I stayed here because there was not room at his family's place. It's an average, inexpensive hotel but clean and cozy. It's a good place to catch some rest and it is far enough off the highway that you are not affected by highway noise. The room has a full size bed, a 2-seater couch, inn table, and a nice table which I am using to type this review. I would recommend bringing your own power bar as, like most hotels in any price range, there are a short number of available power outlets. The room has a small college type refrigerator. One of the things I like is that the washroom/bathroom/restroom has a fan (many hotels in other price ranges do not and that can be odorous). I believe there is free breakfast but I honestly was not listening. I am tired since I have spent half the week sick and now I have pinkeye. The WiFi is free and pretty fast. The downside to the location is that the downtown core and shopping area is about 2km or so north of this location so if you do not have a car as I did not as we took one car, you are pretty much stuck though there is a Petro Canada and Esso station (which has a Burger Baron restaurant in it) This hotel is on the right side of Alberta 2 Northbound in Red Deer.

The room was clean, the staff was friendly. There was nothing in the room that was noticeably dirty or broken. I'd stay here again. Very helpful and caring place and staff who have no problem laughing with the silly jokes that slip out.
