I went in yesterday (Tuesday) to inquire about pricing and scheduling for a pedicure. The gal wasn't particularly friendly. However, she offered me an appointment that evening at 5 or 5:30pm. I declined as I was already booked. I told her I was looking for something tomorrow (Wednesday). She offered me 12:30pm tom (Wednesday). I gave her my information and left happy (despite her demeanor of being inconvenienced) for an appointment that fit my timeframe (as I had a doctors appointment the next day - Thursday). Showed up on time, she's doing a manicure and lets out a huge sigh. Asks my name, talks to co-worker and tells me that I don't have an appointment today. Co-worker looks at the schedule and tells me I'm booked for Thursday at 12:30pm. I explain that I booked with her yesterday, for today. She proceeds to get angry at me and argue that I'm booked for tomorrow. They offer me an appointment for this evening (Wednesday). I declined because I have work. At this point, I've decided that I'm spending zero pennies with this business. I told them, thank you, I'll go somewhere else. It's unfortunate, because I really needed a pedicure before my doctor's visit tomorrow. But, if your customer service is this terrible, it doesn't matter how great your work is. 10/10 do NOT recommend. Zero stars if that were an option. read more

So....we hadcan appointment for 12:45 today. 1 mani/ pedi, 1 pedi. We arrived at 12:40. There were no ZERO customers in the shop The man came out from the back room and said " you wait 5 minutes while we eat lunch"! So we sat down and waited 10 minutes while he and a female leisurely chatted and ate, while ignoring the paying customers!!! We left! This is a cash only business. They take regular, locals only. I've tried a few times to come here but I'm tired of feeling like an inconvenience. Pedicures are minimal at best, there's zero spa aspect to them. Pay $60 for a full set of nails and don't expect a hand massage or anything. Everything is filthy! Who inspects salons here?!?! There are no other salons in this area. I swear this is the only reason why this husband and wife couple keep their business. It's heartbreaking- they could be great. read more

Visiting my friend from out of state and we wanted to go get a pedicure. We walked in yesterday and they informed us it was by appointment only. I called them later in the day to make an appointment. The gentleman on the phone informed me they only take "regular customers" but if we were sure we were going to show up, then he would take us. He asked me about 5 times if we were sure we were going to come in for our appointment. That should've been my first sign to not go here. But they are the only nail salon in the area we are staying. My friend and I arrived to the salon 10 mins before our appointment time. It was only the man working in the salon by himself and he was working on someone else, one of his "regulars". I heard him charge her $30. When it came to my friend and I, he asked if we wanted the $45 or $55 pedicure. We chose the $45. There is no signage with pricing or anything explaining what is included for that price. Worst pedicure I've ever received. He barely clipped my nails down, did not work on my cuticles or dig anything out, did not file my nails, BARELY scrubbed my feet, no masks for your feet or scrubs for your legs (usually these are included in such an expensive pedicure), a very rough leg massage, and gel polish. It only took him about 15-20 mins to complete our pedicures. He ripped us off for not being "regulars", that is very clear. We ended up paying for it and leaving, but just wanted to warn anyone from out of the area about how they treat customers who aren't their regulars. read more

When you're limited for places to go get a pedicures, you do a little research. This place has some negative reviews but I decided to give it a try. Even though they try to take care of walk-ins, they are normally pretty busy, especially being that it's summer and nice weather. So I made an appointment ahead of time. I showed up early and they knew who I was and got started immediately. The massage chairs are comfortable and they always make sure the water temperature is good for you. I do the Spa pedicure because I like the extra massaging and masks. I have an ingrown toenail on one big toe and they have fixed it both times (it's been dealt with twice by a podiatrist). They have a nice variety of colors and the staff are pleasant. They will hold small conversations with you, but when they are busy it's all business- and that's ok too. I've already scheduled my third appointment with them. Now I don't have to drive an hour each way anymore. Just 10 minutes. read more

I have bandaids on my hands right now as I'm typing this review. I went in with regular length natural nails and requested short, square nails, and while they were clipped shorter as requested, they were then shortened to an uncomfortably short length with the file (and not the right shape). The color is jagged on the edges of my nails, but the biggest thing I'm frustrated about is the un functional short length. For anyone wanting to get their nails done here please never ask for shorter nails. read more

