Loves, Hillsboro Texas, 12/7/25 Sunday afternoon. Arrived needing a trailer tire replaced. Asked how long to get a trailer tire replaced, was told we can get you right in. Was immediately put in a bay. 3 loves employees present, never saw a service truck move. I did see a man with his feet up, someone outside wandering around and soneone messing atound at the service desk. After an hour i asked the guy at the desk how long he'd been on hold with crst(often happens), he replied he was about to start on my trailer. I gave him another 15mins, told him i was leaving and got my key. Went to the loves in Italy-was in and out in an hour. If we weren't required to fuel at Hillsboro Loves i would never stop there again. read more

This place is large and had not only snacks but stuff for fixing cars or trucks. Very nice place to get gas, snacks and things to assist with your car or trucks. read more

These fuel stations are always busy and not always the cleanest. This one is a smaller one for both trucks and POV's with single line pumps. Parking area is small. The high octane gas is $0.10 higher than the location across the street. Inside is very outdated and crowded with narrow aisles and barely any room for lines at the counter. Always has a very dirt dusty feel to it. The store itself is also small. Not near the selection as other Love's stores. They didn't have Frito's which I was looking for. There is a Subway and a Chesters Chicken attached. Staff is plenty helpful, always talkative. read more

You can buy preprinted lotto tickets at the front with cash because it's the only place left in Texas that doesn't understand you can use a debit card to purchase lotto tickets. read more

When I was a teenager, my job was cleaning dog kennels. I learned that cleaning pee and poo was just my job. When going to vets, dog care, pet sitting, I realize the nasty funk is a sign of their care and cleaning skills, not the dogs. Everyone stopping here uses the bathroom. The pee everywhere and nasty smell folding out of the bathroom has less to do with the patrons than the piss poor cleaning skills and give a "hoot" of the staff. There's a reason Buc-ees is wildly popular. They get where most patrons are going and they care. There are too many nearby stops to spend my money at than try this again. I'm sure they focus on what they need to do as part of their business. read more

This is a new Love's to compete with the megastore across the street. I had to get gas but the megastore across the street was blocked with some sort of emergency. I would rather had gone across the street but needed gas. This location is a typical store, nothing new. The megastore across is the choice when driving through. read more

Car was running on orange so I pulled in to the 7-11 across the street for gas. I probably could've made it to Love's but didn't want to risk it since I was already running the last of the fumes. Then I decided to come across to Loves to use the bathroom. Why? Cuz I can always count on Love's to have clean bathrooms! Not to mention some sort of popular fast food connected to it, which in this case... Subway! Albeit this location is smaller and a little older compared to other Love's stops, it's still just as brightly lit both inside and outside. Makes a great place to feel safe napping at when you're getting sleepy on the road! read more

Truckers this is a pretty busy location, have never stopped here and it not be busy. Expect a lengthy wait at the fuel island. Could practically do your 30 min break just waiting to fuel haha. Ladies restroom was decent today, husband said the men's was ok, not exactly the best Loves travel center for cleanliness I'm guessing they would blame the high volume of customers and lack of employees. But still you need to keep your business clean. read more

The bathroom was clearly not cleaned before the shower. The toilet had stuff on it that I don't need to mention. This is not a good Love's. There are plenty that are but definitely not this one. read more

Never ceases to amaze me that I somehow end up in this place all the time when traveling. Its located in a great spot and its decent. The bathrooms are messy but not terrible and it has a subway so it has decent food. It looks pretty run down from the outside but its ok. However the people were really nice here. read more

Easy off/on from I-35 and $0.20 cheaper than the station at the next exit. Bathroom was clean.

Used to stop across the street on our trips from Austin to Dallas, but starting to stop here more as it's not as crowded and a little easier to get back on the highway. Clean restrooms and good selection of guilty pleasure road trip snacks. read more

The truck stop is good, but holy moly the Chester Chicken is crap!! If your looking for over priced over cooked nasty greasiest, weird tasting fried chicken.. Then this is your place.. So after I ate half of it and threw it away.. I figured they couldn't mess up on the tenders.. So I bought one to see if it's good? Holy crap! The tender was dry the crust was soggy and meat was tough.. Gees.. The only thing that was okay. Was the over cooked potato wedge and the bread.. Next time it's subway for me.. read more

Just a shout out to the great people at Loves in Hillsboro, TX. On Saturday night, November 7, 2015, I was helping lead a school group trip home to San Antonio after a competition earlier that day in the Dallas area. Our charter bus broke down on the interstate just outside of Hillsboro and the whole group of us (including 40 high school students) descended on Loves like refugees. The staff at Loves could have told us to move along elsewhere, but they graciously allowed us to hang out in their restaurant for four hours while we waited for a rescue bus to arrive. The restaurant (a Subway) was clean and safe. The restrooms were clean. We had already eaten dinner before we arrived, so Loves didn't get much business from us. Still, we were thankful for their hospitality and understanding. Way to go Loves! You have definitely earned my business and respect. read more

The workers did nothing to help customers. We're talking loudly about how "they weren't going to do that! ". Wow! Poo on the toilet seat. They need to clean instead of complain. Or go get s different job. Other Loves are Much better. read more

I'm a over the road Driver and stopped here today to shower. OMG terrible showers are in bad shape well at least# 2 is. With all the money that truckers spend here just in fuel needs updating fast. Won't come here again will go to the flying J up the road read more

the lady didnt want to take my loves card for shower she just wanted to make me wait somewhere so how would we know when its my turn. i ended up having her take my card. soi would know kida weird she said theres 2 people ahead of me . as soon as she ran loves card my shower was ready .wow nastiest shower\bathroom ive ever seen at a loves nasty ..hair..all over poop in toilet. trash..diety floor etc etc . they just are not cleaning these showers lazy ass people fire them get people that will work. read more

Stopped in this morning needing propane exchange badly. Also needed diesel for truck and fill two gas cans. Outside propane cabinet was full but was rudely told "we're out". I told them cabinet was full and clerk said " sir , he says we are out"! No apologies. Drove down the road to corner store and clerk very happily got my propane and I also bought a tank of diesel and also gas cans refueled. read more

This was by far the worst bathroom experience of my life. After stopping here to use the restroom, I can honestly say that I would sooner stop at a construction site porta-potty than return to this dump. There were 3 stalls in the restroom, 2 of which were clogged and overflowing, and the only stall with a useable toilet had poop smeared all over the floor and the toilet paper dispenser. I even saw an employee leaving the men's room without a care in the world, which leads me to believe that the restroom is always that bad. On top of everything else, there was no soap in the dispensers and there were more flies than a cattle yard in that room. Honestly that place should be condemned. read more
