Good gas prices, crazy busy. Bathrooms were clean. Easy on and off access to I-65. Customer service was quick.

This is the second Love's RV Spot we stayed at.l. The first one, in Hampshire, IL was wonderful. FHU, close to store and had an Arby's! Unfortunately, this one is only electric and water, but there is a dump station. Don't plan on using that as other reviews said it was difficult to maneuver with a Class A. We'll hafta wait till next stop. We got in late, got electric and water hooked up only to find the water didn't work in our spot. I reserved Spot #4. Also, the cement pad is not level at all and took both our passenger side tires were off the ground. Back down they went and we refrained from opening the slides. Thank god we can still use our bed with the slide closed. There is a KOA down the road. If we're ever out this way again, we might try that. read more

This is the second Love's we've been to and their restrooms were both clean! This one was smaller than the first one, I can't remember where the first one was located ;) but I love the fact that they provide toilet seat covers!!! I hate using public restrooms and Love's restrooms ease some of that anxiety! They are truly one stop shop! They have food, drinks, souvenirs, electronics, toys, etc. Love's always adjacent to a fast food joint such as Subway, Arby's, Chester's, McDonald's, etc. It's just smart advertising, they had a billboard 20 exits ahead stating they're location. That's good so you can plan. TIP: I wish I knew this before we went on this road trip, if you download their app you could save 10 cents per gallon on your gas purchase and 16 cents if you have their credit card! I'm not paid to advertise this hahaha. read more

Not to be confused with Lusts, which is a much sexier truck stop, but doesn't stay open long, and definitely not forever. Located in Horse Cave, not to be confused with Hoarse Cave, which is a cave that has been shouting a lot. I slept at this Love's station overnight and had no problems with it. At first I kept smelling smoking when I was parked near all the sleeping people, but then I went and parked in a huge puddle so that nobody would come anywhere near me, and sure enough they did not - and then it was much easier for me to sleep and not be disturbed. Overall I would say it was a good experience although the gas here is a little bit more expensive than some of the truck stops up and down this highway, which means that I probably won't be filling up here regularly. However I appreciated being able to sleep here and use their facilities and buy a few things from the store - and I'll definitely be stopping in again someday. read more

I'm upgrading to two stars only because the staff are so friendly. That being said this place is kind of a mess. First, I'm really glad I didn't have a tire gauge with me and opt to put air in my tires first, apparently the hose is broken and doesn't work .... It's really ok to put a sign on it that indicates out of order. Next up I go inside to get a tire gauge. Thankfully I comment I wish the air station had one so I wouldn't have to buy one ... which led to finding out it was broken. They let me know the one out back worked though and I could use it (used on big rigs). I pull around back and get ready to use the air when an employee out back tells me that this air doesn't work either. He tells me I can go over to the shop and they have air and could get me set up. Everyone up to this point has been really friendly. They weren't as happy to see me pull up in my Jeep at the shop though. He went back in and after making wait about 5 min opened the garage and handed me the air line. At the end of the day I got gas and aired up my tires, so it worked out. I'd probably avoid this location in the future ... total time spent here nearly 30 min ...for a little air and some gas. Not good read more

Just came here for a bathroom stop. But like most Love's this place was clean despite being very busy! A huge variety of food and other trinkets. If you need gas, a shower, a restroom stop, coffee or a snack, this is the place to stop. Easy on & off the highway, plenty of room for big rigs to maneuver too. read more

Cheap gas, clean modern restrooms, and well stocked convenient store items make me love Loves. Just try to resist the massive selection of roller dogs including southwestern chicken and brats only 2 for $3.33. Dang, get me out of here before I can't resist. They handle the crowds of travelers well, moving people through the lines quickly. Fresh fruit looked good despite being healthy. The clerks are friendly and jovial working hard to up sell those dogs. Oh what the heck. I'll take 2! Mc Donald's next door for a quick coffee. Then back on the road. read more

Hard to believe it but all of the pumps printers are down today ‍ Killing me. There was some trash around the parking lot as well as inside but in their defense it was crazy busy so whoever was cleaning was probably being used elsewhere to keep up with customers. Tried getting a shower but it was over an hr wait for one to be cleaned. Ya I don't have that kind of time so I'll just hit one down the toad or find a pilot read more

