Showers were amazing! No dust or buildup on any of the vents. Air flow was amazing and humidity was low for a restroom. Good size and clean! Well stocked! Thank you shower team! updated: upon returning into the store to use the ladies restroom I was shocked to find fecal matter and blood splatter on the tile walls. The stalls are not very wide so I bumped into the wall. I am disgusted. Please do a full disinfect! Unacceptable to have human waste clearly on the walls. This place needs to do something with their dog park. Whoever designed it does not have dogs. All rocks in 100 degree weather... not a good combo. I was wondering why 3 other people took their dogs in and immediately left. Took my dog in and she started doing a ouch dance and I felt the rocks and took her out right away. No shade or anything. The desert of Arizona is pretty desolate around here, so I figured to stop at this Love's, use the restroom, grab a snack and continue onwards. I was not needing gas today, so parking in the RV spots was easy. Inside, the men's room was clean, the coolers were fully stocked and the coffee station was clean. LOVE's! Please remove these deadbolt locks in the restrooms. I was stuck that no matter what I moved it to would not release the lock! The attendee came to help me but could not open even with a key. She had to put down her jacket so I could crawl under to escape. No manager apology or anything as if something like this couldn't have been worse if I was traveling alone. Most loves are relatively nice and have clean bathrooms. This one is not and does not. It's small and bathrooms are gross. The coffee is old, things weren't stocked and we had to request (e.g. small soda cups). When I told them the half and half machine was empty they said ok but clearly had no intention of refilling it in time for us to take advantage. Original 1-star review: Absolutely horrible service. My father is disabled as he just had knee replacement surgery. He wanted to buy lottery tickets, mind you we are from California and our lottery age restrictions are at 18 and i am 19. Arizona's is at 21 and i had no idea. As we are just passing through we agreed to stop at this Love's to buy tickets. My dad had to remove his medical equipment just to go inside, as understandably, needed to have a person of age. After going inside the absolute b*tch of a cashier wouldn't sell us the tickets and assumed i wanted them for myself. Don't ever stop at this place if you have someone disabled as the cashier will not understand. Total Karen! I am beyond disappointed with Love's at this point and never thought service could get this bad. Edit: Im upping my rating to 3 stars as the manager we called was super helpful and kind. (Go figure he was from California and was familiar with the lottery laws of the state) i had my mother call him as i was way to angry to deal with it. This is based on my experience with Chester's Chicken since there's no separate Yelp for that restaurant. Fried battered corners had no seasoning so it was bland. I peeled off the batter to eat the corn and it was bland. Biscuit was very heavy and overly done in the outside but heavy/sticky on the inside. The chicken strips were really good. Thick and not too much breading for the amount of chicken you get. Good proportion. Well seasoned. Dipping sauces were good. Service was friendly. They were out of chicken strips and apologized and said how long it would be and they stuck to that timing. I would only order the chicken strips next time because they were very good. There are so many reasons why My rating is one star ....unfortunately I couldn't rate it lower. Here's why: There are five showers per/100 truck parking spots The showers water pressure is next to a bare drip and the shower head was busted so it wouldn't stay in place causing me to have to lean against the wall or shower with one hand holding the shower head up . The shower curtain .... omfg so slimy and disgusting . The floors and walls were covered in mildew and mold. And the shower towels smelled dirty . Clean showers and very professional team. My truck druver friends are there rwice a week and even the fellas that work the registers by the showers remember to offer the wife that likes an extra towel, without her asking. Their food areas are very inviting and delicious. I started ti join the stops and visits. Its a great place to stop. Too many times you have to wait tobget gas at different places, Loves don't play. An employee finds out and they waste no time letting the drivers know not to be taking a break while other truck drivers are waiting for fuel. Awesome teamwork. read more

The Rolling Romantics are Rolling made a stop by the Love's in Joseph City, AZ and it was one of the worst we have stopped at. The restrooms were filthy , the ATM machine didn't work, their ice machine was inoperable and the Manager Kevin was totally nonchalant. I approached Crystal a cashier and showed her pictures of the restroom and shortly there after she went to clean it and apologized to me but her comment about it being filthy was CLASSIC; "THE RESTROOM WAS FILTHY BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE VERY MANY FEMALE DRIVERS THAT COME THROUGH"... I am a big fan at stoping at truck stops when we are driving cross country. On this trip we were heading home from AZ to NC. it's a long trip when you have 2 dogs and 4 people traveling. This location was pretty clean, restrooms were well stocked and spotless. The food selection was pretty poor but I was not interested in eating anything from here. The staff was super friendly and greeted us as we walked in. The outside of the establishment was pretty dirty. Trash was everywhere. That's why I knocked a star off. I could swear that I was here a few days ago, also but Yelp was "down for maintenance" in the afternoon a few times. I wanted to make it through Texas (or through New Mexico a few days ago) by filling here. The pumps work well, and diesel is easy to find. I went inside to buy something and it's not bad, though I really wouldn't recommend the restrooms. I'm not sure what's happening with Love's all over the place. I stopped buying fuel there because 8-10 times I'm getting gas (which is often), I'm approached by someone with a gas can begging for gas or holding a sign asking for gas money. I've talked with employees there and they say they address it but when it happens so often it's obvious the problem is ignored. I realize this has become a problem everywhere but management needs to pay more attention to what is going on at the pumps and parking lot. The other services there are good. Every time I fuel my truck here, it runs terrible!! Running through this area frequently recently and this fuel stop is preferred by the company I drive for. However, I'm hoping to change that as I'm tired of constantly changing clogged fuel filters!! Don't have this problem anywhere in the country, at ANY other truck stop; just at this one! Fuel pump nozzles leak diesel all over your hands and truck, there's never any soap in the wash buckets, and half the card readers don't work. I'd rather wait behind a FedEx truck taking his 30 minute break on the fuel island at the FlyingJ, than come here anymore. Sorry for the harsh review, but this stop has been going downhill for years. This is the smallest, oldest Loves I have been to the bathroom is dirty. One stall someone had a blow out on the seat, and another stall the door don't lock. If need gas or food it is good to go. There is a Chester's Chicken and Subway both great fresh food. read more
