I was here for the Love's Travel Stop and not the Love's RV Hookup. I'm not sure why Yelp wants to mush them up together, possibly because they do have the same phone number and address, but they are separate. Whatever, Yelp. 19 gallons of gas here and it was one of the least expensive in the area when you include the 10 cents off per gallon when scanning the Love's app. Pump area was clean and while the fuel flowed, I was able to use one of those extra long squeegee sticks to reach the top of the RV. Inside, lots of options for hot dogs and other tube-shaped meat on the roller grill. coffee, sodas, grab-and-go sandwiches and snacks. Restroom was clean. My family and I are heading back home and stopped here to stretch, get gas, and go potty. This is an updated review from a few days ago. The store is clean and had a McDonald's and Chesters Chicken. Since our visit a few days ago they definitely cleaned up the women's bathroom. The stalls were clean and they had toilet seat covers. The sinks were also clean with push soap dispensers and auto paper towel dispensers. The bathroom actually had a lemon scent like it had recently been mopped which is a positive. They have the typical convenient store items such as snacks and refrigerated drinks. read more

This location has 4 sites. It's the first Love's RV Hookup we have stayed at that has a communal RV dump. It requires a code for use, which they send to you in the reservation confirmation. However, upon arriving, we found out the dump actually had a padlock on it. An employee came out with the key, then we were good to go, no code needed. However, we do prefer having an RV dump at our site. The other hiccup were the site numbers. The numbers at Love's are opposite of what is shown on the camplife website. We had selected site 1, which was furthest from the gas pumps, and it turned out site 4 was furthest, and site 1 was closest to the pumps. This is a very busy gas station, with some driving too fast and some with loud music. Guess I'm getting old, LOL. One thing we do like about this location, are the longer sites, we can park our motorcoach and tow vehicle one in front of the other. Manager Bobby Joe came and chatted with us for a few minutes. I'm normally a fan of Love's and use them almost exclusively when I'm looking to fill up my RV when traveling even those they are almost never the cheapest when it comes to fuel prices. On this joyous occasion I stopped in to fuel up the rental car during my drive from Houston to Florida and to grab a refreshment. The condition of this location was very disappointing, actually it was appalling of how unkempt it was, there's not much cleaning going on here. I'd say the fuel island was just short of nasty. I made no less than 6 - 8 attempts to swipe my credit card - although it seemed to accept my card the pump failed to reset, finally someone inside got on the megaphone and made everyone at the pumps aware that they were having technical difficulties and they were working on a reset - finally it appeared the I/T event was resolved. I started the payment process over and my card was declined (really) I noticed a number of the other customers were sharing my frustration. After another few minutes it seemed the system was reset and the fuel began to flow even though I swiped the same card, so I filled up the tank and immediately signed into my account to ensure my multiple swipes didn't result in multiple charges, it appears they weren't and it didn't trigger my fraud alert Whew! I know my one visit here is just a snap shot in the day in the life but I can't imagine that it's not a similar picture everyday... read more

I love Loves Travel Stop. Why? Because they appreciate Charter Bus Drivers!!! Whenever, I bring a bus to Loves Travel Stop they announce " Bus on the Lot"! What this means to the staff is ALL HANDS ON Deck!! You'll see all on duty staff visible on registers and the fountain area being restocked, hotdogs being added to the rollers, just making sure all guests are tended to. I must say, each time I stop at a Loves in a bus, a cashier or manager will seek me out and offer me a snack and fountain drink. If attached to a food chain, they will have no problem letting you know your food is on the house. What appreciation Loves!!! This is why I will never ever stop at ungrateful Bucee's, again:)) read more

It was quiet and clean. Lots of truck parking. Showers were a decent size and clean. They have a dog park also.

Love's Travel Stops are typically a good choice during road trips. They have a great layout at the pumps. Easy in and out because the pumps are widely spaced. The store and restrooms were clean. This location had two fast food options: McDonalds and Chester's Chicken. They have a great fresh fruit display. You can get whole fruit or cups of cut-up fruit to-go. Most terrible, unprofessional, slowest shop I ever been to in my life! I came in at 11am for a oil change and didnt get finished until AFTER MIDNIGHT! There was plenty of workers there and not many trucks. They're so remedial and unprofessional, they was takin trucks that came after me! Trash everywhere outside including in the dog park. All trash bins overflowing. Trash blowing around. They needed to send someone out to pickup and to empty bins. Cashier at McDonald's had no coin change left to give me change. Told her to keep the change and drove off. read more

I use the tire center for oil and fuel filter changes on my work truck regularly, great staff, if you get there early enough there is a wait but if you get there late the wait list grows. These guys always do a great job in a timely manner so I can get my wheels rolling again. read more

0 Stars. Never been to a Love's that doesn't love and respect their drivers. Usually the employees at love's are courteous to drivers knowing what type of stressful job they have, having to work 10-14hrs a day, but not here. Last night there was an issue since I left my shower and my wife stayed behind to finish up... the manger got upset the shower was flagged. Also had issues with giving me a plastic bag for my dirty clothes assuming I would steal from the store as he asked me several times if I was on my way out... This morning I moved my bobtail to a safe location away from the fire lane and fuel lane just to brush my teeth, only to hear my truck over the PA system not even 2 minutes later for blocking the fire lane... Upon coming out the morning manager, Scott, began threatening me to report me to my company when I wasn't even blocking the fuel or fire lane. I tried to explain to him I wasn't looking to get into an argument I just brushed my teeth and in the middle of my apology he cut me off to let me know, "I don't care if it's 1 minute or 2 minutes don't EVER block my fire lane again." When I explained to him where the fire lane began and ended and how I was well behind the fire lane, as I could see they're very anal people here, he brushed me off. It seems that the managers at this Love's instead of catering to their drivers have nothing else better to do but harass their drivers. It's not like this with other Love's, I chose this location because of my love for Love's but I'll definitely never come here again. I'd rather park on the shoulder of an exit. read more

So this truck stop is brand new and at the Long Beach exit. Which is big news because they've only had 2 gas stations there for quite some time with the Chevron being there FOREVER. That said, you'd expect a larger truck stop to have cheaper gas. Well, they don't. Another observation, it's damn near impossible to find coconut water from east Texas to Mississippi in a truck stop. This truck stop is severely understaffed; it's very unfortunate for the employees, often older people, who are trying to do the work several people. Not all of the paper towel and soap dispensers in the bathrooms are ever full. Who knows how often the toilets get cleaned? The McDonald's takes the award for filthiest eatery on I-10. The napkin dispensers are empty, the tables haven't been wiped all day, the ketchup machine has been destroyed and their is ketchup everywhere, the floors are full of trash, and the food preparation area, from the counter, looks equally as dirty. However, there are the workers, standing around texting, laughing, socializing, and doing everything else but actually trying to make the restaurant run. I understand that it is a bad job, the workers complained to me last night about not getting a break in an eight-hour shift. This is a problem in our corporate oligarchy which needs to be corrected, clearly. However, at that truck stop, I do not have many choices around for food. Therefore, even though I consume there against my will, if there was actually something else in this area, it is all forest, then I would not patronize McDonald's. In the meantime, keep aiming for the bottom, Corporate Tyrants. I also do not liked being yelled at every time you move around in that truck stop, "Hello, Welcome to Love's."
