This is always my go to gas station. The price is usually .01-.05 more than across the street, but with the loves app (which is free) you get 10c off without costing anything except a little bit of memory on your phone. The selection of snacks inside is also better than that of across the street. Definitely recommend between the 2 options. I seem to find myself at a Love's Travel Stop location more than ever since switching to a Diesel Motor-Coach, I guess I should sign up for their rewards program after all everyone likes free stuff I know I do. This location was quite the find, the property is ginormous, lots of big rig parking, scales, separate diesel and gasoline fuel islands and hot coffee and food options. I've only purchased diesel here and learned something valuable from the trucker fueling up in front of me while I waited on him to fill his rig. The DEF (diesel emission fluid) pumps have a extremely long pump hose - my DEF tank and diesel tank are far apart and I never used the DEF dispensers at the truck stop because of the distance between the tanks that requires me to reposition you rig. I normally purchase 2.5 gallon jugs of this emission fluid for about $16.00 which is quite expensive when compared to purchasing this at the pump which is generally close to the same price as diesel which is a substantial savings over time, fortunately the consumption rate is only about 3% of that of diesel which means it's not always a requirement to fill up this fluid every time I stop for diesel. The exterior and interior of the store appeared clean and well organized, the attendant working the fuel counter was super friendly even though I interrupted her smoke break. I admit it took some getting used to estimating the amount of fuel I plan to pump and prepay before pumping and ensuring I get a full tank but it's not that difficult and getting the actual amount charged receipt from the numbered slots at the fuel counter makes the second trip inside less painful. I came here to the shop because I had a flat tire on my trailer. The girl told me that it would be two hour wait so I told her go ahead put my name on the computer. I will wait two hours later. I went in and I asked the girlto how much more time the weight her reply was that she forgot to put me on the computer so I have to wait another 2 to 3 hours and extremely bad attitude. This is a young white girl and this love truckstop is always busy. there's hardly never parking. read more

This is always a great stop on the way to Orlando. The gas prices are great, it's a good spot to stop mid-trip, and they have a bunch of food items and gadgets to purchase in their convenience shop. Also, there's an Arby's next door if you're hankering for that. For the traveler or truck driver, there's full service bathrooms with showers so you can feel refreshed after a long drive. I'm good to give this place 3 stars. I give them this because of the showers they have. We stopped here to get our weight for the truck and trailer and had issues with the trailer. The mechanic was very helpful and friendly, even though he could not fix the problem. So we stayed here to get the trailer fixed. We got showers so we could start the day right. As soon as I walked into the shower, I saw the decor was outdated. The shower was leaking even though you turn the knob to off. The ceiling above the shower had mold all along the corners and I saw the mold in the grout or it wasn't cleaned properly. I spoke with the manager and she said that they were redoing all of the showers very soon so I'll give them another chance when I come back to this neck of the woods. read more

I travel through Polk County from time to time and this is a great truck stop to fuel up right off I-4 at the Polk City/Auburndale exit. They have food, drinks, merchandise, gifts, travel conveniences, and an attached Arby's restaurant. It stays pretty busy but the staff are efficient so you can get in and out quick. read more

Was 3rd in line waiting for a shower, it took over an hour before one came available other than that everything else was pretty good

My husband and I have been in the road since November 5th and needed to do laundry so we stopped in on Thanksgiving on our way to South Carolina. We put our laundry to wash and notice its spotlessly clean the washers, dryers and shower were. The cashier made sure she went and cleaned the shower after each person was done and she didn't skip a beat. As we walked around killing time and contemplating what to buy, we see a really sharp & well put together gentlemen walking back and forth. I thought it was just another trucker killing time also. We then see him behind the counter and notice he was the big man in charge. My husband asks him about the wifi since our truck wifi wasn't working & we had work to do. He helped us get logged in with our Love's account and then we shared personal chit chat. When we thought the conversation couldn't get any better he says, "did y'all eat for thanksgiving" which we didn't and he then proceeded to say, "please get what you want on me and if anybody says anything let them know Sean is paying for it" What a great thing to do especially on Thanksgiving. This stores screams great management and I'm happy we got to personally cross paths with him. He could have been home with his family but yet he's working and giving back. We appreciate you Sean! Please give this man a salary increase. Much appreciated! read more

Need gas? Love's has got it. The store is fully packed and has all the travel essentials you'll need. A bathroom and a lottery station and honestly thats all you need. Be aware, with the construction, getting in and out is a bit difficult and can be extremely tricky. read more

I went to Love's about an hour ago to buy 4 hot dogs and wanted to load them up with chili and cheese BUT the chili dispenser was EMPTY. An employee was in the area so I told her that the chili dispenser was EMPTY! She said "IF I put chili in it now it wouldn't be hot". I told her "that's why you have microwaves". She then walked away. Thinking that she was going for a bag of chili to load the dispenser I waited..... When it became clear that she wasn't coming back I got in line to pay for my hotdogs, without chili!! I told the cashier that the chili dispenser was EMPTY. She went into a song and dance about how a fresh bag should be on top of the dispenser and offered to show me. I told her that I can see from here that there's NO BAG on top of or even close to the dispenser!!! In hindsight I should have just left them on the counter and LEFT but nobody would of cared OR more importantly learned a lesson! Like putting in a fresh bag as soon as a customer informs ANY staff member that something is EMPTY! Instead of saying nothing, walking away and obviously thinking that "someone else will do it" because she never returned!!! Between waiting for her to return to put in a fresh bag of chili and waiting in line to pay (still watching for her return) I completely wasted every bit of 10 minutes to pay full price for FAR LESS than what I WANTED and SHOULD HAVE BEEN AVAILABLE!!! read more

Another great Love's. The staff I encountered were super nice and the shower was so clean! My first travel stop shower experience and it was a good one. They give you a clean towel washcloth and floor towel if you choose to use them. The shower was cleaner than most hotel showers I've seen with plenty of room, good lighting, a fan and the water pressure was awesome they don't rush you either it was great! The store was also clean as well as the washers and dryers, everyone was wearing masks and it's posted at the door you need one to enter. Love's Travel Stop is one of my favorite places to stop during our travels. read more

My Son is a truckdriver and ALWAYS parks here because it's the safest place near my home. I bought a thermal cup there for $ 22.00 and when it didn't work I returned in with the recipient. I don't totally blame this establishment for conditions, as you can't fix stupid people or make slobs become neat. As a truck driver, I am embarrassed by the mess some of the others in my profession leave in their wake. The minute you get out of your rig, you are overcome by the smell of urine, and have to step over the bags of trash, thrown out of truck windows... c'mon guys, is it really too far to the trash barrels or the restroom. You make it bad for everyone. The rest room is the next place of disgust. Urine on the seats, and floor, paper ( and we're not talking news) thrown on the floor instead of being flushed. We often stop at this gas station/convenient store on trips to and from Orlando and is my favorite place to stop for a mid-trip potty break. Quite difficult to navigate here after dark after exiting I-4 exit 44, with all the road construction in front plus constant truck traffic. Friendly pleasant staff keeps the place spotless, and potted plants in the bathroom a unique idea. Gas prices slightly higher than usual but not bad. Small parking lot has slight incline on one side, so don't recommend for overnighters. The rest stop is just a mile west, so park there for the night along with many truckers. read more
