My Daughter used Lovlee for her wedding. Well the company didn't follow through on most things, and my daughter paid plenty and didn't skimp. The photographers were not the ones she was told who would do the shoot. They seemed very much in a hurry to leave and not very professional. I personally had to adjust clothing on several of the wedding party when they were about to take a picture. Honestly many of my phone photos were better. Not sure if this was a just a fluke but I don't think so because when she asked for a partial refund they said no and wouldn't even talk about it. Travis said all the right things from the start, but didn't follow through, was unprofessional and left out important details. From the start I had said I wanted scenic Mountain View family portraits. We had family come in from three states, 13 people total. To get everyone together was special, so we wanted photos. The initial location Travis suggested was too far for some on my family. He then suggested another location and said it would be a great place for a session. Why wouldn't I think it had scenic Mountain View's after I stressed how much I wanted that. We got there and Travis searched for 15 minutes for a place to take photos. Why wasn't he prepared? Why did he suggest this place? Then the photos were chaos. He didn't suggest poses (like he said he would) or help gather the kids (again, like he said he would) and we didn't capture the sunset (like he said he would) because of the terrible location. Then I get the photos. They don't look great. We took photos on a tee box (golf) and there were divots everywhere. Why didn't he edit those out? He said he would send edited photos. So when I asked him to edit them, he made me feel guilty. Like it was my fault. But he was suppose to send me EDITED photos. Then , this is the ridiculous part... the photos were only on the website for 20ish days to choose before he charged you for keeping them on there for longer. WHAT?! That was never discussed and I'm still laughing how ridiculous that is. I just paid a hefty fee for photos and you want to nickel and dime me... absolutely not. Lastly, I asked him if he can edit a small red mark over one of my family members faces (5 photos) and he wanted to charge me $7 per photo. He messed up the location, sent me unprepared photos and created stress during the session, and he couldn't have said - no problem, let me do this for you to try and make things better. Nope- very money hungry. If you want your photographer to show up in sweats, unprepared, don't suggest poses and want to take a lot of your money. He's your guy. read more

Signed up for a wedding photo shoot, A usual professional you find in any of these businesses asks for half down. unfortunately they wanted the full amount which is not a practice used if you do any consulting of your research, we paid trhe full amount. The date was set. It so happened Bryan was diagnosed with cancer, which always sounds suspicious to any professional. It's often used to get money out of them; we even provided a doctor's written situation. The day could possibly be changed in 6 months. We simply asked for half back, a normal professional aspect with the photographers; after all, they do book up. often keeping half. We never got anything back. He and his wife are a scam. I do not recommend hiring Lovelee Photography. We initially hired Travis and his team because the photos they market on their website and social are really good and their packages came at a relatively affordable price. Unfortunately the final delivery of our photos and video, as well as the process as a whole, fell short of our expectations. Emails leading up the wedding sometimes felt hasty, with missed details I needed to repeat multiple times and typos. For example, we wanted to add an extra hour of photography time and that had to be clarified multiple times. He also wanted to move the cake cutting to a time that didn't work for us and we had to correct it multiple times. During our wedding day, Travis was friendly and accommodating, but there were times when we wondered where he and his team went. We assumed that they would be there the entire time waiting to snap photos of candid moments, but we had to track them down on at least one occasion. Travis was also vaping during the shoot, which I thought was unprofessional. We felt like they cut corners in the photo editing. We did receive some really great ones, but there were many that looked unedited. Some were blurry, others had people's eyes closed, there power lines and equipment in others that could have easily been edited out. There were several with the photographers shadow in the picture. The album cover was me by myself, which was an odd choice. And there were some planning errors that didn't allow them to get all of the best shots of important moments. My wife spent hours after we received them re-editing many of the photos. The video did have some redeeming qualities, but the sound was shotty at times and there were amateur