The guy who answered the phone said he was about to close but to come in in and he would do my nails. He was so nice and gracious. He has strong hands and my pedicure was lovely. Three of my gel nails broke while on vacation. Lovely Nails was the only place that took walk ins. BIG mistake! I asked if they would use a drummel and was told yes. Lady began ripping the gel off my nail (and part of my nail). Told her to stop and she had a fit and said she would not help me. Duc said he would soak and grind the gel off. A male said something to him and took over. He ripped my thumb nail off making it bleed. He said grinding would take too long and I should not watch as he started to rip off another nail. I pulled my hand away and got up to leave. Duc took me to his station and soaked and ground the gel off. Duc was the only one who treated me like a person and did what he could without causing as much pain as possible. Be cautious if you go here! read more

She did an amazing job, and was a delight to get to know. She is very sweet, and extremely professional. I do not have a problem with the fact that they are by appointment only. Justin did a full set of acrylic nails. "Pink and white" are what they are called. White at the top of the nail and clear pink tone at base. He did a great job since I prefer not to have a thick white on a French nail look. I also got a pedicure. Prices are very reasonable and I think he did a great job on my nails that are not the easiest of a base shape to start with. I would recommend him. read more

My dtr and I walked in at 1230 pm to try to get a walk in. They said not until 100 pm. I said okay and gave them our phone no. I told them that I would call them if there was a problem. I ended up not being able to take that 100 pm appt. and I cancelled it so they wouldn't wait for us. The man that answered the phone got mad and short with me for cancelling. 55 for gel nails is what I was charged even though I was told it would be 45. That was fine. When the man did my nails, he seemed very stressed and irritated. When he filed them, he didn't hold my nail down so my nails all really hurt all day after they were done. I was very polite to him and tried to make small talk but he was very short with me and irritated when I would ask him to correct something as he was doing my nails. I let him "surprise" me with the design he did on my nails. I didn't really like it but I didn't want to say anything as to offend him since he was already so stressed. I have been twice to this business for a pedicure. The first visit was terrible. The male technician did a terrible job. He didn't trim my toenails straight and he smeared and smudged my polish in several places. The experience was rushed through. I decided to give the business another try with a different techician. I got a woman technician this time but the experience was no better. She rushed through the process as quickly as possible. She smudged the polish on one toe with her blouse. When I asked her to fix it, instead of redoing the polish, she put another coat on top of the smudge and you can still see the smudge. I have polish smears all over my toes. I will never go back to this establishment. Worst two experiences ever! read more

Every time I get a fill Nancy, does the absolute best job I have ever seen. I am a hair artist and been gettin my nails done for 15 years and she by far is the only gal who can keep these bad boys on!!! The other people there are funny and try their best to make all happy. These other reviews who say they got a crappy experience maybe don't know how to say it to their technician. If I ask for something different, they will always change and make it the best they can. The dry sanitizer they uses called an autoclave, and tattoo artist use this for maximum sanitation. I have never had any infection and or bad experience here. If your unhappy, speak up, but I will always refer my customers and friends to this establishment. read more

I guess I'm used to other salons' levels of hygiene, because I was horrified to see that the instruments were not soaking in quats (glass jars of sterilized fluid) and then he pulled the cuticle clippers out of a dusty basket. People, All of these things are EXPECTED when getting a nail service..Please be cautious and informed. There are state regulations for these rules. 1.Clean and disinfected/sanitized implements and equipment 2. NO cross contamination. (Things must be cleaned disinfected/sanitized before they are used on the next person). 3. Safety precautions for the public and the nail tech. I get regular mani/pedis and this may be the very worst spa I have ever been to. I took my mom and 2 nieces and we all got manicures and pedicures. The bored and disaffected technicians whipped through each service as fast as they could, no massage, no pumice - just the absolute bare minimum. The products are poor quality and the man who I worked with proceeded to dilute the polish w/ acetone. Note to self, always bring my own colors to a salon like this. I asked for a pink french manicure, he said no problem and proceeded to do a regular clear and white french which I did not want. Lots of smudges and missed spots, which he had no interest in cleaning off. All of our manicures did not last the day. Worst part is the outrageous prices they charge - $55/mani pedi is ridiculous. This was the worst pedicure I have ever had and the rudest manager I have ever encountered. The pedicure took 20 minutes only- the attendant did not throughly scrub my feet , I had to tell him what to do and he massaged my legs and feet for only 3 secs- so when I was drying my toe nails there was a sign that said if I was not happy with the service to tell the manager- I talked to supposedly the manager and told him that I was from Portland and this was not an acceptable pedicure- he yelled at me said I was rude and said they do pedicures differently in North Idaho- he told me to pay, (my toes were not even dry )leave the salon and never return. read more
