Jessica is extremely knowledgeable, personable, funny, and clearly loves what she does. My daughter was so enamored with Jessica and her training that she and our lab, Korra, went through her therapy dog training with Rockingham Rec Center. My daughter now uses the training techniques and insights that she learned from Jessica on the dogs that we foster for local rescues. Adopted families are amazed and thrilled when they adopt a rescue dog that already knows basic commands and is leash trained. I do not hesitate to recommend The Balanced Dog to anyone who either needs help with their dog or wants to take their dog to a higher level of training. I trust this company so much that I recommend it to dog rescues when a dog needs some manners in order to be adopted.

We tried some other programs that helped a little bit, but nothing gave us the confidence that he really could be able to meet new dogs and new people and be ok. We recently had our first baby, and things got worse as he became depressed and disobedient. When Jessica came, she explained to us that how he acts has much to do with how we treat him and what we let him get away with. Within an hour of her being here and talking with us, our dog had met her two dogs and was walking around the neighborhood with Jessica and her dogs. We were amazed and very thankful. She gave us practical tools we could use with him to help continue what she had shown us. We greatly appreciated her big heart for dogs and her desire to see them become well adjusted members of their families. We highly recommend her!

We loved being able to follow Iggy's progress through daily reports, photos, and videos, which truly gave us peace of mind and showed just how much she was learning. The convenience of Skyline K9's door-to-door pick-up and drop-off service is a huge bonus, and made the entire process seamless. I highly recommend Malachi and Skyline K9 without hesitation, and I absolutely plan to board Iggy there in the future. Thank you for such an excellent experience!

I WAS LIED TO AND SOLD A DREAM. I hopped on the call with Malachi looking for a professional…read moreopinion, to agree with my delusional dream that they could help fix my dog who had already bitten 10+ people in my family. Unfortunately, for me, he fed into that delusional dream and happily took my $3000 and while on that call, he even promised a lifetime guarantee, only To say later, "that just means support not a refund if we can't help." Malachi, the Trainer feeding into my delusional dream of being able to live a happy life with my aggressive dog with Multiple bites history made me get 14 stitches and $5000+ hospital bill only 30 days later. I am most disappointed in Malachi's response to me reporting back to him that my dog had bitten me, he had no sympathy especially once I asked about the lifetime guarantee that we discussed on the phone. he quickly turned hostile and immediately started blaming me for the bite and saying I was the red flag for considering euthanizing My dog, at this point all he could offer me was a free I'm home consult to help me work through this with my dog. But how can you work through something like this when the dog has a history of 10+ bites that the Trainer knew of and attacking their own owner and sending them to the hospital when the owner is just petting him like he does every day. Malachi, the Trainer betrayed my trust, took Advantage of the little hope that I was looking now that Reality hit me, I realize that any real Trainer would've denied my dog for training given The severity of his bite history but he did not he took my money and fed into my delusional dream. Any honest, kindhearted Trainer or just any human wouldve sympathize for the owner and offer a full reimbursement for a failure on their part for taking on a challenge too big for them. The way Malachi the Trainer handled this whole situation was completely unprofessional demeaning me as a person, I want to give the world to my dog, but he questioned me and my integrity and my love for my dog when I have been doing nothing but what they said to do for My dog because I wanna see him have the best life he could have but unfortunately, that is not the reality and they fed into it and when Reality hit, they shifted tones. They said it was my fault. They took no responsibility and he had no sympathy. My warning to you as a dog lover if you have an aggressive dog, they will not solve that issue for you So if you're OK, doing a free consult with the dog that just bit you and sent you to the hospital this might be the place for you but beware he may bite you again and it's your fault every time

Since our pup had spent his entire life living in a kennel (and didn't know about grass, cars, walks, toys, peanut butter--anything!), we had our work cut out for us. And we're first-time dog owners, to boot. Tricia was recommended to us after I posted on a community Reddit page. She promised to be our one-stop shop for dog help, and she's more than lived up to her promise. Not only did she help us potty-train our one-year-old pup and teach him basic commands, but she's helped us with everything from figuring out doggy daycare, grooming, pet supplies, etc. We see her once a week at our house or at a public place and also answers tons of questions from us via text/email in between sessions. Not only is Tricia great with our pup (he ADORES her), but she's great with us, too. She's super professional and prompt, and is helping us gain confidence as new dog owners. I'd highly recommend her to anyone (and have already recommended her to several friends!).