transitions. And they put the WRONG WEDDING DATE in the video. If that doesn't tell you how lazy the editing was, I don't know what will. Travis will pass this review off as us "being difficult". I genuinely think we were easy going. The only times we were demanding was in the discussion about the photography timeline for our wedding day. We were demanding because he kept removing moments that were important to us. We ended up going with our timeline (not his) and the day worked out great. We did give Travis the opportunity to fix this situation. We clearly laid out all of our concerns, including file names and timestamps. We asked for a re-edited video and some re-edited photos, or a re-edited video and a partial discount on the photos. He declined, saying that my wife was upset because there was a camera bag in the way which told him we were going to be difficult. He concluded his email by saying "best of luck with married life". For someone who is entrusted to capture the most special day of your life, I'd assume they would take a more customer-first approach. read more

This employer, Travis, has wasted so much of my time, I have to leave reviews now. I am a professional videographer / photographer working in real estate, weddings, events, and e-commerce product photography. I have applied to Lovelee Photography 2x. Both times, this Employer sets up interviews, then reschedules multiple times until he cannot reschedule anymore. Then he proceeds to ghost me and without messaging me anything, cancels the onboarding interview and nothing else. I don't get an email back, no text back, no call. I have definitely called, emailed and texted him though. This last time he set an interview for 6pm, then rescheduled for 7:30, then rescheduled again without consulting me for 8:30-9pm. I waited and waited, entered the zoom chat, he never messaged me to tell me he was going on there. THEN HE GHOSTS ME. I wasted so much time on this dude and his mediocre company. Must be why he has such a turnaround with employees. DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

I had the most amazing time working with Travis (Lovelee Photography). I loved the interactions I had before booking, determining the photoshoot location, and on the day of the photoshoot. Travis made my vision for the bachelorette shoot a reality! He was extremely communicative, friendly, and went above and beyond for every aspect of the experience. The day of the shoot it was 100 degrees outside. My bridesmaids and I were, being from MD, not prepared for the dry heat. I had large sweat stains on my dress and my makeup had faded. Still Travis was hilarious and he made me have a ton of fun during the shoot. He also found ways to strategically hide/minimize the stains. He used the natural landscape to take the most vibrant photos. He made my bridesmaids and I look and feel so beautiful! I know I'm going to treasure the photos we took, always. read more

She literally went in, edited her original comment to reflect what Travis was actually wearing. Look out people. This is some shady stuff going on. I am so flabbergasted right now, but really it lines up completely with their practices. The other picture posted is of the same review I posted on facebook, and her ORIGINAL reply, which was also yelp's original reply...Seriously people go elsewhere. The photo wasn't added to show anything except how Travis was actually dressed, as I added in my initial review. Jenna was very confident in portraying how things "actually" occurred, down the brand and color of shirt worn. This picture and addition is not to nit-pick on outfit choice, it was honestly the least of our concerns, but rather, it's to show how Lovelee photography will lie. Honestly, the photos I got were satisfactory, but i just don't want anyone else to deal with a company that says one thing to your face, writes things in contracts, and delivers/does/lies about something else. Everything else with our wedding went off without a hitch, and those vendors got excellent reviews, but simply dealing with Lovelee and feeling so out of the loop was not a fun experience. They like to use catch phrases in response to their negative reviews like "a company who prides themselves on client service" and "we will ALWAYS be there for you," unless you catch the owner in his lies and he blocks you on Facebook and asks you not to return to their events. The Santa event has potential, but the snooty attitude of the owner takes away a lot of the magic. If you inquire about where your pictures are that you paid to be expedited, you are labeled a problem and blamed. The customer is never right here. They will fabricate a scenario to save face and blame you and only you. After that, they will ask you not to return (even though you were respectful despite his disrespect), block you on Facebook, and continue responding to other negative reviews with more lies. The owner has a big head about himself and how wonderful he is, at the expense of putting the customer down and