The table was one of the most comfortable I've experienced, and the ambiance of the treatment room is modern yet cozy. There is a hair salon nearby, but when the door closes, you are taken away to relaxation land. I trust Kristin to give me the best treatments and make the best suggestions on my at-home regimen (I really do love Dermalogica), because she takes my sensitive skin and health history seriously when treating my skin. She is the only esthetician who can successfully coax out my blackheads. I received an excellent dermaplaning during the facial, and I had a milia-type of thing on my chin, and she took care of that too. The massage was awesome! Her prices are fair and reasonable as well. Initially intending to continue IPL treatments, I was persuaded to try this new peel that was marketed as gentle and convenient with no downtime. I found no reviews online regarding this product and put my trust in the personnel working in the Medispa at Spargo. There were four sessions spaced a week apart. Despite following all post-treatment instructions--applying the recommended Factor 5 facial mask to soothe my skin and maintain hydration--I encountered significant problems. Rather than seeing healthier, rejuvenated skin, I developed large red spots and severe dryness after each peel. I was told my face would look so much better after a week or two. The discomfort was substantial, and even with additional application of lotion and Aquaphor, my skin's condition worsened. Makeup failed to conceal the marks and I was told after the 3rd treatment that I needed to do 4 even though I planned on stopping due to the effects on my face. Although Spargo refunded the cost of my final treatment, the damage is more than when I started. I was hoping to get rid of age/sun marks on my face this product was terrible for me.

My daughter has a flight into town earlier that day and explained she'd only miss if flight was delayed which would be beyond her control. The woman she spoke with treated her with sass and then transferred to owners who only confirmed that they could easily fill that appointment with someone else. I guess customer loyalty means nothing. In addition, my other daughter says at a recent appointment, the stylists discuss price of other clients' services while they are doing her hair. That is very unprofessional. Also, she witnessed a customer with a "known last name" in the area wanted a last minute appointment and they moved heaven and earth to make it happen. A more common name doesn't carry weight even though we've been loyal. Well not anymore. My daughter is a dentist and they don't even charge a deposit for missed appointments.
