Phoned the dudes at Green Flag and their local contractor, these guys, was on the scene within the hour. They hauled the jalopy back to their garage in quick time and had it fixed within a day at a well reasonable cost. Great and friendly service from all involved, and wouldn't hesitate to use them again... Although ah hope ah don't huv tae...;)

It was freezing and the traffic was racing by not a nice place to be. Anyway they arrived within 15minutes I was so happy to see him. The guy was brilliant checked my car, I asked him if you could take it to the garage which was no problem. Ram was the recovery driver and he was so friendly and put me at ease, told me to sit in the cab as I was freezing and bit overwelmed with all this. I have never used this service before but these guys were fantastic, everyone should make sure that Robert W Brownlie is their breakdown service.

They kept my car for two weeks, it was driven every other day. She was THEE most OBNOXIOUS individual I have had to deal with in a long time. Making cheeky comments and talking over me. I gave up trying to find anything out. When I finally got my car back, I found the paint work on my front bumper has been scratched off, but there would be absolutely no point in contacting them as they would just lie, again. The owner and I agreed on a date to drop the car off at his premises. His working hours are very limited, which is not ideal when in full time employ. Anyway, we managed a time for the drop off, and because the place closed around 16.00 o left my car outside for service the next day. When collecting the car 3 days later, I noticed a massive dent at the front plus scratches. When I asked what happened, I did not get many answers and especially that there is nothing the garage can do. I did not get much support to get this sorted and all fault at the garage side was declined. Long story short, I would not necessarily recommend this garage based on the location, nor the aftercare. Although the service seemed to have been fine, you are risking lots more. The issue is that it's not the best area to leave your car and whilst you save on service costs you might need to pay for the repairs If the car would have been returned in the original state it would have been a 4 star.

I came across this garage on groupon where they had a service and mot package at a really reasonable price. It did cross my mind that maybe it was too good to be true but off i went. I dropped the car off and headed into town. The garage is ideally located for buses either into town or to the fort but on this day i was meeting a friend for lunch. After a few hrs i got a call to say my car had failed its mot and my heart sank... expecting to be hit with a bill of hundreds i was told that it failed on the same thing as last year only the other side. I had used a different garage last year and was quoted roughly the same price. I later found out that the fail was very common with my type of car. I was quite happy to pay and headed back to collect the car. I wasnt sure if they took card payments so i tool cash. Overall i was pleasently surprised and i would have no hesitation in using this garage again.
