I love a good Love's stop. We stopped on our drive to Atlanta. It's the perfect place to let our dog stretch her legs, grab a snack, and use the restrooms. While I love the dog parks, I do wish they would better enforce or upkeep the facilities. So much dog poop everywhere that you're trying to avoid. read more

Fuel stop for the bus before heading to the mountains in North Carolina, I was unsure of the open business situation at our destination since much of the area was still in recovery from last years hurricane Helene so I wanted to top off the tank. Unfortunately this place was backed up at the big rig fuel islands but everyone followed the trucker's protocols so the line moved fairly quickly. The staff at the fuel counter were friendly and professional, I over estimated the gallons I needed to pump just to ensure my tank was completed filled which required a second trip inside to get my actual receipt. Looking at the condition of the fuel islands it shows how busy this stop is, the pump lanes could use a good pressure washing and the paper towel holder and hand sanitizer dispensers needed some attention, it was nice to see the bug sponges were new and the buckets were filled with soapy water. I would return if and when I'm back in the area, the entrance and exit drives were well marked and provided easy access to and from the interstate..l read more

CLEAN BATHROOMS!!! But if you're a trucker looking for a shower...DO NOT rest here!! Their shower pressure SUCKS!! The water barely comes out of the shower head . And don't let someone flush the toilet in another shower room..you'll be standing there with practically NO water for about 10 secs! Avoid this place if love hot showers. Great gas stop just across the boarder in SC. The restrooms were clean as always. Coffe bar and drink counter clean and neat. Drove up on a busy Friday morning heading north and needed a bio break. The guy behind the counter, a young tall light curly haired man, had such a pleasant demeanor. He smiled and acknowledged everyone that he could. If the line grew long he opened up another register. He jumped right in with the flow. Kudos Loves! On road trips, I always make this gas station my stop. I know you will have clean restrooms and hot coffee. read more

This Love's Travel Stop is located at exit 4 along Interstate 85 in Fair Play, SC. You are just 4 miles from Georgia when at this stop. The location is fairly convenient and is close to the junction with I-85. My visit here was on July 28, 2021 while heading south. This was a fairly quick visit. The reason for the stop was to get gas since gas prices are generally higher in Georgia. At the time, it wasn't overly busy at the gas pumps, so that made it quick, There wasn't anything that would increase the rating above 3 stars since it really was just a gas stop before continuing southbound on I-85. If you are traveling through this area and need some gas, you should definitely get it here before going into Georgia. read more

I just stopped at this Love's today 6-22-25 between 1:45 pm. And 2:15 p.m. to pay for diesel . I pulled up to pump 25 first to pay at the pump but it wouldnt let me pay at the pump so I moved to pump 18 and still it wouldnt let me pay at pump 18 either. I had to go on the inside to pay for my fuel which doesn't make sense since I always pay at the pump. It's definitely something that your employees had to be hitting inside the store once they saw me trying to pay at the pump. Crazy work. Calling corporate Monday because there's no way that BOTH pumps wouldnt let me pay. Other drivers were able to but once I tried it wouldnt let me. Hmmmmm,check your store cameras. read more

Can I give less than one star???? I am utterly disgusted at the upkeep and maintenance of the Loves gas station and rest stop #387 in SC. This was the last gas station in SC before you enter GA but it would have been well worth the extra 20 cents a gallon to drive a few extra miles to a gas station that understands cleanliness and customer service. I noticed the sign posted on the wall about Loves standards so I spoke to one of the employees at Loves to tell them that the rest room needed to be attended to and she nonchalantly told me ok we'll have someone check on it. I also called the toll feee number of the sign which looped me around the system into a never ending bad-music hold, with no customer service rep response. SMH! read more

i have shopped in this store a lot because it has a most rude cashiers i have ever had in my life, The cashiers are rude and unprofessional and the speak to the costumers however they want. I have been in a lot of truck stops and i will never go back to this ever again. The pumps are messed up most of the time, nasty food and poor management. Everyone needs to be replaced in this store. Was having a very rough week. Tire blew out, shop was short handed. The manager went over and beyond to make arraignments to get help and get me back on the road to deliver my load on time. Usually be in tire shop for very long hours. She had me in and out and because of her quick thinking I made my delivery on time and kept my great rating with my broker. Cheap cheap cheap gas. If you're already going to be going this way, make this your stop to top off and you'll probably save 5 or so cents a gallon. Very easy to access from the highway and to get back to it, though it's easier for Northbound. This Love's has an Arby's. And very clean bathrooms. read more

