While the brunch itself wasn't particularly unique or mind blowing (we live in a culinary hub, so the standards are admittedly very high!)...it was a nice, solid breakfast with good service, ample space and the price was right. I told him I'd be there tonight, and here I am, sauce all over my face, having just eaten three red mole tacos in a disco/roadhouse inspired converted pharmacy that screams fun and delivers tasty. The mole itself is hearty and fragrant, with that subdued sweetness that I absolutely love in a good mole. Also delicious are the house-made macha and pequin sauces served with the tacos. The macha is peanut-based, but nothing like what you might imagine - smoky, earthy, serious. The pequin is its spicier cousin - similar flavour profile but with a gunpowder kick.
