There are many services out…read morethere and many companies and people that hope to offer you those services, and for most of recorded history one would be at the mercy of a random finger in the yellow pages. Not anymore, power as it were, now rests in the hands of the people. I needed 3 things; A dumpster rental, a quote and information regarding getting said dumpster to my house. So I turned to Yelp and used the quote system and at the ended up with about four quotes. But I had many questions, and Danny was very quick on the response, quoted me a fair price and allowed the dumpster rental for 20 days which was a BIG plus for me. Did I mention he answered my questions promptly? Look, I have dealt with the murky depths of contractors and callbacks...not a good time. Danny shattered my expectations and what's more, on the day of the delivery I had to check status of the dumpster due to working from home that day and having to be on a conference call I could not leave. Danny got back to me in minutes, contacted the driver and had the driver quote me an updated delivery time which I was able to coordinate with my schedule. Imagine that? Working with MY schedule...Great Job Danny. Bottom line, call Danny and see what I mean. I have some floor work coming my way in the future, guess who just put himself at the top of that list? 5STARS!!!

Danny came out and gave me a quote that was detailed, fair and easy to understand. We ended up having to rip out most of our master bath. (The shower floor, half way up the shower walls and an entire wall down to the studs.) I also had a few other projects around the house that I kept adding on, and Danny never minded and always reworked the over all costs for us. They patched the sheetrock in the ceiling and a 6 other places in the walls, completely re-sheetrocked one wall, demo'd our shower, finally sloped the shower floor correctly (it never drained properly before!), matched the tile/grout seamlessly, installed a new vanity, reinstalled a vanity in the guest bath correctly, fixed my back door, built a banister and took an old nasty crawl space under the stairs and helped me turn it into a "hidey hole" for my son. Having a one year old and going through a home renovation like this was stressful. Danny and his guys made it so much easier. They talked to my kid, waved at him, kept their work space as clean as they could during a demo..They were even respectful of nap times! We have to redo our siding on our house soon and Danny is the only one I will be contacting. No other quotes needed.

They provided one guy for the entire job, up until 2 days before we let them go, then there were 2 gentleman. They gave me a 3 week finish time and only had the siding removed at the end of 3 weeks. The one gentlemen would show up 10ish and leave by 1:00, when he did show up. There were multiple no show, no call days. Everything that was removed (old siding, insulation and nails) was left in a large pile next to my house for 3 weeks. My kids couldn't play in the yard and my chickens were eating the foam insulation. I ended up having a nail go through my foot while I was cleaning up the mess they left behind. As they were putting the siding back up, there was no flashing around the windows going up, (they said they were just going to use caulk which will fail), none of the siding was installed properly (broken siding, incorrect spacing, huge gaps on corners, over driven nails). Wes was all about excuses when I called him. He was unaware of everything and just clueless. I would absolutely not hire these guys!!

Besides price, the owner Mike was by far the reason we chose Dreamscapes. His demeanor, professionalism, and attentiveness to our needs paid great dividends as the project moved from the planning stages all the way to completion with all the ups and downs you would expect from such a large project. When we first received Dreamscape's bid we wondered what the catch was since all the other companies' bids were so high even though it was an apple to apple comparison. To say it's the wild, wild west in the construction business is an understatement. The price of materials is the price so once you boil down costs you can see if someone is charging too much. It was refreshing to have a business charge a decent price while being able to make a profit for itself that wasn't going to end up with me sending their kids to Stanford. We had received a separate quote for outdoor lights that Mike was able to undercut significantly. Once work started Mike kept in constant communication with us to let us know what the status of his crew was for the day or week so we could plan our days accordingly. His general labor crew was extremely courteous and professional and cleaned up after each day. His stonework guys were the same and I was so impressed with their work that I added a new mailbox to the contract. Mike also has a crew that does topnotch pavestone work that created the design we were looking for. As with all large projects, not everything went according to plan but this is where Mike's professionalism took over. Mike never asked for more money if an item was over budget or his guys had to fix mistakes. He always accepted responsibility as a business owner which says a lot about his ethics and it's evident he takes pride in his company. Dreamscapes turned our yard into a wonderful place to hang out and enjoy during any season. Don't hesitate to call Mike and have him bid on your project. You will be treated professionally, honestly, and will not be ripped off. **********Update 15 September 2017******** Had an issue with our fountain light and Mike fixed with no questions asked and without any of the usual contractor BS. Some areas of the yard were a little sparse on the mulch due to settling and Mike came out with a full pallet of mulch and took care of the problem. Some of the irrigation lines his sub installed were having issues and Mike made sure they were taken care of. He has a good working relationship with his subs which is reassuring. It's great to finally work with a business owner who actually gets that by treating his customers fairly he will get more business and referrals.

I have made multiple attempts to get the work finished and Jeremy, the owner, has made multiple excuses as to why he can't come finish the job. Not only does he not finish what he starts, he does a bad job on the floors. He sealed my garage, it is peeling. He painted my front porch, it is peeling. He stained my floors in my house and they are peeling also. Not only are the floors peeling, the color is coming off. In our living room, there are 2 outlets in the floor. The electrician was suppose to come in after the floors were done and even them off at the floor level. Jeremy took it upon himself to bring in sack concrete and put in around the outlets on the floor for what reason, we don't know. Now I have two mounds of concrete in my living room. The entrance to our guest bathroom has the word DOOR 26 written on it. He painted over the word instead of removing it before hand. There are several footprints in the paint also, where he walked thru the paint before it was dry. I can go on and on about all the mistakes he made, but I don't have enough time to write it all up. I am so irritated at what he has done to us. Spend a little extra and go get someone else to do the job. He uses cheap materials and doesn't stand behind his work. Anyone want to come look at my house can. I have plenty of pictures if anyone if anyone would like to see them. If I could give him zero stars I would.