losing that customer plus all those she recommended to them in the past. Try to see through their responses to their negative reviews. They will say anything to save face, while still using the image of the child no longer invited back to see Santa in their advertising. DON'T HESITATE - JENNA IS THE BEST!!! I worked with Jenna for boudoir photos, and I cannot recommend her enough. I have an undergrad degree in photo and dabbled in it professionally and boudoir was always my favorite, so I knew it would be hard for me to find someone I would be comfortable with and could deliver the quality I was looking for. Jenna not only did that, but she also did so at an amazing value. My goal with this review is to not only tell you all the reasons Jenna is worth it, but also let you know what my experience was like so you can feel normal if you feel the same things! I am severely insecure and have always struggled substantially with my confidence. These photos were a way to thank my husband for helping me fight that monster and to celebrate my own growth in loving myself, but that did NOT mean it was easy. I was incredibly nervous, in fact I think this all meant I was even more anxious and second-guessing. I had my makeup professionally done - something I HIGHLY recommend and while I was happy with getting lashes (ladies, just do it, I promise) I was nervous that the rest wasn't "me" enough and that it wasn't going to look natural. And wow wow wow Jenna whisked all that nervousness right away. Here's how: -She asked me questions and got to know me to get a feel for the shoot -She very quickly assessed and understood how to make my face and body look good -She joked around with me and made me feel comfortable -She related to me -She directed me in a clear and concise way, and immediately figured out what flattered me -She was honest when it didn't flatter me! She'd say things like "No no, not like that, you look like the exorcist," and we'd laugh, and I'd know what she meant and how to change it. This also let me know she wasn't BS-ing me when she said things looked good -She let me call some shots but also led me or told me when something wouldn't work -She's creative and works with what she has AMAZINGLY. She's willing to try stuff -She's not awkward about the fact that you're basically naked in front of a stranger: She asks before touching or moving stuff and is kind of like a massage therapist in a "undress to your comfort level" kind of way Immediately after our session finished I felt serious buyers-remorse-anxiety and was terrified they wouldn't turn out well or my makeup wasn't quite right or I forgot an important pose or something! And it was all for nothing, because let me tell you, the photos are amazing. My husband loved the photo book I made (I used Shutterfly and was very impressed). He really liked that Jenna was able to communicate a creative, tasteful, and sophisticated feeling while still shooting true boudoir. Start to finish, working with Jenna was a dream come true. I wouldn't have been able to feel positively about this experience, no matter how good the photos were, if she hadn't been so awesome. We hired Travis to do our wedding photos and then added on engagement photos as well. The issue came with the engagement photos. We decided to reserve time at a venue we loved for the photos and had the photo start time set for noon. We arrived at 11:40 so we could chat with him and have a plan ready for this one hour shoot. Unfortunately, Travis did not even pull into the parking lot until 12:15. Usually not a big deal if it wasn't a paid venue and we try to be understanding. However, he also showed up dressed in sweatpants and despite him claiming to be familiar with the venue, we had to lead him around and he didnt have any spots picked out. On top of that, both Travis and I had to sign a contract with the venue agreeing not to move any furniture items, pull, tug, damage, or step on plants or doors/windows. There were more rules than this but these were the ones he outright disregarded. He, on several occasions, very aggressively shoved on delicate vintage doors, he yanked on small delicate plants and he dragged an iron chair across the ground leaving a big gouge in the flooring. This made my fiance and I pretty uncomfortable. He was also not paying attention to the time as we went and we had to stop him at some point to say we need to go pay for more time if we're going to stay. He said he'd handle it and went to try and negotiate more time for free. While this may have been in our interest, the venue had made it very clear up front they didn't do that. He then paid for the extra half hour without talking to us and came out and told us we were splitting it with him. Being short on time we didn't feel like this was even up for a discussion despite the fact that we wouldn't have needed it if he'd been on time or early and we'd had a plan. He also called my fiance by the wrong name 3-4 different times and put the wrong name on our photo gallery when