There are a lot of not vintage items just vintage-looking, and some really stained and damaged tops in the front section which are not marked down. The store is very very packed full of clothes as well (and it's already quite small) making it hard to navigate and sort through. I wouldn't pay the prices they are asking, but I would if they put more care into the clothes they're selling and cleaning up the place generally. I think they could make the store easier to navigate and worth the prices by reducing overall inventory by 15%, and removing the stained and damaged and not-vintage clothes from the regular section, and having a distinct clearance section for those items.

I saw lots of beautiful, nicely priced furniture, costume jewelry cases, vintage clothing, soaps, chalk paint, and vintage household goods such as dishes and bakeware. We only spent an hour looking around but could easily have taken a couple of hours or more. Since anything I bought would have to be packed in a suitcase or carry on, I decided there wasn't anything I couldn't live without at that time. If you're ever in Chico CA, this is a great stop for looking at antiques.

Some unique and unusual pieces I haven't seen before....the owner is a really friendly and nice guy. He's made us some great deals on stepping stones last time we were there. My favorite are the ones that look like giant bare footprints! On our last visit the owner was mentioning how times have been hard due to the economy and fuel prices, people just aren't traveling past as much...stop by and pay him a visit--I want them to stay open so I can pick up a gargoyle fountain next! And if you're so inclined, you can stop by Centerfolds next door after picking up some lawn art. ;-)
