The Calle Rui de Alda used to be quite a busy street congested with traffic and recently have closed it off which made it quite nice for restaurants/bars in the area to set up tables outside. La Regadera was one of the newest restaurants in the area so decided to join a group with a family friend to check out some of the dishes.
We wanted to try a number of dishes so ordered several things to share amongst 10 people. Too many to list but everything we had there's a photo and description. Everything was delicious and compared to the other more traditional Canarian restaurants in the area, there is a bit of a modern twist - such as the black papas arrugadas. Also if you're more of the atmospherey type of person, this place is nice and bright - with a nice homey feel to it with the furniture. Most restaurants in LP feel like they've been around for a long time - which gives it a nice charm but if you're looking for a new and fresh place, definitely check out La Regadera. read more