he sent it later. When I brought this up he tried to argue and say it only happened once. We also didn't see any photos as we were shooting so we couldn't correct issues with hair/clothing as we went. This resulted in my bra being visible in at least 10 photos. When I brought this up to Travis he offered for me to pay for corrections at a 'reduced rate' but didn't specify the amount. While it seems nice, it also felt unnecessary to correct something he easily could have noticed at the time. If you take all these issues independently, they are absolutely no big deal. But when put together, they resulted in my fiance and I just not feeling confident in his professionalism for our wedding day. When we reached out to see if we could cancel and get our retainer back in any way, the real issue presented itself. Travis claims he is the best out there. He repeatedly told me I would not find anyone better and sent back to back emails reiterating the same ideas. He seemed clearly upset and eventually moved on to telling us we will never find someone we're satisfied with as our expectations are unreasonable. Even if these are your thoughts, that's not something you should say to customers. The more I tried to talk with him the more unreasonable he got. We might have been happy to stick with him if he had been understanding of our concerns or even respectful but his responses were frantic, disrespectful, and full of excuses or justifications for why our concerns were unreasonable. Go elsewhere if you want to be confident you wont be dealing with this type of situation read more

I was pretty disappointed in their lack of professionalism. All my email correspondence before our wedding was with Travis, we had a Skype conversation with Travis and Jenna, and I expected Travis and Jenna to show up that day. Unfortunately, Jenna showed up with another woman and Travis never came. I was told there was "a family emergency" - okay, this was disappointing, but it still could have turned out well. Then I learned they didn't have the shot list I emailed to Travis a month before. There's a reason I took the time to create that - I knew I wouldn't remember in the moment, and I didn't, so there are many photos I wanted that I ended up not getting because they didn't bring that list: 3 generations of women (grandma, mom, and me), my husband and me and our dog - any family photos outside the standard ones of bride and groom's parents were missed. Pros: they were flexible on how long they would come, willing to do less than 6 hours Cons: not bringing the shot list and so not getting the photos I wanted, not getting any pictures of us at the alter without the priest in the middle of us, not getting any photos of my family that didn't look really awkward because they kept making my mom put her hand on my arm, not communicating with me after the wedding about when the photos would be ready, what felt like lots of standing around before the ceremony with just one of them taking pictures instead of one person taking the staged photos and the other one getting pictures of our guests inside I wasn't going to write a negative review, but they sent me an email asking me to review them, so here it is. read more

Throughout the entire process they were helpful, responsive, kind and just so easy to work with. My now husband and I have been working with Lovelee since the summer of 2019 when we booked them for our October 2020 wedding. We did an engagement shoot with Travis in December of 2019 and couldn't have been happier with the entire experience! Lovelee helped with recommendations on where to do our engagement photos (we ended up going with the Phoenician, which I highly recommend!), provided us with a styling guide and knew all the best places to get some amazing shots. Due to Covid and all the uncertainty surrounding it, we ended up rescheduling and ultimately cancelling our dream wedding, but were still able to do a wedding photo shoot with Travis earlier this month and.. Just wanted to say that the dispute over the $500 deposit we gave Travis and Jenna before THEY canceled our contract for our wedding was never resolved. And despite Travis' lies to the contrary, they never made any attempt to resolve the matter or refund any portion of our deposit. How they got the current high ratings with this lack of professionalism is beyond me. As usual Travis' reply to this review was filled with lies. There were never any threats made. Also their contract stated that they could cancel and keep the deposit ONLY after a warning to do so. No warning was ever given. Also that was supposed to be something that could occur at our event. They canceled over a phone call months prior to the event that ended with Jenna assuring my husband that everything was fine. If you want your once in a lifetime wedding photos to sit in a landfill due to a negligent company, this is the one for you. Here is the basic run down of our experience with Lovelee for our wedding on November 16th 2019. -We got the Platinum package & paid $3271.91. -Showed up late on the day of the wedding by 30 min. -Jenna did not want to be in the room taking photos while I was putting on my dress -Travis & Jenna wandered off numerous times throughout the day. My MOH had to track them down each time -Travis & Jenna were bickering with each other numerous times throughout the day. SO bad that more than 20 of my guests approached me about how uncomfortable it was. -Our venue had multiple photography locations. When we told Travis that we wanted some pictures in these locations, he detoured us by saying it'll take longer to get over there (it was 200 yards or less away) & that they have enough. -8 weeks, we received our link to our wedding photos -After reviewing the pictures, we noticed a lot of missing pictures from before the wedding (Bride getting ready, putting dress on, Bride & bridesmaids or flower girls, Bride & mothers & NO detail shots). -The pictures we did receive were good but not to the quality I was expecting. Lots of details that a photographer should notice, they did not (hair sticking up, jewelry stuck in hair, train not fluffed etc.) -We emailed Jenna asking about the missing photos & she responded that there was an SD card error with her camera. She told us they had 1 recovery company look at the card & they could not retrieve anything but they were sending the card out to another company -After that email, my husband called Travis. Travis then told us that they took the card to Geek Squad & they are not sending the card to another company but instead sending their camera into the manufacturer. We advised Travis of a company we found that is very prestigious in data recovery, Drive Savers. He told us that after the camera came back we could talk about utilizing that company. -10-11 weeks after the wedding, Travis informed us that the camera manufacturer came back & it was an SD card slot issue. Travis offer to send us all the raw photos & we can look through them to see if there was any additional photos that might fill in the gaps. -We received the flash drive on 2/11. I looked through the pictures & the photos I was looking for were not there. -We got in contact with Travis & asked if we could have the SD card because we would send it into Drive Savers to try & recover ANY pictures. Travis told us that they THREW AWAY the SD card! -After that, it was time to talk about a partial refund. We got in contact with our Videographer & he said he could produce 40 photos from the video for $400. -We emailed Travis all of our info, including about having to pay our videographer & reasoning behind the $1200 we were asking for. He emailed back within minutes, no but $525 & an album. We declined the album because we just wanted to be done with all of this & we asked for the $150 on top of the $525. Travis agreed on the additional $150 instead of the album. -Lovelee sent $525 us via Venmo. Missing the $150, we emailed Travis asking for the $150 & he did not respond. As of 5/5, Travis & Jenna have not given us the $150 additional that was agreed upon nor have we received a response. This company & these people are negligent. If we could go back to pick any other photographer, we would. read more

Travis and Jenna photographed our wedding on New Year's Day 2016! My fiancé-at-the-time and I decided to have a short engagement of 7 weeks because - well, why not? We were certainly ready to start life together, but we have family scattered across the country and our stomping grounds of Chicago are not exactly the ideal location for a destination wedding for them. With most my family on the east coast and his' family on the west coast, we settled on Scottsdale for our special day. We had no time to waste, so we turned to Yelp and Trip Advisor to plan everything (I know there are some brides cringing at the thought of this - but it worked like a charm!). Upon reviewing LoveLee's site and testimonies as well as their Yelp shout outs, we decidedly booked them. We had one call and a questionnaire, and that was it. -That's all we had time for! Jenna shared they typically have a much more involved process that involves meeting one-on-one and an engagement photo session, but we didn't have that luxury because of our self-inflicted deadline, and they rolled with it. They were incredibly flexible with us on discussing their photo packages, showed up earlier than scheduled for our wedding day, and stayed later than scheduled to ensure all the magic was captured. Throughout our portrait process, they stretched themselves creatively and collaboratively to get that special shot that every couple hopes to have and to hold - or blowup to a life size canvas because it's so beautiful. Well, we got that and more! Our photos, which arrived just 5 weeks after the wedding, are stunning. We haven't even printed ONE yet because we can't decide which we like best - with the exception of one. One particular portrait captures my husband and me leaning against a tree as he holds me with the most gorgeous sunset cast as our