What might set them apart is the quality of the items they sell. Everything I saw was well-cared for. It's not a junk store but because of the number of things they have here, it can look junky. I'm sure there's a method to how the store is laid out, but some sections blur the lines and that means you really will be on a treasure hunt. It doesn't matter though because it's a fun store to browse. It's cash-only business, so that helps keep costs under control, but does require planning if your preference is using plastic to buy. The employees are very nice and will give you tidbits of information or background on some of the things you purchase.

I live in a large city, so I don't tend to have the best memory of the names and faces of store owners where I shop. Especially when it's just once. I thought this place was really nice and liked the clothing and accessories (hence me making purchases). I do have a vague memory of the woman in the store. She brought me a pair of shoes in my size once and I of course thanked her at the register and complimented her shop as I paid a pretty large sum for my items. I am known for being very kind to local businesses, cashiers, waiters, etc. As odd as it sounds. Over a year later, a few of my friends that live in the area told me that "Moni" was telling people how much she hated me. I had to ask who that was. Kinda shocked me. An entire year after a nice experience in her store and spending money in it, the owner is telling people she hates me. We were traveling through Cody and simply needed to find a jewelry store where we could borrow the jewelers eye loupe. These kind folks had just closed the store but allowed us to come in anyway and borrow the eye loupe. We spent a good 10 to 15 minutes discussing a specific piece of jewelry. There was probably nothing in it for the jeweler, but they were so kind and generous with their time. We also had a nice conversation. I think they are solid people and would highly recommend visiting their store and doing business with them if you are looking for a nice jewelry store in Cody.
