The views of the Gulf and Isla Mujeres are the constant Vista as you sip drinks and feel the sand between your toes. However there was a waitress that was wearing a shirt that said "Kathy". She wasn't our waitress, but she gave us the bill at the end because our waitress was busy. The bill was around 600 pesos and we paid 1,000 pesos in cash. She took our money and never gave back any change. For the next 15 minutes we tried to get her attention and she pretended that she didn't see us, and just ignored us. We got our original waitress back and she quickly got us the correct change. She is super great and nice. Make her the manager and fire the Kathy waitress. As a frequent traveler, I have easily tipped up to 1,000 pesos for good service, but this was downright scammy and made us feel so grossed out by this behavior.
