My son and several other students attended Camp Bethany this past week. The experience for the…read moreteens was lifechanging. They each professed that they had dedicated their lives to Christ. The teenagers also spoke how it was the first time in their lives they felt that race was not a factor and every one was treated equally. They teens said they were treated like young men. They stated the entire time of their trip they did not use their phone and did not desire it. They boys were also sadden when it was time for them to leave, they was afraid that they would go back to their old ways! The club is very nice, we were treated so well and we did enjoy our time there. But it was quite a drive out there so we would go or I would go onlly 4 or 5 times a month, occasionally 6 times. The problem was, which upset me a lot, was when I got home each time from the club, I would jot down the cost of my meal and drink. The bill would come end of month and always was way more than it should have been. I would call, they would say sorry and next month was the same. There is no way they could do this month after month without the intention to shaft you. Six lunches instead of four, 2 dinners instead of one, 8 drinks instead of four. Every single month. I finally decided enough was enough and told them I was done, when I had joined, which was thousands of dollars, they said if we wanted to quit at any time we would get our money back. Now they said sorry, rules changed, club under new ownership, but when we see all our memberships, then you will get your money back. Oh ok. So a year later I pulled my file and they said we still have not sold all of our memeberships. And the next, I then asked how many more did they have to sell. They were not sure at the time. The next year, how many more, and they said the one you need to speak to is not here right now. Next, oh that information is not at hand. And then they sold again. And I gave up. Keep the damn money. Use it to fix up the golf course next time it floods and it does flood all the time. Just glad we never bought a house out there. Cannot imagine the horror that would have been. Lesson learned.Will never ever join anything like that again.

Great facility that I had the pleasure of experiencing for the first time at the 2018 IPSB Sporting Clay Event... The facility offers several disciplines from Skeet to Trap to Sporting Clays... The Sporting Clay course is compact and challenging... Really nice test of shooting skill The club offers shot shells should you find yourself low or needing to replenish your stock...Annual memberships run $200 plus 35 cents a clay for the discipline you choose to shoot...The club is open to the public and I'm not sure what fees one would face as a visitor...I would expect it to be reasonable so that the public would want to come shoot... I like the place and if I still lived in the area I would strongly consider becoming a member
