Quick stop for a bathroom break. The restrooms were in very good condition though there were some paper towels on the floor and one of the bins was full. The convenience store was well stocked with coffee, drinks, snacks and roller grills of hot dogs. I did not have a need to make a purchase today. This Love's Travel Stop is located along Interstate 85 at exit 28 in Georgia. The place is close to the interstate, so it is at a convenient location as well. There is an Arby's attached to this location as well. My visit here was on July 28, 2021. The reason for stopping in here this day was to use the restroom and to get some drinks for the road as the trip continued. In general, I do look for Love's Travel Stops when on the road as I normally have good experiences with them. The men's restroom was clean and well maintained when visiting this day, but my mom said that it wasn't as much the case in the women's restroom. We did let an associate know about it and they said they would send someone to take a look at it. After that, we looked around to see what they had at this location. We ended up getting a few sodas and snacks on this visit and then continued our trip. Overall, this is a good Love's Travel Stop. There wasn't anything for a wow factor to increase the rating above three stars, but this is a solid place to visit if you're in the area and need to take a quick break. read more

I stopped twice at this specific Love's Travel Stop Gas Station and shop. Most times I choose Love's because it is one of the gas station names that offer a large-stop area to pump gas, stretch your legs, use the restroom, get drinks and snacks but this time this specific gas station offers everything all other Love's Travel Stop offer at a more compacted area and I personally didn't like that. Consequently, the compacted area with all amenities offered longer waiting times to pump gas, and find a parking space Crowded areas while driving around the gas station and when inside the gas station longer waiting time to use the restroom, walk around the shop to get snacks and long waiting areas to pay. Additionally, due to the crowds the gas station restrooms were not as clean. Either way, it is the only "large" gas station in the area so it was that or just any other small size one. read more

Need air? The dispenser out front is broken, like every air dispenser in every gas station everywhere. We filled up on the car side and were intimidated by the truck side. The cashier offered me the truck service for free. They don't own the auto side dispenser and can't fix it. You pull in where the trucks go and weave around to the bay nearest the store. She was right - the truck drivers leave enough room to weave, though it looks very full. The very nice attendant got my trailer tires back to the right spot AND my car too. He refused to even let me buy him a cup of coffee - not even tomorrow's cup. We were not safe on the road - and now we are. I'll be back! read more

this one is definitely outgrown itself it is a heavily traffic area between Atlanta and Montgomery just outside of Newnan Georgia on Interstate 85 a very busy corridor... the Arby's has improved separate review on that although here the biggest issue still seems to be cleanliness a lot of times too hot dog areas kind of Slappy the coffee bar areas Slappy and the bathrooms tend to not get done as often as they should.. but I pulled her went to sleep I wasn't worried about it I just wanted to place to park so it was fine for me to saw some z's. as some prior reviews show especially on the Goog. employee attitudes can be sketchy here at times especially on the graveyard shift but the coffee was fresh when I came in it was fine toilets were Fair..not nasty but some paper and garbage on the floor no surprise especially for the still near Atlanta area.. they have a small shop that this one still for drivers and truckers the Arby's inside as for mentioned then sometimes you got to be careful at night time the area is kinda going to hood but not Hood so you start a wanna watch your back at certain parts that's all...while the truck stop itself doesn't have too much of a problem I believe on the weekends they do have security here but anywhere near an urban area with a heavy crime rate Chicago Dallas Detroit everybody knows that a lot of places do hire security at night time.. biggest problem here with it being small is getting in and out sometimes you pull in and it takes you almost a half an hour to 40 minutes to get out of the place but that's like anywhere the same way down the road the pilot and everything else it's just too much traffic not enough acreage. no need for pictures on this one I did the Arby's that was the main thing when I pulled in here wanting to have that when I got up knowing that my choices are limited.. and this waffle House is not one that I would consider going to basically leave it at that.. so just another typical loves average. It seemed like 80-90% of the people using the gas pumps were local and knew each other. Or, at least, knew each other well enough that they stood around talking to each other after they pumped their gas...necessitating a move to a different pump for me. I've never before seen people use the time to buy gasoline for an opportunity to gabfest their way into being a loitering nuisance. Now I have. Everything else was good enough. I got a humongous styrofoam cup of Coke Zero that lasted me for hours for not much money and the bathroom wasn't filthy. Love's used to have its own brand of beef jerky, which was paper-thin and crunchy, but they've apparently given up on that in favor of other, more expensive nationally-distributed brands. read more

My fellow clean-bathroom-seeking travelers: I am writing this in an attempt to help you save yourselves and SKIP THIS LOVE'S! Love's is my go-to stop on a trip because they reliably have clean restrooms. Imagine my shock and dismay to walk into this location and encounter the following: 1 stall occupied. 1 stall out of order- with the door wide open and a blue towel covering the toilet. What in the world? Just close the door- although they probably couldn't because it's likely the latch is broken. The two remaining open stalls were both filthy. I spent a couple minutes running back and forth between them trying to decide which was the least offensive. I finally picked one and immediately discovered the door lock was broken and the door would not stay closed. At this point, if I had not been in such a hurry, I would have gone to the gas station next door, which I had previously turned my nose up in favor of Love's. I really wish I'd thought to snap a couple of quick pictures. Anyway...here's the deal. The restroom was not just dirty, as in someone made a mess in there within the last hour. They were dirty as in, they look like they maybe get cleaned monthly and this is the last day of the month. The toilet bowls appear to never get scrubbed. They were growing whatever that slimy stuff is that toilet bowls like to grow. The toilet seats had peeling places and looked aged. The floors were filthy- grimy. Just not up to the usual standards that I have come to expect from Love's. I will be avoiding this location from now on when traveling through here. read more

As far as interstate gas stations go all of these are top of the line. I will always choose to go here rather than any other place. Just can't give it five stars without remembering I'm wearing "travel goggles" which is sort of like beer goggles but legal to drive with. Cheapest price for gas in town

I have stop by many of these chains all along the East Coast and the staff at this location was the worse by far. They were not knowledgable about the current sales or promotions which is a must at these massive travel stops. I am a extreme fan of the Loves Travel Stop but this location didn't meant its other wise wonderful friendly standards. read more

My company spends (did spend... no more) hundreds of dollars each week for fuel and such at Love's. I had surgery several years ago and they removed most of my colon. A lot of times when I eat I have to find a restroom quick... and on January 29, 2015 that was the case. There were no close parking spots so I parked in a handicapped space and even parking there just made it to the restroom. When I came out there was a cop waiting to give me a ticket. I explained my situation and he had no sympathy. I asked how he could give a ticket in a private lot, he told me the manager of this Love's asked them to give tickets to people that didn't have a handicapped tag or sticker... he told me to go to my doctor and get something in writing or a handicapped tag and bring it to court and they might drop it, but I would have to appear. I don't have time to take off from work so I guess I will pay the $125.00 ticket I was given to save my CDL license and stop purchasing from the Love's at Hogansville, GA. They are going to loose in the long run... 4 crews working each one with a pickup truck, a big truck with water system on it, an HDD machine and a mini excavator.... that's a lot of diesel and gas in a weeks time. They will be loosing more than me, I will not purchase fuel at this place again. If this was something I did all the time I wouldn't have been upset. It was truly an emergency. read more
