We went from Fort Worth to Norman, Oklahoma. I was surprised how affordable it was. It was pleasant, with more than enough space to move around and be comfortable in your seat. Transferring from car to car was exciting for my children, and we were glad to have access to the cafe car. We chose to sit on the upper deck so we could see out further. My girls were mesmerized and caught some amazing video and photos of our trip. I was glad to have access to WIFI on our trip to OK and bummed not to on the trip home. But that is my only complaint. I will make sure to better take note of that next time. But it gave us time to rest and read, which was a nice change from being so "plugged in" constantly.

The airport security line was less than a 5 minute wait. The shuttle from the airport to the car rental agency was so easy. Love the art at the airport, too. So many flowers and a cowboy sculpture. It's a medium sized airport, so there aren't a bunch of trains and causeways to deal with. At the same time, it's large enough to have plenty of nice amenities, restaurants, and shopping near the gate. There's also some nice OKC-esque art and sculpture peppered around the inside and outside of the terminal. My only issue was that it was hard to find where to go for rental cars. Signage could definitely be improved. They were doing some remodeling during my last visit, so maybe this is on the agenda!

We all commented on how beautiful the OU campus is and what a wonderful stadium they have. However, the best part of our experience was the friendliness and hospitality of the OU fans. SEVERAL went out of their way to ask us if we were having a good time and if we were treated well. In the stadium many people helped assist my friend to his seat in the 50th row. He has Parkinson's Disease and climbing stairs puts him at his limits. There were many helping hands to get him to his seat. Anyway, we can't wait to return to Ou for another game. We are in the Dallas area so it is an easy drive for us. Just a big thank you to all the OU fans for making us feel special in your town!
