He removed some yews I had planted and replaced them with Arbor Vitae in 2017. Last year I called and asked him to come over because the deer had destroyed them as well. Todd came over in June of 2018 and said he would return because there were things he could do to protect the trees. He never returned; additionally, he has never returned my phone calls. I had requested a hydrangea bush as well in 2017. In 2017 and 2018 he said, "I will look into it." Perhaps he has disappeared into a parallel universe of hydrangeas. I find Todd's behavior beyond unacceptable; it is both unethical and unprofessional. I have spoken to several landscapers in the area. They both agreed that an ESF student should know that deer love Arbor Vitae. I am not in an income bracket where $5000 is chump change. I would discourage anyone interested in hiring Green Scapes to look elsewhere. I would still like for this problem to be resolved. I am still extremely disappointed, Lee Conant P.S. They did give us a quote for the removal and then suggested contacting Benedict for this job as they had the proper tools to deal with our situation, they also indicated that Benedict would be cheaper for this job. So, after the person from Bartlett left I called Benedict and he indicated that he was in the area and could stop by in about 1/2hr to look at the job. He came by as promised looked over our tree and gave me a quote that was 1k less than Bartlett's. The team started at 7:30a the next morning and by 11a, the tree was gone and so was the crew.
