Worst loves shower I've ever been too not clean and smelled like sewer water in the shower

I'm always a fan of Love's and this was a great stop today. Clean in the parking lot, clean at the pump area (and they have the super long squeegee sticks to reach the top of my windshield!), stocked and tidy at the coffee station, and clean in the men's room. Never has receipt paper in auto lanes forcing customers to walk in , wait behind 5 other customers, to get a receipt.

For some reason this has become a major landmark for me when I travel to southeast PA. I always stop here. The cashiers are friendly--I watched one help a traveler pick out medicine and tell him how to take it. The gas area gets busy, but I washed my windows today with the newest squeegee I've ever seen anywhere. -1 star because even though the bathrooms are not near the door, I always find it smells like a heavily used public restroom in here. It quite literally stinks and I don't understand how it can. What atrocities are happening in those bathrooms? read more

This is a busy and popular travel stop, and it's obvious why when you visit. The inventory in the shop is pretty amazing, particularly the choices for hot food, cold beverages, and snacks, and there's a McDonald's attached. The back of the shop has a large selection of automotive needs. Of course there's showers and clean rest rooms. Gas prices are average for the area. I was amused that with regard to travel souvenirs, they believe the world ends at the state line (i.e., nothing beyond Pennsylvania souvenirs, which is ok). There's often a line at checkout, but it moves very fast. read more

We stopped for gas & bathrooms on our road trip. Gas was cheaper than we had seen through the two previous states. Store was clean and well-organized. Lots of options for grab & go. They also have Chester's Chicken and McDonald's on-site. One stop shopping is always a plus when traveling. Bathroom was decent. It could use a deep cleaning on the walls & floor but toilets & sinks are clean. I didn't spend much time looking around as we are on the last leg of our trip & ready to get home. Still my go-to stop when headed to Harrisburg! Cashier greets everyone who comes in, restrooms are clean and I look forward to a snack of a few chicken tenders and potato wedges from Chester's Chicken when I have the munchies. You can find all kinds of snacks, hot dogs/sausages, fountain drinks, bottled drinks, coffee, automotive needs, gift items and more here. Legit one stop shop kind of place. Gas prices are usually reasonable. Easy on/off highway access makes this a definite plus. read more

It's a nice spot to stop by. We drove all the way from FL. A lot of space to park, pretty quiet spot. The guy working behind the counter on night shift was super friendly which made the experience even better. And they have McDonald's. read more

We stopped here on a cross country trip from West Texas to New York. I was asked three times while I was inside the convenient store if I could use any assistance, and everyone appeared to be very friendly. read more

Love's Travel Stop - a toilet with a toilet paper dispenser - Gas Stations Near Me - Jonestown, Pennsylvania

So far my least favorite Love's after traveling cross country twice. This place is too busy with too many fast driving trucks which are loud and overall it is too noisy. RVs should look elsewhere and will not get any rest here and don't even think about opening your windows without earplugs. RV have only 3 spots and there were trucks in two of them while we stopped. One positive is they have laundry and that is the only reason we stopped here. Very stressful stop otherwise. Take your life in your hands if walking your dog also due to chaotic nature of this place. read more

I have a a few "likes" in Pennsylvania, but not a lot of "loves." If you know what I mean. This is a pretty decent Love's with really nice views of the sky (as you see from my pix). I've slept here twice (it's safe enough, even though it's busy), and there's a McDonald's here too, and perfectly good bathrooms. It's a little hard to get in and out of, and the guy with the dog is super cool. read more

The truck stop it's self is not really bad it's actually the small limited space of parking for the trucks, the showers are not too bad and this loves has a McDonald's and Chester's chicken. read more

For some reason this location doesn't seem to show up correctly on either Yelp maps or Google maps, but if you take Exit 90 off I-81 North it is right in front of you at the bottom of the ramp. I don't normally review gas stations or fast food joints, but this is our go-to stop when we are heading north from DC. It is a little short of a full tank from NoVa, has a nice big area to walk a dog (but clean up after them please, nobody wants a long car ride with a shoe covered in poo), and has all the other amenities to make it a one-stop-shop. There are big, pretty clean bathrooms, a nice McDonalds, and a fried chicken place, as well as the usual Love's convenience store and gas station, all in one building. read more

Driving back from NY with my dog and stumbled upon this gas station. Could not believe they had a "dog park". A small fenced in area with a poopie bag station where I could let my dog off leash to release some energy before we got back on the road. The bathrooms were clean. It was the perfect pit stop. read more

Super convenient right off of I-81 gas prices were pretty reasonable. They also have a McDonalds attached to Loves the other nice thing although they do cater to truckers they actually have a separate entrance for cars. Once inside they have a pretty big convenience store area the restrooms inside are also quite clean. I'll have to remember this stop when passing through again. read more

I make it a point to stop at this Love's Travel Center every time I travel this stretch of 81. It's the perfect place to get out, stretch your legs, hit the bathroom, grab a soda or snack, and head back toward your destination. The 24 hour McDonald's attached is also a nice tough, and gas prices are pretty good, as well. read more

Greatest service from a truck stop ever, won't even mention the others. The service that the tire technicians from this truck stop provided was what one would expect from a service station 50 years - I assume. Bridgestone gave them the wrong tire size so they had to make a 46 mi one way trip, four times! Never did they complain; they were courteous, respectful and good spirited the entire time even after 1 am in the morning. read more

Do not stop here at night!!! I've stopped at this loves several times over the last few months running a dedicated route to upstate NY and this place is the worst at night; no one stays behind the counter to greet customers then you have to wait 5 to 15 minutes before someone decides to wait on you. Just the other night I swiped my card for the usual 450$ at the fuel desk after waiting 5 minutes for the clerk, then walked down to store desk for a cup of joe and cigars, waited 15 freaking minutes for some guy to mossy his way over when there where 5 other customers in line. This is a normal every night thing, that night was it. I'll take my business to Exxon. read more
