We visit a lot of Love's when in the truck. They range all over in quality and consistency. Some have great showers and low stock. Others have cold water and mean associates. You just never know what you will get. I am always so happy to post good and positive reviews. Well done Pecos, TX Loves! All associates made eye contact and smiled and were on point of their duties. The bathrooms were overall very clean (just some rude customers who can't follow signs). Nothing smelled bad and the counters where food and drink were so clean and well stocked. Nobody here was trained to fill propane until 3pm AND no one knew the lock code for the sewer dump!!! Useless!

I was very upset when I arrived at the location 5202 S Cedar St Pecos, TX 79772. I parked to get gas and stay over night due to me being on reset. I asked the sale associate where is free public water hose for the truck drivers.He then advised me that Loves is private and his manager can said he can make up his own rules. This was very disappointing because I never experienced at any other location therefore I had to settle without any public water which I was using to prepare my food during my downtime. read more

I recommend this site as a safe and friendly environment to park for a rest when traveling. The establishment is busy, has friendly service, and is clean for as many people going in and out. It has 3 choices of food eateries and they are FAST! The pumps were kind of slow but that is the only negative. read more

Worst customer service at their Chester fried chicken place in store Asked for a 4 piece dark lady said we only have wings & thighs got 3 wings 1 thigh . Said we're out of wedges for 12 min . I said ok can I have a biscuit instead sure . Board said 6.99 it rings up 7.49 plus tax. I told her board said 6.99 got rude an said do you want it ok then rings the biscuit for 1.29! I asked wasn't that a replacement for the wedges ? NO was her answer very rudely.. never again going back or using the gas! I make a point to stop at Love's because of a horrible experience I had at a Pilot, as such I avoid all Pilot's and Flying J's. Every Love's I stop at is clean and very similarly organized and laid out. The bathrooms are always clean and the staff are always friendly. This location is not an acceptation to the rule. I had a very positive experience here and the fuel was well priced. I will continue to frequent Love's locations. read more

The bathrooms are super clean, and honestly that's all that matters in my eyes. There are six stalls in the ladies room. Everything is automatic (toilet, soup dispenser, and faucet) so you don't need to touch anything. It's awesome. They have many gas pumps so there aren't any lines. There is a line for the showers (but unless you're a truck driver I don't see that being an issue). Employees are nice and helpful. Another great thing: there are three fast food choices! There's a Subway (rude employees and ran out of items from the menu), McDonald's, and a fried chicken place (I think the name is Chester's). Anyways, it's a good quick travel stop! I always stop here on my travels between El Paso and Midland. read more

Well glad I can review this store. If you have to stop get ready like all the truck stops in this town. Like all other fuel stops in Pecos they rip the trucker and the oilfield workers off. Fuel is extremely high at this town on the interstate. The pickup drivers have learn this rule, we drive in town and save several cents on fuel. The restrooms here are horrible at this truck stop. They share the restroom with McDonalds. This place is extremely busy with trucks, oilfield and travelers. Every fuel station will be busy here. Some workers will park in front of pumps and go eat. Parking is terrible at lunch. They have bulk ice machines in the parking lot. It is hard to get in and out on Hwy 285. Be careful oilfield traffic is everywhere. This is one of the busiest places in West Texas drilling. read more

I am a worker of Loves Travel Stop. I have a problem with walking for long amounts of time, but my boss has been able to help work around my problem help me be useful for them. I was motoring hard immediately after work in El PasoTX-USA, bound to a friend in GrandfallsTX-USA, and, having napped partway at a rest area, stopped here to recharge my body & refuel my motor vehicles. It was typical of all Love's truck stops: exceptionally clean, excellent bathrooms, great merchandise & food, and, most importantly, the bright, cheery, expert Luz, one of the store cashiers. She was enthusiastic despite a long graveyard shift, and can certainly make the dreeryness of the road--especially I-10/20 seem not so difficult. When I motor, she represents one of the reasons I always look forward to stopping at Love's, which gets my "Wheel of Approval!" read more

Ordered a meal at the McDonald's connected to the travel shop - chicken sandwich, fries, and a large iced tea. I left to get back on the road before checking the order. When I opened the bag, there were neither napkins nor ketchup packets. I overcame this lack of consideration and ate the sandwich. Given that the sandwich had mayonnaise smeared on the outside of its wrapper, you would think that napkins would be an obvious courtesy, but apparently what's obvious to me isn't obvious to the paragons of customer service at McDonald's. After finishing the sandwich and before digging into the condiment-less fries, I unwrapped the straw and pressed it into the lid of my iced tea. I drew a strawful into my mouth and was greeted not by a chilled pekoe brew, but by carbonation and corn syrup. It was Coke. Congratulations, Pecos McDonald's. You've succeeded in giving me a trifecta of grievances. read more

This is one of the worst truck stop. I would never stop here again, waiting for a shower plenty of people waiting n there s only one guy cleaning n taking his sweet time while the fuel attendant doesn't help out either. When there s no customer at the fuel desk , they would just wait there till there s a customer instead of helping out n also don't know where the manager is doing also this place sucks big time. read more

The Love portion of this travel stop is a solid 3 stars. They have a random collection of snacks, gifts and sundries. They don't sell beer in singles which is a shame. The Subway attached to it drags this stop way down. They are insanely slow and inefficient. 25 minutes for an untoasted Subway club, really? Save yourself any grief and stop elsewhere. read more

Never liked this place since I was a younger man in a small town. Quit seeking beer at midnight because if some sort of dogmatic belief system. Then they put there big ugly logo on my basketball teams jersey. Now they are putting there name on our city's new park stage and lawn. Will never go to a Loves again. Ever. read more
