The driver stacked them so I could easily move them manually to block them up, and I was easily able to split all 20 cord with a 7lb maul with almost no stubborn pieces. If you enjoy cutting firewood by hand with a maul I recommend using Got Wood to purchase your logs from, the only tools I needed were Chainsaw, Maul and a long pry bar.

The owners looked everything over, said all the right things regarding how the work would be completed and said they would do the job in 2 or 3 weeks. The price was reasonable so we agreed and a contract was drawn up. On May 7th I called and was told that we were certainly on the list of work to complete and would be called when they would be available to do the work. They also stated that the spring rains had slowed them down. On May 22nd I called again and was told their bucket truck was broken but would be fixed soon. I call again on July 24th and never got a return call. I called again in November, cancelled the contract and asked for a callback to explain the reason they didn't want the work, again, no response. I would like to know what happened. Next spring I will call someone else and start again. It's not very good business to just leave a customer waiting and not even return phone calls. I would never recommend this company.

( some people will sell you less than a cord, which by the way, is 4' x 4' x 8') or " what species of wood will I be getting?" (some people will sell you inferior species.) I asked these two questions and the respondent (via text) imediately got miffed and acted like they were far too busy to deal with any one who would dare to ask. They immediately cut off my order because I had the audacity. As I said, they may have a good product (or not), but they sure weren't interested in confirming that by answering the two simple questions. The person I was texting with was rude and dismissive. I decided to take my business elsewhere. Oops, there goes that perfect Yelp rating.