backdrop; that one... that one will be a canvas as big as I can get it. We found Travis and Jenna on Yelp and on short notice, since we did not have much time in town, as my fiancé and I travel quite a bit and had to squeeze our photo shoot in. We were a bit concerned at first, but they made us feel very comfortable and delivered some great photos after. A few weeks ago I booked a boudoir photo shoot with Lovelee Photography. I'm still in shock by how awful the experience was. I truly hate to write negative reviews, but this one is warranted. Prior to the shoot, Jenna sent so many kind emails talking about how fun the shoot would be and how we would make it such a blast and a little party. She sent a very descriptive email detailing "tips," which impressed me originally. When I arrived to their house, Jenna (one of the owners) had me change into one of my three lingerie outfits I brought for the shoot. I got changed and put on my outfit, obviously feeling uncomfortable because it's an awkward experience! She then asked me where I was getting married and I told her. She goes on to say that my wedding venue has been contacting her company, trying to have them come on contract with them as one of their options for their wedding package. She then says that many brides have contacted her to be their wedding photographer who are getting married at my venue because they had issues with one of the photographers. I asked her if it was my wedding photographer, and she said yes. She said my wedding photographer didn't show up on time to a wedding which ruined the entire timeline. She then spoke negatively about my wedding venue and continued to talk negatively about my photographer. Keep in mind, my wedding is in 6 months and I can't change my photographer even if I wanted to. So now I'm freaking out and in a bad mood hearing all this- before the shoot even starts!!!! So we start the shoot and it doesn't get better. The entire shoot was, *click click click* "beautiful. Okay, next outfit." I felt like a porn star hired to do a modeling job rather than a bride paying $300 for sexy, fun photos. Also, in between pictures, she would look at her phone throughout the shoot. She didn't tell me what she was doing, and it made me very uncomfortable. She didn't tell me until towards the end of the shoot that she was on her phone looking up poses for me to do throughout the shoot. Ummm... if she has as much experience as she says she does, why does she need to look up poses for me to do? She was also texting/calling her husband throughout the shoot. She didn't guide me at all, she didn't tell me to move my hair or do something different to make the pictures more flattering. Which is shown in the pictures that I'm not very impressed with. I look legitimately pissed in several of them, and no kidding, she put me in a terrible mood from the start! But here's the best part- I called my wedding venue to discuss the issues Jenna mentioned. One of the owners of my wedding venue assured me that my wedding photographer has never received any complaints, and that if she did, she would be taken off contract. So basically, Jenna made this entire thing up to poach my business. She not only made me incredibly uncomfortable for several days saying all these things, but she made my boudoir session awful telling me this before the session started. I hope other photographers read this review and take caution around these people. They are shady and use slander to try and poach clients. I also hope that other girls read this and don't choose this company to do their boudoir shoot. I'm shocked these people have won awards because the funniest thing about it is that my wedding photographer is way more talented than this company and I would never choose someone who conducts themself in such an unprofessional and amateur manner to photograph my wedding. read more

Well here we are a month away waiting and hearing that refund had already been sent back to us. We gave this couple $500 and after a call expressing concern, complete with an attitude early on and using bad language , we were put off once again. Then we were told by email that, " oh I was just going to email you and send you your $500 back"... they never did. All their blogs are from relatives and not actual clients. We were told even after receiving an erroneous email from a former employee, that we would be getting some resolve, they said they'd be calling the police; yeah sure. And they'd be explaining how they never sent us our money back. As a vested interest, $500 isn't all that much but surely one might think twice about using these people to cover their wedding. And don't fall for the special needs child as they tel you about , that's just to garner sympathy. I guess it was really worth it taking $500 from us, but others will read this and maybe go elsewhere. Good luck to you, you'll need it. The difference between you people and our current photographer is like night and day. Thanks for being liars, it worked out well for you. read more
