My experience would be unbelievable if it didn't happen. Seven years ago we bought new kitchen cabinets from Andy Foster. After one or two years of use, we experienced some lack of quality and I began calling the cabinet maker for some advice but never received an answer to my messages. I continued to call the cabinet supplier over the next several years with no satisfaction. Foster Kitchens designed and supplied the cabinets but didn't manufacture them, but Andy agreed that the quality should have been better. Since we dealt with Andy Foster, he made the problem go away, at his expense. We had three wood craftsmen working in our kitchen these past few days, one of which was Andy Foster, correcting someone else's poor workmanship. No matter whether a company is an IBM or a locally owned business, things don't always go 100% right. How those businesses correct the problems, is what makes the difference. they promised 6 weeks finished install. turned out 6 months…read more the paint on my island wipes off when cleaning. they installed hardware that was not what i chose and they fid not even have enough. it looked ridiculous!! i ordered hardware and they agreed to come back to install but instead providing new drawers or drawerfront they redrilled on same drawers. and there is a hole from pre-existing holes - the holes where they first decided to install on their own i was supposed to be reimbursed for hardware. that has not happened ( it has been five months) And custom... they made so many fixes, i dont believe they are custom. One corner cabinet had the side panel cut off and was glued/nailed to yhe sink cabinet.

Now I don't know about anyone else, but Id expect a "leather" recliner to last more than 3 1/2 years but not he case with ours. Within the first year the "leather" started peeling/breaking down and of course it was all due to consumer care according to Flex Steel but since it was within the 1st year of purchased it was repaired (not replaced) with new sections of material. About 5 months ago, the same thing started happening on the left side arm rest only much worse but this time because it was out of warranty, Flex Steel nor Dunk & Bright would not repair, replace or return for full credit. Through all this we discovered our "real" leather recliner is "bonded" leather. BIG difference and something that should have been brought to our attention at time of purchase. Now you may think its asking for a lot after 3 1/2 years to have this addressed with full coverage costs but honestly, do these two companies expect a customer to drop over $2,000.00 on a piece of furniture only to have the covering start breaking down after 3 1/2 years? I thought i was dealing with reputable companies but guess not. And as far as consumer care goes (our care), we purchased about 15 years ago an Ekrons Stressless "real" leather recliner and about 7 years ago a Natuzzi "real" leather recliner. To date absolutely NO issues or signs wear. Guess that's what happens when you purchase quality furniture from reputable companies. Never again Dunk & Bright or Flex Stee.

The crew was personable and clearly had work ethic and rapport with one another. After a truck trouble delay (not their fault) the 4 guys got right to work with Nate directing the furniture/box Tetris. They respected my belongings (wrapping delicate pieces and watching tight spots) and didn't complain about the stairs or heavy-ass Peloton bike. Loading up always takes longer but the team powered through and emptied the truck quickly at our destination. They even took a moment to celebrate my awesome new basement. Nate quoted me on the high end and came in under budget (which I appreciate much more than the reverse situation!). Have already recommended Mountain Movers to my network.
