This is probably my favorite restaurant in Tijuana. Went here to celebrate Valentine's Day with the hubby and we had a great experience. The food was really good, drinks were also very good and they had a special 2 x 1 . They had the mariachi playing and also a Norteño. The only thing we didn't like was that they played at the same time so it was hard to hear either or. They have Valet and their staff was very nice . Definitely will recommend this place. read more

Diego said it best: "If you're looking for a place than can easily summarize the TJ/Mexican food/drinks/culture/experience then this is the place to check out." I've been a few times now and most recently, the staff was very accommodating for our group of 8 tipsy travelers. We had about a 15 minute wait due to it being a holiday, but once seated everything was perfect. There were actually two Mariachi bands and one solo guitarist walking around the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon. Our group enjoyed plenty of margaritas, chips, queso fundido guacamole, entres and so many smiles! I was handed the card of one of the mariachi bands, "El Fabuloso Mariachi Premier" and I can contest, they are fabulous!! Very entertaining and added a great ambiance to our meal. I have seen this place over the years but never dropped in. It had the appearance of an old TJ touristas stop but everyone was Mexican except us. A family of about 30 was celebrating a birthday. The Abuelita danced with the young kids. The music they had was live. So we had great entertainment while we ate. They start you with a bowl of chips with fresh cheese and salsa. It is a wonderful balance of flavors. We then had Caesar's salad which was about the best I have ever had. It was done correctly with romaine leaves, egg dressing, parmigian and croutons. We ordered a grill which is delivered to the table. We had shrimp, chicken and beef smothered in onions. It was served with hot fresh tortillas and a plate of guacamole and beans and a bowl of melted cheese. For dessert I had crepes with nuts and a sweet salsa. Overall it was an enjoyable dinner. Afterwards we watched the little girls and Abuelita dance some more. read more

Delicious food and great atmosphere. This was my first time in Tijuana and we came here at the suggestion of several people. We took a cab from PedWest and it was a short drive. It provided a well rounded experience - great food, great atmosphere, great time. We ordered the guacamole and queso fundido to start. I highly recommend the queso fundido, although it's something I think you can get in the US for about the same taste. Margaritas were great, but a little on the sweet side. I had an order of the carnitas tacos - which came a la carte with 4 to an order. If you want beans and rice you have to order that separately from the tacos. There also is a live mariachi band that moves table to table, and requires tips to play table side. I think the mariachi band was a little expensive, although that could have been been due to the fact we were a table of 6 (obvious) Americans. They asked for $10 USD a song. Overall good experience and definitely would return. read more

Dinner here is highly recommended when in Zona Rio. Valet parking. Tableside music, your choice of Mariachi or Norteno. Real cool atmosphere. Had a carne asada plate that was unlike most I've had in the states. It was super flavorful, absolutely no fat on the cut of meat, and a generous portion size. 2 entrees, plus 4 cocktails came to a surprising 26 bucks!!! Aside from the waiter trying to give himself a 270 peso tip with my change, this experience was off the charts. read more

I really wanted to give this place a chance, but was left highly disappointed. It took them 25 min to take our drink order and another 20 min to get the menu after much insisting on our part. The restaurant was more than half empty and the waiters spent more time fighting amongst themselves. I would say that the food was good. We ordered quesadillas, molcajete mar y tierra and a ribye. The downpart being that since the restaurant was so cold inside our meal didn't last warm very long. Overall not worth the hassle going again. Also, they are not handicap friendly if that applies to anyone. read more

We dropped in to this joint after walking ALL over el Parque Morelos. It was walking distance from our hotel near Plaza Rio and we fell in love as soon as we walked in. This place is like a museum. They have a pretty dope ceiling that's tiled with Mexican Loteria cards. There are also lots of vintage photo of Mexico's epoca de oro and all the famous actors and actresses. The food was good and satisfying we had mole and cochinita pibil. The booze special during happy hour is 2x1 after 5:30PM so if you can come in around that time then do it! This place even caters to weddings cuz we witnessed a happy couple and their rambunctious amig@s getting drunk & crunk. Definitely would come back whenever we are here in Tijuana. read more

This is my second visit in a month to Los Remedios. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The staff are welcoming, the atmosphere is inviting and I love the ceilings! I decided to try something more than the usual taco/enchiladas combo and so I ordered the molcajete arracheda. It was my first molcajete and I can't believe that after years of eating great Mexican food I am only now discovering this dish. The blend of very tender beef and spices was perfect! Any molcajete I try in the future will be judged by the molcajete from Los Remedios! read more

This place is my absolute favorite!! My boyfriend at the time now husband brought me here for a date night and I fell in Love. The food is great we like to share the Molcajete Norteño.
