The worst, actually. 18 year old boys showed up two and a half hours late. The 'estimate' said at most 6 hours...but probably four. Five hours later and the majority of our items have not been moved into our new house. Because they showed up at 11:30 instead of 9:00 am it is now evening. They were the SLOWEST crew of young boys who were pleasant but don't quite understand what hard work means. It is now later in the evening and the 'manager' says they can't finish, which leaves us completely stranded. The boy in charge at the move was apologetic and said they would finish tomorrow. The 'Manager' texted and said they will not be finishing tomorrow and will not call us back. Do not believe their quote. Do not believe their timeline. Do not believe they are professionals. Do not believe the job will actually get done. And do not believe they will actually show up on time. read more

They said they were insured. Some wood pieces of furniture were damaged. I took photos and sent them to Alpine Moving, the first thing they asked in a derogatory manner "well, are you sure they weren't scratched before the move?". I had taken pictures and sent them to Alpine. One person (Sam) said twice they would come out and look at the damage, they didn't. I spoke to others in the company (many call) one was Alec he said "what do you want out of this?" I said I wanted someone to come out and look at the damage, he said no. He said "what do you want out of this? What is your ballpark". we keep this back and forth exchange with no resolution. He said they couldn't help me because their employee said they were careful. One piece of furniture I had delivered to my previous apartment, no damage and it took the movers less than 5 minutes to get into place. Alpine movers moving the same piece of furniture took over 30 minutes to get into the room (same layout in both apartments). The Alpine Mover had the piece of furniture turned sideways, backed into another room, sliding across floor and couldn't figure out how it get it in the room. The piece of custom painted furniture sustained damage on bun feet and bent hinges so the doors do not close properly. Today after several phone call in which Alpine said they couldn't help me I asked that their insurance adjuster come out and look at the damage. Alec said okay. I'll believe it when I see it. Their "Crew" consisted of one full time employee and one temp hire. They did not use enough blankets; stacked things precariously; bumped into door frames; scraped down the hallway coming in. The people I talked to on the phone were extremely rude and crude (except Sam who only made empty promises). So the saga continues, ; will an adjuster come out; will I ever get a call back?..... DON'T USE ALPINE MOVING AT ANY COST! read more

i have bought - sold many properties in the past 25 years. Moved accordingly many times. My latest move with this company ( or non move ) was the absolute worst experience in my life. In Sept i hired this company based on their "good reviews". They moved me from our home to a storage facility in Loveland. During that move out they damaged one of our living spaces beds To there credit they brought it to my attn - at the time i was ok with it because they promised to take care of the damage. This past weekend they were to move me out of storage and to my new place. During the move they informed me that one of my dressers also had damage. they tried to put the blame on me even though they MOVED the dresser out during the initial move to the storage facility and never brought any damage to it to my attn it was never touched again from that move out day After some haggling on the phone the owner and i agreed to compensation than a few minutes later i was told owner wanted me to PAY bill BEFORE they unloaded my belongings which i agreed to. I than told the employee running the move ( one of 2 ) people on the job that i wanted it in writing they would fix the damage they did to my bed in the original Sept move to the storage facility. WELL within minutes of my asking to put that in writing i was told. We DONT feel comfortable in moving you and they have the right to stop the move - that they would place my furniture BACK into the cleaned out storage unit Needless to say i was at a loss and totally upset. the two employees actually felt as i did but of course didnt want to lose there job so in the end my furniture was put back inside storage unit Fortunately for me the storage facility recommended another company. i moved out a few days later totally satisfied with the second company and SAVED over $1000 I was told that i would receive a call on Friday ( today ) to discuss compensation for the damage caused. 5 stars bc of the lengths these guys went to help me stay within my budget. They seemed to understand covid-related setbacks. The moving itself was largely smooth but not completely flawless, in that I did get some damages and I noticed the staff was not wearing masks. I can only guess that the staff is tested regularly and they seemed like nice people. It's rare for a mover to just say "sorry" when they do something with your stuff you don't want them to. In any event, the communication was good which is more than I can say for a lot of movers and I need to thank Ace again for being flexible with me. read more

I had to post this review because it was absolutely necessary, to prevent others from potentially hazardous situation. Alpine moving company, comes with several hi rated reviews. Upon meeting with Jordan for an estimate, he appeared knowledgeable, honest, and caring. These are all great qualities to having someone you entrust with you our most valued belongings when moving to a new location. Moving is so stressful, and hiring the right movers is so important. We agreed-upon an estimated cost, and also that the moving company would provide some packing and wrapping services. Moving day arrived, and the movers did not load many of my belongings, and when I provided photos to Jordan, rather than offering to transport the rest of the belongings, he instead added another hundred dollars to the estimate. When I said that this was unacceptable, he threatened to unpack all of my belongings in the middle of a move to a different city! I have provided the text messages and images of all that he promised to pack and simply left behind. When the movers did arrive, there were two young men, who worked very hard and had a good attitude, however they didn't have the man power to complete the job, and left my home in a total disarray. They also destroyed some of my valuable and sentimental property. Of course the owner was rude about this as well! I have provided additional photos. I think that the positive reviews for this company are fake because the owner displayed no professionalism or basic decency. My experience was bad. They charged me three times as much as the estimate. Once they had all of my belongings outside I was told that there was more boxes and items than they estimated and they could either not take some of the items or I had to pay what they were asking. Had to be out of the house so I had no choice. Even though they had brought enough truck space to take everything. I strongly do not recommend this company. read more

I was calling around trying to get the best (lowest) price for movers because, of course, moving can be expensive, Ya know! We had a terrible experience with Alpine. First we were stood up for our estimation appt at our home- I called and they rescheduled. Then the estimation for moving our small home was grossly underestimated by $500. All of our wood furniture has dings and scratches that were not present prior- they did not pad appropriately nor were they careful in handling our belongings. They crushed one of my lamps, I reported it and nothing was ever done to compensate for the loss. I would not use them. Look elsewhere. read more

So I went with a friend's recommendation and booked with Mountain Moving in Eaton...big mistake. After they completely botched a very small pre-move job, I was frantically back on the hunt. I came across Alpine Moving online and decided to give them a try. Jordan was very responsive and helpful, the cost was super competitive and affordable, and the crew couldn't have been better. The young men were very professional, careful, and they even went the extra mile to help install/move my washer and dryer that were delivered the same day as my move (when those delivery guys dropped the ball). My husband and I recently moved to Colorado we reached out to Alpine to help us unload our 28 ft. Trailer. Alpine sent Forest and Brenden to help and we can't speak highly enough of them (both so kind and polite!) and the company. They were on time and were literally running in and out of the house to get the trailer unloaded quickly. A trailer that took us roughly 3-4 days to pack was unloaded in 2.5 hours! The guys were nice and hard workers. They didn't waste time. There were some hiccups however. The biggest one is that I noticed a couple days after they left that our crib was reassembled incorrectly. The second thing is that they got our couch stuck in the stairwell a bit. I did not have the opportunity on the other side to inspect the couch for damage but I hope there was none. The third thing is that the dolly broke part way through and they had to stop and fix it. I am glad they got it fixed however when you charge by the hour anything that is not the consumer's delay should be deducted for the total time. I think I would hire them again however during furniture breaking down and reassembly I would watch more closely. read more
