I am of course speaking off Susan Daftary and her amazing staff, at the Terry Fox Dental Centre. I was having sharp pain in one of my tooth so I walked into the clinic and I got an examination the same day. Two days later Dr Daftary was playing tug o' war with my wisdom tooth and well the tooth lost. Dr Daftary is very polite and takes her time to explain everything to the patient. As far as skill goes, she is absolutely amazing. I felt no pain in getting my wisdom tooth removed and I was back at work 10 minutes after my procedure. She is also very knowledgeable and will go out of her way to accommodate the patient. I wish I could say I won't be going back but I think that's just wishful thinking. At least I know that when I return, I'll be in good hands.

I did not want black filling, i thought Dentists are using white filling now a days. I will never go back to this clinic although i know the owner is very good and professional.

The receptionist is positively fabulous. She has a positive attitude, always greets me with a smile, and is a whiz with insurance processing. Dr. Kassis is an excellent dentist--she is frank and understanding. She is genuinely concerned about her patients' well being and is very professional. I found that Dr. Kassis and her team of dental assistants and hygienists to be knowledgeable, understanding, and gentle with all those annoying poking tools. I did not feel rushed; if I needed a break to rest my mouth they were happy to accommodate. What's really great about the staff at Dr. Kassis' office is they always know who you are and make you feel welcome. Plus I always leave with free floss, mini toothpaste, and a toothbrush--who doesn't love free stuff!

I have been going to that dentist office for years when it was Dr. Dessureault's clinic. However, the last 2 times that I had appointments there (March 2025), I was made to wait an hour each time! I was left sitting in the waiting room and no one said anything to me. After a half hour, I approached the receptionist and asked how much longer I would have to wait. She said, Oh, the dentist had an emergency! I said, well I had an appointment scheduled and no one mentioned that he had an emergency and it was going to take long and it would have been appreciated if someone had mentioned it to me! She said well, it shouldn't be much longer. I waited again another half hour without anyone asking if I'd like to re-schedule. I had to once again approach the receptionist and asked if I should re-schedule. Then she said oh, yes, I think so, so we re-scheduled for the following week. The following week, I showed up 15 minutes early. I checked in. She said ok, it shouldn't be long. I said to myself, I am going to give them 15 minutes and if I'm not seen by then, I'm leaving. I waited and waited and even waited an additional 15 minutes, so 30 minutes in total and they still didn't call my name or give me any reason for the long wait once again! I just got up and left without saying anything. I never received an apology or a phone call to this day! I guess after all these years, I am not a valued customer!

A bridge Dr. Carys designed a few years ago is holding strong, and a recent dental implant (done by Dr. Carys in coordination with Argyle and Associates) is indistinguishable from my natural teeth. A big thank you to Dr. Carys for refusing to settle for "good enough" and recommending a custom colour appointment to get the crown colour exactly right.
