I went into Loved today to pick up my items that didn't get sold, this was my second interaction with the owner Isa. She had told me over the phone that they dont gather the un-sold items and that its up to me to come in and gather them. Np, just surprising because I have been consigning for years and every other place always gathered them for you. When I got there with my list I found all of my items except 1. I told Isa that I couldn't find it and she agreed to help only after giving me a dig "you have only been here 5 mins...etc". I realized her rudeness and attempt at insulting me so after that no words were passed between us. If this was first time she behaved with hostility I wouldn't be writing this. As a fellow woman, as a neighbor and as a small business owner, you need to check yourself before you interact with people. I like the store, I have purchased items and consigned but because of her behavior I wont be going there anymore. I am open to an apology if she wishes to do so. I will update if she does. BTW, I have interacted with her sales girl several times, she is lovely, professional and helpful. read more

1 star because it's a minimum requirement. Rude owner! Such terrible service and follow up communication. Myself and several friends will never shop or positively refer to this business again now with its 4th name change and location in Branford. No phone number, too! Originally, there were several owners that started up, as a fun resale outlet several years ago. The individual owner, now, is the rudest person that I have ever met. She has little understanding of how polite customer service should be conducted. I thought maybe she was having a bad day at her prior location the way she spoke to several people on the phone, in her place of business & with myself. Only to discover at her, yet, & next location & name change, that this must be her usual personality. After sharing my experience with others, I've learned that I am amongst quite a few ladies of the same opinion. read more

Loved Boutique is the best woman's shop on the shoreline! Prices for consigned items,as well as,new boutique items are more than reasonable and very affordable! Every size from 2 to 24...Isa, the owner is amazing! She is always willing to help you pick out what looks best on you ! It's like having your own personal shopping advisor! We stumbled on this store while waiting for an appointment at a nearby shop. The merchandise in the store (clothes and jewelry/accessories) was exceptional with good variety and great prices. It looks like the kind of place that would charge over-the-top prices because it has unique items, but that wasn't the case. Everybody in my group ended up buying something! On a side note, the people at the shop next door were nowhere to be found when our appointment time hit. We mentioned it to the people at Blush, and they went out of their way to contact the owners/employees at the shop where we had the appointment (they must have called 10 different people). This is a super cute store with interesting clothes/accessories/jewelry, and it is owned and run by real, nice human beings. Highly recommended! read more

While on a trip for a conference, my luggage gets lost and won't make it back to me until the end of the conference. Irritable and frustrated, my husband texts me this consignment shop. I pull in to find the BEST experience. This literally was the best part of my trip. The ladies were helpful. The clothes were adorable, clean and organized better than most department stores. The prices were perfect. This was the perfect therapy for my lost luggage. Great find!! read more

By far my favorite women's clothing store (consignment & non-consignment alike) EVER. So many varied and gorgeous name brands (some very rare) that it will make your head spin. Their inventory of new and 'like new' clothing is always changing. The clothing is always in fashion, unique, and REALLY AFFORDABLE! Just to name a few pieces I picked up from 'Loved' over the past year: a Dolan light olive green dress w/pockets for work or a night out-$16 (it retails for over $150-I looked it up), a gorgeous new light mauve long wrap dress (for my sister's upcoming wedding) $45 & beautiful 2" sandals $21 and new earrings and bracelet to match $15 (each), a summer dress w/bra built in 12$, my now favorite lightweight cotton striped shirt with a very complimentary neckline 20$.
