I've been wanting to get my locs crocheted since I could not do it myself. I started and have self maintained my own locs. I scheduled my appointment here and Lolita did an amazing job on my hair. From the wash to style, everything was perfect. I wasn't planning on getting a style and while she told me that my locs were healthy, she also explained that I needed to do a protective style to further protect my roots. My hair grows away from my locs, which is why I got the crotchet maintenance. I kept the 2 strand twists in for 3 weeks and just took them down to hopefully rock the twist out for 2 weeks. This will be the longest I have gone without washing my locs because I wash them 1-2 times per week. I will be returning to Lolita for my loc maintenance. read more

We don't trust them to touch her hair again and are so disappointed. At this point she's afraid adding anymore chemicals will damage her hair more, despite them saying otherwise. The woman was kind and she was kind in return, especially with her daughter there; however this doesn't make up for mutilating her hair. Sometimes people need to be able to say this is not our best and we messed up, sadly that did not happen. They even tried to convince her this was similar to the picture requested, which is laughable. Best of luck to the ladies there. And beater luck to those of you going to your hair done!

The highlights were poorly done, not light snd bright and because my hair is thick some are not even visible! 2 shampoos later and I am upset because I am going on vacation next week and came in specially to get bright highlights put in. They also did corrective color on reddish color that was put on by a previous salon. The red still came thru after a few washes. Looking for a better salon in another area. The only good thing I can say is my haircut was okay and they took off charges for the horrible mess they made out of my hair.

We landed on Ten Ten based on a few factors, one being location to where we were already. The shop is good size, bright, open and very clean. We walked in, were immediately sat and off we went. We went with the Coffee Me Pedicure and Pamper Me Manicure. Combined pricing put us at $84/each. The manicure pricing is in line with what I have experienced at other spots, but they think a bit more of their pedicures and that is reflected in the prices. Were they worth it? Yes and no...the pedicure was solid, but comparing our services, which were the exact same and started at the same time made it a bit odd as mine lasted about 10 minutes longer than my dad's. For me, I appreciated this, but for him, his tech seemed a bit rushed. Still did good work. As with most spa's, they do offer drinks during your treatment. They should refill the offerings on the tray though, as all the "good" drinks were taken before they got to us, just leaving little room temp waters. Not a big deal, but just a small touch. Our tech's were friendly and did good work overall. Pricing was a bit steeper than I would have liked, so this place would not be a regular spot, but maybe one for a special treat, which is what this day was. Overall, solid place in a good location.
