She has looked after my fillings including a cosmetic filling, root canals and crowns, a bridge, and made me teeth whitening trays over the years. She is a very patient, thorough clinician; she explains exactly what she is doing whether it be a crown installation or an oral exam. Every time I see the hygienist , Dr McKay examines me to ensure my teeth, jaws and soft tissue are all healthy! Tara, who manages the front desk is always very helpful with scheduling, insurance claims and other documents. Appointments times are well spaced, as I never have to wait very long, if at all. The hygienists working in Dr McKay's office are very gentle and considerate--I never worry about being uncomfortable under their care. I highly recommend Dr Allison McKay and her team!

I found myself on ODSP and thought no dentist will take care of me. I had recently been very sick and was spending a lot of time getting teeth removed by a dental surgeon. Needless to say I was becoming slightly depressed and less hopeful. I was not smiling like I used to, plus I was becoming quite self conscious. I finally gave up fighting all these uncommon feelings by telling myself to quit acting so pitiful and get my behind in gear to find a proper dentist that was approved by ODSP. A friend of mine who knew that I was looking for a special dentist referred me to a place on Carling Ave. that, as she said, was not too far from you. I said to her that even if I had to go to the other side of the city I would find a way!! She told me the address, 2199 Carling Ave.and his name was Dr. P.V. Nguyen. Had a rough time pronounceing his name but when I met the man he was way more than what I expected!! Here I was, with my walker for spinal issues, standing in this new dentist's office which is very open & airy talking with a fascinating woman who said that I would be taken care of shortly. WOW!! I thought...so far so good! He offered me an incredible dental chair that when I sat in it I felt like it was like nothing I have ever felt before! Special to say the least! I even began to wonder if this cost extra! I couldn't believe my luck, he also gave me some of that old laughing gas(nitrous oxide). Well that was the first day of something special for me... going back to this dentist has become an easy chore every time I return. Thanks to the Woodroffe Dental Care Center I am now a regular at this Dentist!!

I doubt that anyone really loves getting x-rays, blood taken, or any other lab work, so I won't…read morerave about how to business will change your mind. However, if you need to get medical tests done and are free between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. check this place out. The building is really clean and fairly new (it's located right near the Coliseum movie theatre) and I've never had to wait too long for service. The staff here are always really polite and efficient with me, but one thing that does rub me the wrong way is that the front desk staff always seem to be gossiping with each other. I get that work can be draining, but either be more quiet about it or wait till there's no clients around. Today, I only had to wait about 5 minutes to get my blood taken which was great. I was in and out in under 10 minutes (thank god...12 hour fasting makes me want to keel over). Don't forget to bring your requisition and your health card and it should be a pretty painless experience. I've also had x-rays and ultrasounds done here, and the technicians were lovely. They also do bone density tests and mammography. If you have to get this stuff done, might as well do it in a nice environment right?

How bizarre this is!!!! Absolutely don't recommend it to anyone. Don't get fooled by their ads of free dental and fav patient. All these ways to hijack your mind to make you pay like an idiot.
