English speakers be aware!…read more Go at your own risk and AVOID the waitress wearing a shirt that says "Kathy". She will scam you. Read other peoples reviews, seems like it's not her first time. Read the whole story: The food was good, and our waitress was amazing! She gave us great recommendations. We gave her a good tip at the end for her amazing service. However there was a waitress that was wearing a shirt that said "Kathy". She wasn't our waitress, but she gave us the bill at the end because our waitress was busy. The bill was around 600 pesos and we paid 1,000 pesos in cash. She took our money and never gave back any change. For the next 15 minutes we tried to get her attention and she pretended that she didn't see us, and just ignored us. We got our original waitress back and she quickly got us the correct change. She is super great and nice. Make her the manager and fire the Kathy waitress. As a frequent traveler, I have easily tipped up to 1,000 pesos for good service, but this was downright scammy and made us feel so grossed out by this behavior. It's behaviors like that make travelers not come to your restaurant because they don't want to be scammed. --- Viajeros ¡Tenga cuidado!

We ordered fish tacos, it is served with a double tortilla and two breaded pieces of fish (you can make two tacos out of one order, one taco de Camaron (shrimp taco), one pescadilla (which is a crunchy taco with fish and cheese), one tostadilla de ceviche, one tostadilla de atún (pieces of tuna fish). All of the fixings are inside in the bar area. The server will bring the salsas to your table. Mostly locals come and eat here, which generally means great food, and great prices!

We were looking to try out some traditional desserts that we had never experienced before. Of the many food carts parked side by side, this one seemed to attract our attention the most. We stood by and watched how the Marquesita is made. Batter is added to a crepe pan and cooked made to order. A variety of fillings were available to choose from, but we asked for their most popular food item. Apparently shredded cheese and nutella is a favorite choice of the locals. Joe K and I shared this unusual dessert combo, and the blend was better than I expected. I wasn't quite sure at first if I would like cheese and chocolate together, but it turned out pretty tasty after all. It was a nice ending to our all day food truck food binge at the park!

So, being the first English language reviewer on the page, let me explain what this is. Marquesitas are pastries, to go pastries to be exact, rolled into some sort of a fried crispy tortilla, with cheese and a dash of nutella. Granted, there are a few variations, but the one I got appeared to be the most common. The flavor combo is amazing and it's a true street food dessert that you cannot miss while traveling! The truck stays open late, I came close to 11pm. Sometimes the most unexpected combinations get you, so you if you are a mildly adventurous eater, make sure to give this a try!
