What a nice antique store. And big with an upstairs and a back building! One thing I was looking for was sheet music for Bookguy and they had some, but it was inaccessible at the time I was there. I saw lots of beautiful, nicely priced furniture, costume jewelry cases, vintage clothing, soaps, chalk paint, and vintage household goods such as dishes and bakeware. We only spent an hour looking around but could easily have taken a couple of hours or more. Since anything I bought would have to be packed in a suitcase or carry on, I decided there wasn't anything I couldn't live without at that time. We go to a lot of antique stores and this is up there as one of the best. It's huge. It keeps going and going. We found so many items to add to our collection at home. Like most antique stores there were some absolute steals while others are really expensive but overall we felt the deals were fair. Found this toy car that I had from my childhood until 2017 when we lost our home in the Northern California wildfires. Brought back so many memories, had to grab it. read more

Mark and his crew really know their stuff....this is the biggest and cleanest store I have ever seen. Most items are hand picked and organized in 100 or more dealer booths. I have come here countless times for 20 years and always have fun. Most of the time I walk out of there with a treasure or two. It's like a history museum where you can buy the items. Fun to find that one item amongst possibly a million to choose from, like mining for gold. Good prices compared to Bay Area, Sac. or big cities. read more

From the moment of walking in the door, being followed like a shoplifter, which I'm not, all the way to check out. We stopped by this antique center during a day in Chico. It was a cute set up in two buildings. Only down side is the back building does not have AC, so you'll melt shopping. But the front building does and there is a lot to see there. Everything from furniture to baby things to tiny trinkets. It was a fun experience and a place you should plan on spending 1hr+ at. read more

We used to find fun treasures at the store. Our last two visits have been very disappointing. Now it is junked-up and some areas you can hardly pass due to clutter. That would not be an issue if there were interesting collectible items in the mix. However, the inventory is looking more like a thrift store of super low end stuff. If you need anything antique or vintage this is the go to spot. Such a hidden gem from the two whole floors of furniture, clothes, jewelry, collectibles, etc and the amazing customer service. Great group of staff working at this store. Prices are a bit steep on some furniture but the pieces are in good condition considering age. I called the store today. RUDE!!! Last night I walked pasted the window; headed from dinner at Leon Bistro (YUM!). I Loved the look of an Armiore with mirrored fron I've been searching for one for 4 months- waiting for the right one! No cookie cutter for me. Store closes at 5pm; it would be very difficult to get to the store before then; if it weren't for work. Called to check price-- see if worth my time to check out. This is actually a cooperative of several, individually-owned booths. I hate to say it, but very little in here is older than the 1960s. My mom and I were here and she saw a sewing box identical to hers. Not exactly antique. But a fun place to browse. Of course, nothing in here claims to be older than it is, and of course, there are some older items,but don't expect a great deal, or an Antiques Roadshow moment (which I am proud to say I appeared on when they were in SF). This place is WAY, WAY, WAY too expensive!! I've been here on many occasions because they have so many things and it is fun to window shop on a lazy Sunday but because they're prices are so outrageous I haven't been back in a while. I'm a wheeler and dealer and so on the days I have actually wanted to buy something from them I've attempted to do just that. NOT ONCE HAS ANYONE TAKEN ME UP ON MY OFFERS!! This store is a treasure hunt in the making, a friend and I spent almost 2 hours browsing and we both enjoyed it thoroughly. I'm an avid Pinterest-er and was looking for skeleton keys for a Skeleton Key Wind chime I have my heart set on making. This place is magical. I've never been anywhere like it! Two buildings, 2 floors, with tons of antique collections. They had great vintage furniture and I left with a really cool dresser. There is something for everyone here, and there's so much to explore that you can make a day out of it! I just called to ask about selling a few antiques I have. The lady on the phone was not at all interested in talking to me or answering my questions. I first said I am interested in selling some antiques and before I could finish she cut me off and said that I'd have to bring them down. I told her that before I loaded them all up in the car I just wanted to make sure they would be interested in the types of items I had. Again she cut me off and announced very irritated and impatiently that I would have to bring them down so they could look at them. Finally I said, "could I please just ask you quickly if you guys would buy a table or some china?" she replied,"table yes. China no." Thank you for your help! Was that so hard? It is nice to know beforehand if places are even interested in the things you want. I am just one woman with a sedan and loading furniture in the trunk and bunjee cording it closed is difficult for me, so I'm very sorry to inconvieniance you with a 30 second question for the chance it might save me the trouble. So selfish of me. I think I will take my business somewhere that wants it and doesn't behave as if I am just another idiot bothering them. read more

It appears that I am having the same negative experience with these people that James D. did, only worse. I had them do an estate sale for me, and one of the first things they did was haul stuff off to their shop or to be sold to "people they knew". He even took off with my Uncle's Purple heart from WW1! Since I work full time, I wasn't able to be there to supervise the goings on. On the last day of the sale, I was told that I would be receiving my check in a few days. A week has past, and when I called him to find out where my money was, he said that he still needed to do his so-called "paperwork" and it would be "a few days". When I told him that I was not impressed with his unprofessional business ethics, he not only became irate on the phone, but hung up on me. We are talking about a lot of money here, at least to me. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. read more

One of my fav stores on my treasure hunting map. Unfortunately not all items are what they seem or claimed to be. Not all sellers know the difference between vintage, antique and everything in between or how to price accordingly. But this occasionally happens at almost all antique "co-op" style stores now days.
