There is a manager named Jessica at this store who is loud, obnoxious, insulting, & completely unprofessional, especially when a customer asks her a reasonable question. Not only is Jessica insulting, condescending & unprofessional towards her customers, her fellow employees openly laugh out loud at the insults she gives her customers. SO I fell into a pattern on my NYC to California trip. I stopped at a fair number of Love's Truck Stops. Why? They usually had easy on and off to the freeway, they almost always had good gas prices for the area, the bathrooms were clean to spotless, the area between the pumps was nice as I had a moving van, and the long handles made cleaning the windshield easy. This Love's is in Hazen, Arkansas and was #3 on my trip. I don't know what to say but I felt an odd vibe when I entered that state and this was my one and only stop thankfully. My vibes aside, the staff was friendly, and the store, grounds and bathrooms were spotlessly clean. Plenty of room at the pumps, good prices, and window washer fluid that was more than just scummy water was a nice plus. read more

Travel stop convenient to the interstate (I40) between Memphis and Little Rock. This is one of the few decent stops between the LR and Memphis corridor. Clean restrooms, good eats and drinks, fuel and sundries. Don't waste your time stopping. The restrooms are very dirty, the food choices are shit, there is ice, but no soft drinks coming out of machine and lastly blah se employees. Hey Love's it's summer and people are traveling. Close this location if you can't keep up with the demand or keep decent employees. Hard pass for us next trip to my son's in Texas. read more

Love LOVES employees. Always busy busy but always make time to greet everyone who entered. Their space and restrooms were clean and stocked up. Now.... Attached is a subway, pizza spot, and Chester's chicken. As soon as you "crossed over", the floors were filthy. Subway would've been the best option for me (should've followed my gut) as they were most presentable and clean. I would've had pizza, but prices were a bit too much for me and the reps at the register seemed distracted with "purchasing" what seemed to be stolen cell. Very shady transaction.... Customers had to move around this "seller.... Having to eyeball the other cashier standing there to get rung up. Chester's "chicken on the run" ... is what we ended up getting. Their tenders and fries ... CORRECTION, their wedges, were HUGE and tasty. Their buffalo sauce tastes a bit like franks hot sauce, the bbq similar to McDonalds. Forgot the ranch lol but they have other flavors (couldn't see the image on the menu clearly) Never being here before, their boneless saucy chicken looked old (sitting there for quite some time) and they were out of the chicken sandwiches... next and only alt option were the chicken strips. The ONLY thing that threw me off was ... their prep area. The employee was wonderful! But the prep area was right behind the register?! Like most of the other loves, they tend to be cleaner than other major truckstops. This one is exceptional, a great variety of food well-maintained facility. Get here early if you want a parking spot though, but that's pretty much the same as anywhere. read more

Chesters Chicken Honestly I probably will never goto a Chester's again it was that disgusting. This tarnished your brand badly. I will post my experience on yelp and Google as well to make sure others do not waste their money like I did. Homeless shelter food would be better. Your franchise teams should have quality control at the top of your list or you will go out of business. Just being honest and transparent it takes alot for me to take action and message corporate. I stopped here because I was on my way to the airport , it was the middle of the night and I was starving. The restaurants looked all closed so I looked for food in the gas station. First thing I noticed was there was a lot of food set out that had expired expiration dates. I ended up getting a chef salad. The were so many ribs in my salad that I thought I ordered bbq. As you can see from the photos, it looks good from the top but the minute you start to stir in the salad dressing, the ribs appear. My salad was literally made up primarily of the rib part of the lettuce. Very disappointed when they cost so much. read more

I love stopping at this truck stop. In my personal opinion, Love's truck stop is the best taken care of. Every time I come to Lowe's truck stop, it's always super clean. This one in particular . Let's start from the parking lot. Like I mentioned before it it always clean and very well maintained. They also have a cat scale on the property. There are many snacks inside. Also they have good coffee to keep you driving and awake. They have also many different snacks. The employees and very nice and polite. I had a question about the location of those like fridge magnets with the state name on it. They gladly helped and guided me to the right location of those magnets. Their bathroom are also very clean and very well taken care of. This is a good place to stop and chill until your time to go. If you're driving by and looking for a place to rest, this is the place. Best Stop between MEM & LR! I know I've driven I-40 over 1,000 times (between family, dating, jobs, travel, etc.) It's good to have a dependable stop with a CLEAN RESTROOM. Currently, this is my favorite. A recent renovation has it looking new and improved. Gas is typically among the cheapest on this route (not always). Recently I drove round-trip from Memphis to Little Rock & back everyday for close to 3 months and I stopped here EVERYDAY. Only one time was the restroom in need of care. The workers are friendly. There is always soapy water in the windshield squeegee buckets (mandatory cleaning for those huge Arkansas bugs!) During the pandemic, all workers wear masks (although most wear them on their chin.) Forgive me, but in my travels I have seen a distinct difference in mask wearing in Arkansas. (So I won't remove a star, because this is how it is all over Arkansas. After I cross the boarder in any direction, I see lots of people wearing masks again.) At one point in the pandemic, masks were only required in the restaurant. (That must make eating difficult & sloppy!) :o) BTW: Men can enter the restroom without touching a door, but ladies must pull the door open to enter. Sinks are touchless! The gas station is on the SOUTH side of the interstate, so it's a quick stop if you are travelling east (toward Memphis.) Add 1 or 2 minutes if you are travelling west (to Little Rock). These travel stops are always a sight for sore eyes! They have gas, a few eateries (like Subway, Godfathers Pizza, and Chesters. This location had a RV parking area and is moderate in size for trucks, cars and RVs. Good place to rest if you're an RVer, trucker or traveler. read more

This particular Love's has a sparkling clean/newly renovated restroom with many stalls, a stock of fresh produce and salads and a dog park. The attendants were courteous and there were 2 to make the process of checking out smooth and efficient inside. out of our 12 hour drive this was the WORST gas station i've ever been to. the bathrooms were disgusting and unkept. the entire store was filthy. i mean like shouldn't be able to pass an inspection filthy. it seemed like a film covered everything. the ice machine didn't work. the sodas were watered down. there were roaches around the coffee creamers and the worker next to me didn't even react to it. how gross is that! and last but not least, the young lady with all the facial piercings working the subway had a HORRIBLE, god awful attitude to the point were i wanted to cancel my order since she was very obviously not wanting to take my order after she slammed my bread and her knife down while huffing and rolling her eyes when i asked for different bread, before she even started the order. god forbid you do your job!! she didn't wrap our sandwiches up correctly and they unraveled and made a complete mess. she was painfully rude and should not be working in any customer service position at all. she was disrespectful to say the very least. i truly wanted to talk to management about her disgusting attitude. but i'm sure the grungy environment she works in doesn't help her morale. if you don't want to work customer service PLEASE DONT!! your attitude affects the people you serve. we were nothing but kind to her before she started acting ugly. save yourself the stress and go to a gas station on another exit!!! read more
