La Regadera was one of the newest restaurants in the area so decided to join a group with a family friend to check out some of the dishes. We wanted to try a number of dishes so ordered several things to share amongst 10 people. Too many to list but everything we had there's a photo and description. Everything was delicious and compared to the other more traditional Canarian restaurants in the area, there is a bit of a modern twist - such as the black papas arrugadas. Also if you're more of the atmospherey type of person, this place is nice and bright - with a nice homey feel to it with the furniture. Most restaurants in LP feel like they've been around for a long time - which gives it a nice charm but if you're looking for a new and fresh place, definitely check out La Regadera.

If I go for dessert, I order a chocolate classico and an order of churros. The food here isn't refined. It tastes great to me when I wait and wait to cook dinner, realize that I don't have groceries, and want to eat quickly. One man who got order didn't know which food wasn't available. Tapa is around 2 euro, more expensive than other next door places but nothing special. I also had one kind of Pulpo dish (there are two kinds and lower priced one was not available) and it was just ok. The menu also has taco pescado (seafood) and I thought it was a taco shell filled with seafood or fish but it wasn't. It is a fried fish ball. I would try other place for tapa or seafood next time.