If traveling south on I-85 in South Carolina, the closer you get to the Georgia border, the higher the gas prices get. At least, that's been my experience. This is not the case at Love's, a country store and truck stop, located just off exit 4 (SC 243 - Fair Play). On my last stop here, the price for a gallon of premium unleaded fuel was about 35 cents cheaper than metro Atlanta. Not bad. While I prefer to stop at one of the new QuikTrips (QTs) in my travels up and down the I-85 corridor, Love's is a serviceable alternative. The parking area is spacious. The convenience store is attached to an Arby's, so you can stop and grab a meal. The store has a small selection of fresh fruit, plus sausages and taquitos on hot rollers. There's a coffee station and an almost random assortment of merchandise, from bargain DVDs to sports apparel. The restrooms are clean enough and the staff are polite. Simply put, Love's gets the job done (with a country atmosphere). read more

Coming North from Georgia on I-85, this is the first place you can get lower taxed SC Gas and save around $0.10 gallon. More than just cheap gas, it's also clean and well stocked with snacks so a good place to stop for a few minutes and stretch your legs. Restrooms stink, toilets not real clean, they also could use a good cleaning, trash cans emptied & a good deodorizer. PineSol or bleach would be a good start. They do have an Arby's here. The coffee bar was clean. Cashiers working & pleasant. Fuel Island 4&5 deep. Anyone parked near the fuel island will play hell trying to get out around noon... When on road trips and looking for gas, I usually stop at RaceTrac because there are more of them but I do Love Love's. This is my favorite Love's when I'm headed home (north on I85 exit 104). It's clean and the McD's with it is good. The BEST part of this station is, it has it's own onramp to I85. You pull out of the station and you are on the highway (not as easy going south). read more

We usually enjoy visiting Loves, and since we travel a lot around the country with our camping trailer, we spend a quite a bit of money of at this business. I have never been a worse locations yet. First the cleaning lady in the bathroom asked me if she could borrow my young son to help her out. What she wanted him to do is to lock the door of a toilet stall from the inside due it being clogged and nasty and then crawl out under the door. I was kind of surprised that she had asked me that; we politely declined and went out to buy food. While checking out the lady at the cash register, Beverly, was extremely rude and started yelling at me while I was talking to my elderly father because I had "inserted my credit card too early". We will never return to this location. read more

Stopped here about 1 am traveling back home. When we got there someone was cleaning off the door handles and wiping down the doors! The best part were the restrooms - they were EXTREMELY clean! The people were so friendly even at 1 am and everything was so clean, would definitely recommend stopping at Love's! read more

Stopped here to refill a prepaid card. Woman at the register tried, but couldn't figure it out. She gets the manger. The Manger walks up, looks at the screen, as says "I haven't done one since the update, I don't don't know" and walks off. Lady at the register looks at me as says "sorry, I don't know how".. Just stopped at this location because my dogs whining was driving me nuts- I was so surprised to see a "dog park" at the gas station!!!! It's a nice size fenced area with a couple picnic tables- was able to let my pup run around and get some energy out, that alone would have earned the 5 stars but the staff was friendly, store and women's restrooms were clean. They even let me get a cup of water for my dog- no charge. read more

I'm definitely a fan of this Love's travel stop. It has pretty much everything you could possibly want on a road trip. Most importantly, and I do stress it does have clean restrooms which is a definite plus. The staff here was really nice and willing to help out any way they can comma although not in the bathroom stuff because that would just be weird comma. Loves is the place to stop when you are traveling long distance. They have just about everything you could possibly need in a pit stop, gas, snacks, clean bathrooms and showers too! I wouldn't know about the showers personally but someone we know says they have the cleanest showers in his opinion while driving his 18 wheeler across the country. There is an Arby's located rite next door if you want to grab a quick bite before heading back on the road. read more

I frequently drive from Atlanta to North Carolina and always stop here for gas - it's a couple of exits after you cross the Georgia / South Carolina line and boy do they have cheap gas, typically this is one of the cheapest on the interstate in SC. This Love's always has clean restrooms and a Arby's if you need a quick bite for the road. read more
