We say goodbye to this awesome school. I am so glad my son has been able to call it home for the past 5 years. The IB Programme is one worth looking into and having your kids benefit from the community of a K-8 is great. The values of the learner profile are important and thanks to the PYP Programme (formerly at Wakeland EL) they have been instilled in my kids. I was an active participant in the SAC and PTO over the years and I appreciate all of the hard work these organizations do for the school. Leadership has changed three times, but all have done their best to improve the quality of education at the school. We will miss this school and the awesome staff! read more

Louise R. Johnson is K-8 is a SCHOOL OF INTERNATIONAL STUDIES located in Bradenton Florida. Their mission is to inspire students to achieve academic excellence, embrace global diversity, and become lifelong learners. This school is a great learning environment if you are familiar with IB programming. This school is pretty diversified, however the population is greater for Hispanic students at 44%, 32% White, 16% Black, 5% Asian, 3% other. The suspension rates are very small as it appears this administration and staff do a good job with student engagement. The current principal is Anthony Losada.
