Our job was a mother-in-law suite remodel - bathroom demo, wet-bar demo, new flooring, shower, tile, vanity, electrical work for down-lights - sconces - and tv, new quartz counter-top, sink, etc...... We own the property but didn't live in it. Erick and Krystal coordinated with our tenants during the project that took place 1,500 miles away from us. My wife did the designing and Erick brought it all to life. We have JA&M lined up for more projects and can highly recommend them!

Communication I have never hired a contractor before and communication was super important to me. From invoicing, questions about my contract, and communicating with my contractor, Erick, things were amazing!! Cost The company was highly competitive with their pricing. Do not overlook them!! Work The work is amazing. My bath has been transformed into the hotel spa I wanted in my home. Everything was removed from a basic build to a high end look. My tile work looks beautiful and the meticulous attention to detail has exceeded my expectations. I now need to remodel my secondary bath to match the primary and JA&M will be getting a call from me. I have lots of projects in mind and I hope they are willing to do them all. The company is the real deal and will not take advantage of you.

I steer clear of yelps or other review sites where customers complaints go unacknowledged by management. But certainly, in this day of hackers and scammers, my initial fright was triggered by the weird events of the messages received and the telephone number on website not being in service, and that I had given out information to the site. The management got on top of that issue and fixed the phone problems. Relieved to know that this is a legit company and will be meeting with contractor next week.

During the quoting process, tasks that appeared to require only 15 minutes were routinely estimated and billed at 30 minutes. Several very simple tasks were quoted at around $300 for 30 minutes of labor, which equates to approximately $600 per hour. Concerned by the pricing, I called the owner for clarification (Anthony Hunter). He stated their rate was $275 per hour, but also explained that they bill using detailed line items. Based on the estimate we received, the effective hourly cost was significantly higher than what we consider reasonable or competitive for this type of work. My issue is not with Nick personally, he was professional, but with the pricing model and the way the estimate was structured. The quote we received was dramatically higher than market and left me with little confidence that the billing practices are transparent or customer-focused. I would encourage anyone considering this company to obtain multiple quotes and carefully review all line items before proceeding. Similar companies charge $100-$200/hour - this pricing model is egregious. These are not lawyers, this is run of the mill handy-man work.
