Truck Stop Courtesy - After Fueling pull up to white line to clear the diesel pumps for the next guy
    Dave O.

If the skies over Mims, Florida seems a little brighter these days it might be because the new Love's Truck Stop finally opened after what seemed like a forever construction project. This brand's new location is exactly what this area needed, it's just a block off I-95 on Route 46. The towering sign is one we all know well and it can easily be seen as you approach the exit. If you're driving a Tractor Trailer Rig or a Class A Diesel Motor Coach life just got better in these parts. Well don't get me wrong everyone is welcome here but I'm not sure all can appreciate the convenience that a fueling island provides for these oversized vehicles. The fuel counter was staffed by a friendly and welcoming staff. Being all diesel purchases must be prepaid it's likely you'll be returning to the counter to get your actual charge receipt after filling up, it's better to over estimate the amount of fuel you need instead of short filling which would require another trip inside before topping off the tank, I rarely let the tank get empty because at today prices that could be greater than $400 fully loaded. Love's offers a lot of amenities for the diesel rig community including DEF at the fuel island, CAT Scales and even a Speedco Truck Lube and Tires onsite as well as a fully stocked inventory of everything trucking on the inside. It's close proximity to my residence will certainly ensure I'll return again and again to fill up before parking my rig in between trips...

I've got to say that this is by far the nicest Loves I've been to in a very long time. I've never seen isles that had back lit displays & now I'll never look @ them the same again. Everything in here is top notch & crazy clean. Even the diesel islands were nice & u never see that @ a truck stop because your usually trying not to walk through oil or diesel that's everywhere.

By far one of the best Loves I have ever been to. Tire shop was quick on getting my truck pulled in.

The owner says he is a Vet, but if you meet him and his horrible attitude concerning other Vets who have been through the hell of war you can tell he either lies or was never in the heat of battle. Some of his employees are nice, but a few of them have no customer service skills. I will never go back . To personally view and talk with one Veteran who is being discriminated against you will not have to look far. This 7-Eleven sits between Hopkins and Palm. If you cross Palm you will see a closed down white building. This Veteran lives out side and sleeps under the shelter of this building to keep from getting rained on. He will be in a wheelchair missing one leg. He gets a little money from a disability check. So he is not broke and does not panhandle. They being the 7-Eleven, will not even allow him on thier property. They know that he smokes Kool cigarettes, and when I went inside the store to buy him a couple packs they would not even sale them to me. I now go to the Sunco down the street to buy what he needs and or wants. I also take him to his bank so he can withdraw money and places to buy food. If you are in the area stop in to see and help him. His name is Ralph.