This truck stop had the only drinkable coffee in cave city. There's a half dozen to choose from. I would have liked it more if they had paper cups. The styrofoam ones tear easily, and melt under this boiling coffee. No breakfast sandwiches here. They do have those taco-like tubes of food rolling all night/day if that's your thing for breakfast. read more

Absolutely Horrendous!!!! Nastiest bathrooms I've seen in my entire life!!!! I'd rather use the restroom in my pants. The pumps have no receipt paper either so you get to stand in line twice so you can get your receipt! The clerk "Cade", when asked how he was doing, replied "I'm alive.... for now anyway". A lot of parking for truckers. it's a hassle getting in and out for fuel. Showers really small. Bathrooms close at certain time for "cleaning" so you'll have to use a shower. There's a restaurant/bakery next door with really good hot fresh food and other goodies. read more

Wow. I seriously do not recommend stopping here. Did you not have nearly enough days to accommodate the cars, and with a little parking in front of the store people fill up, lock their door and go inside to fiddle around in the convenience store. Really have I seen such a collection of inconsiderate people as I have stopping here on a Sunday afternoon. read more

Great place to stop while traveling. Low gas prices, and plenty of pumps. Lots of food and drink options inside the store. So many, in fact, that the inside of the store is a little cramped. There is also a Subway attached to the store as well, for even more food options. Definitely a good place to stop when you just need that quick break before hitting the road again. read more

Only 3 stars cause parking so close we could be passengers with each other. Everything else is good very good. But truck parking is a true hassle if you can get in it cause its ALWAYS pack no matter time of day. Thats why rest areas are my choice of shutdwn location unless there is a TA and oh yes Im in there. But it's a good truck stop. read more

Now this is genius - a road side convenience store that sells time for showers facility. There are 7 shower stalls, and one of them is an accessible shower stall. Get a ticket and wait for your turn to shower. This place is beaming busy! Of course they carry the usual convenience stores merchandises, plus mobile accessories (phone holder, headset, battery, cables, etc), auto/truck supplies, gas, and a McDonald's and a Subway stores attached. We just finished a trip that took 4 months and we tried to only use Love's Travel Stops. They have the best coffee ... most have RV special parking and some have full hookups that were close to the front doors and dog park. Only complaint (and it was at every Love's). The dog parks were terrible - my one dog would not even enter the gates in a few of them - disgusting. It's not the pets that are disgusting but the pet parents that are pigs. but if someone could either clean like they clean restrooms or watch and monitor these pigs - it would be greatly appreciated - read more

Just stopped here with my toddler & infant. Bathrooms were horrid - none of the toilets were flushing & everyone in there was questioning & helping each other figure out how to flush them manually (one of them had wires hanging out where it's supposed to flush). My biggest concern - the changing table. I swear it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in over 20 years. I was gagging & disgusted that I had to change my little ones there. I used our changing pad on top of it like always, but was scared for my "trying to touch everything" 10mo daughter to touch any part of it. Just grime, maybe mold? Idk, but it was everywhere, all the little nooks & crannies. I only stop at loves while traveling like this because it's always the best & cleanest place for my littles. Don't ever plan on getting a tire changed here 6 hours and counting and they still don't even have it done

Loves offers a lot in addition to gas. They have relatively clean bathrooms, McDonald's, Subway, and a store with a wide variety of items. The McDonald's and Subway are what you expect and in line with independent locations price wise. The store carries everything from drinks to snacks, to gifts and knick knacks as well as outerwear. If you are on a trip and you forgot something, there is a good chance they have it here. Service was very friendly as well. Of note, this is a dry county. read more

After going inside, I don't think I would've stopped here . Sign says no hot water , no showers. So how is it the McD's and the other sleazy restaurant are still open with no hot water to wash stuff in??? Damn safest thing is keep going to the next stop!!! read more

This place is useless. There repair shop is super slow. Mechanics doesn't know anything. They took 6 hours to replace one flat tire. Wastage of time and money. read more

Nice Loves, didn't use showers at this one though. Fruit cups were fresh and delicious. Subway had garlic bread for sandwiches and you don't normally see that at other Subways. Lots of parking for big trucks - you don't normally see that at other Loves! :) read more

Loves Travel Stops are always pretty decent and clean, so whenever I stop at one I know it will be an experience that won't haunt me like other truck stops. This one was no exception, it was clean and the staff was friendly. What more can you ask for? read more
