An employee came out and helped him push his car to the side, another employee came out to see if she could help, the owner then got involved and helped by getting a heavy-duty mechanic who was getting gas to help. Knowing he was a college student on his way home after his final exam, the mechanic explained what was wrong and told him if he got the needed part that he would install it for him the next day after work. People like these are rare these days. I've never been so thankful and appreciative!

The price of gas was cheap, but the BP was extremely run down and dirty. The outside had trash and empty bottles scattered around the pumps and the easy stop accessory was missing from the gas pump. It could have been for safety reasons, but it is still nice to have. Inside the store was a bit chaotic with where eveything was located. I was slapped in the face by a chicken struggling for his or her life in the fryer. There was a chicken station in the back that was in full force because the whole store was engulfed in a fried chicken smell. My wife even said I stunk of KFC when I came back in the car. I went to get a cup of coffee and there was only cappuccino. I saw 2 coffee makers that were not labeled and I assumed they were regular coffee. I was wrong! It was French vanilla, which I despise! I saw a dime on the ground and didn't even attempt to pick it up because of the liquid it was sitting next to. Sad day to not become 10 cents richer. The store had signs made of cardboard with sharpie writing on them displaying some deals. The associate taking my payment wasn't rude, but wasn't inviting at the same time. I am sad this is my 50th review and is a poor one, but I can't say anything positive about the BP except the gas price which is dictated by more than just BP.

The best thing about this store is that there is a Subway within it so you can actually get…read moresomething decent to eat if you want. Otherwise it is a below-average store. The building was originally something else and is not proportioned efficiently for a convenience store. Circle K just took an inappropriately proportioned space and without much thought put their stuff in where it would fit. So the roller grill ended up on the right side really close to the front, the Polar Pop on the left near the back, and Subway all the way at the back. The checkout counter is uncomfortably tall but I have heard that there is some ADA exemption that it doesn't have to be at a compliant height unless it is replaced. I have stopped here several times while in the area and the employees are generally more friendly than average. They make a good effort at keeping the store clean but there is just too much long term ground in grime for them to be truly effective. Access to the gas pumps is a bit difficult if there are any other vehicles around. Anyone driving a rental moving van or towing a trailer should buy gas elsewhere. It is overdue for a tear down and rebuild.

Intoxicated customers in oversized pick up trucks who were singing along to the country and western tunes piped in thru antiquated ceiling speakers. The drink coolers were bare of the basics and the food spinners were frightening looking ... the Subway outlet was closed at this hour. The place is dingy and in definite need of an update. On the bright side, the restrooms were surprisingly clean(ish) and the two young ladies working the register were polite and patient with what appeared to be the regular weekend overnight crowd.
