I was immediately met by a man who legitimately SCREAMED into my open window BACK UP! BACK UP! BACK UP! GET OUT OF HERE! I was very confused because the gate was wide open and there were people who did not tell me to stop driving. I tried to explain that I was sorry and I hadn't been here before and ask where I was supposed to be, and he just kept yelling BACK UP and MY DOG IS BACK HERE. As if I was supposed to know that. He gave me zero helpful information about where to go when I tried to ask for it. There was inadequate signage and when I was confused by it I was yelled at by an extremely angry and inconsolable employee. The manager came by to do the return and was very apologetic about this man's behavior, but I was left shaken up by that interaction because I said not one word before being ignored by two employees and screamed at by another for taking the truck to where all the other trucks were. Unbelievably bad experience for a ten minute interaction. I will never come back here.

We moved from Texas to Estes Park and they unpacked our truck into our house that time, then came out a second time to unload another truck from a storage unit we had in San Diego and then when we finally bought a house down in Loveland, they came up a third time to move us down there! We kept going back to Watson because of Jordan, and eminently professional mover with an excellent eye for negotiating large furniture through tight hallways. our amoire alone has daunted other moving guys, but not Jordan. One of their guys suffered a knee injury so the next day the owner of the company, Joel, came out to cover for him himself! It was a big move and there were lots of challenges, but the Watson guys never complained once and kept a positive attitude throughout. Now that I've moved into my house, it's unlikely I will need them again anytime soon, but I recommend them highly.

Tip of the iceberg of problems with this move which is very disappointing considering I had worked with same company twice before and had movers that hustled and did a great job. The most recent move was the opposite and only made worse by owners who justified it and blamed me for poor planning. Have since used another mover for a different situation and it was flawless. I'm also a member of a merchant group and we've switched our recommendation list to other moving companies (one in particular) and the 6 moves that used our recommendation were perfect; no damage, within cost estimate, timely and easy to work with.

My only experience was getting a quote for a move from Fort Collins to Loveland and I spoke to a female who I swear was paid by the word. She rambled on, had trouble asking questions. Anyway, the customer, who is my boss's boss, hired us to finish the move. I know the organizations and business clubs he's part of and he has been plenty busy but will be "spreading the word" when he gets back from Europe in June.

Five hours later and the majority of our items have not been moved into our new house. Because they showed up at 11:30 instead of 9:00 am it is now evening. They were the SLOWEST crew of young boys who were pleasant but don't quite understand what hard work means. It is now later in the evening and the 'manager' says they can't finish, which leaves us completely stranded. The boy in charge at the move was apologetic and said they would finish tomorrow. The 'Manager' texted and said they will not be finishing tomorrow and will not call us back. Do not believe their quote. Do not believe their timeline. Do not believe they are professionals. Do not believe the job will actually get done. And do not believe they will actually show up on time.

I took photos and sent them to Alpine Moving, the first thing they asked in a derogatory manner "well, are you sure they weren't scratched before the move?". I had taken pictures and sent them to Alpine. One person (Sam) said twice they would come out and look at the damage, they didn't. I spoke to others in the company (many call) one was Alec he said "what do you want out of this?" I said I wanted someone to come out and look at the damage, he said no. He said "what do you want out of this? What is your ballpark". we keep this back and forth exchange with no resolution. He said they couldn't help me because their employee said they were careful. One piece of furniture I had delivered to my previous apartment, no damage and it took the movers less than 5 minutes to get into place. Alpine movers moving the same piece of furniture took over 30 minutes to get into the room (same layout in both apartments). The Alpine Mover had the piece of furniture turned sideways, backed into another room, sliding across floor and couldn't figure out how it get it in the room. The piece of custom painted furniture sustained damage on bun feet and bent hinges so the doors do not close properly. Today after several phone call in which Alpine said they couldn't help me I asked that their insurance adjuster come out and look at the damage. Alec said okay. I'll believe it when I see it. Their "Crew" consisted of one full time employee and one temp hire. They did not use enough blankets; stacked things precariously; bumped into door frames; scraped down the hallway coming in. The people I talked to on the phone were extremely rude and crude (except Sam who only made empty promises). So the saga continues, ; will an adjuster come out; will I ever get a call back?..... DON'T USE ALPINE MOVING AT ANY COST!
