My company is now using it for trainings and events when we have the need to stay overnight. It's allowing our team to be in one place and spend time together casually. Plus, if you don't want to leave for dinner, it's easy enough to order delivery or bring in food for the group. While each bedroom isn't attached to a bathroom, some are and this is great for co-ed groups. All 3 floors have bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and living spaces. Upstairs is more ideal for group gatherings and meetings. Regarding bedrooms - my bed was comfy enough but the pillows are TERRIBLE. Next time I'll be packing my own and likely a blanket. There are a lot of windows and you will experience light or noise from cars. Pack earphones and a sleeping mask. Small fans are available to help with air flow and background noise. Shower had good water pressure and I appreciated the amenities to make it a comfortable space. There is a private parking lot. Entry is only with a secured code. Outdoor patio space is available for nice evenings. Restaurants and shopping are nearby. If you have someone that would struggle with stairs, it's best to stay on the first floor. The building is 100+ years old so it isn't as accessible as newer construction. I'll be back a few times this year and will snap more shots of the space.

The owner was very friendly, and everything was clean and well kept. The front garden and table would be a great place to hang out on a nice day. The living room has a coffee/tea station, an ice bucket, and glasses for wine, complimentary cookies, a couple wicker chairs, a couch, movies, and a TV. The couch and TV situation could be better for relaxing. The TV was a bit small or a bit too far away, but this is a little detail. To the right of the entrance and up a couple stairs is the bedroom with a queen bed, side table, and bench to put your things. There is a door in the bedroom that leads to the house through a closet, but it is kept locked when visitors are there and only used to easily access the apartment to clean. The bathroom was a major highlight to Virginia's Garden. It's bigger than you would expect! To the right is a microwave and small refrigerator with an opening below that perfectly fit the small cooler I brought. There is a nice sink area and shower. Walking past these is a large clawfoot bathtub, pedestal sink, toilet, chair, and a table with bath salts which I found useful after long days of walking! This place is perfect, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting!

The house was huge and had everything you could possibly need. There were 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The master suite was upstairs and had 2 private balconies, a jetted tub and tons of space. There was a nice 4 person hot tub on the deck and picnic tables and a grill. My parents came up and stayed one night and we had a blast grilling and enjoying the outdoor space. We were walking distance to the little clubhouse which has a pool but it was not open due to Covid. I think it opened July 1st though. We did some hiking and checked out the Taylorsville Lake Marina which was a 5 minute drive. They had kayaks, canoes and boats to rent. Daniel and I rented a 2 person kayak for a day. Unfortunately, after about 30 minutes on the lake, we got caught in a storm. But, the workers sent a pontoon boat to rescue us and gave us a credit to come back for another Kayak day. Super fun experience. Best part- it is only a 35 minute drive from Louisville.
