Stopped here on my trip from California to Texas. This was the only place to eat before the next stop which was 3 hrs away. After being told from the Subway worker it would be 15 mins it actually ended up being over a 30min wait. We proceeded to ask when we could order only to be told 15mins. As if she didnt remember she told us that same script 30mins prior. It wasn't just my family and I that was waiting it was others as well. I must say the workers in the Loves area was very attentive and helpful. However, the food like hot dogs etc was limited since many opt for that since the food portion of the gas station was "open" but really closed. What a waste of time. Well me and my sister really wanted supway and we showed up around 11:35pm and they proceeded to tell us that it'll be 10 to 15 min because overnight is still not showing up. It's now going on 12:10pm this is completely ridiculous! What happened to staying on your till until next shift arrived! I'm sorry but Sonora loves I think y'all have officially gotten lazy! This place used to be fun having friends come over and eating in the dining room and talking and now it's like oh you gotta wait 45min to an 1hr to get a sandwich or any type of service. Greetings fellow foodies, Continuing on our road trip, we stopped for an early lunch in Sonora, Texas at Loves. Loves is a large truck stop with clean restrooms and an attached Subway and Chester's Chicken. We ordered the four piece chicken strip, biscuits, and fries meal with honey mustard and buffalo sauces. For those who don't enjoy tons of seasoning, you will enjoy the chicken strips. The person serving our food was extremely polite and helpful. She took pride in her work. Overall, the mall style restaurant area was clean. Great place to stop, fuel up, use the restroom, and pickup a quick snack. Drive carefully foodies. read more

My first gas and restroom stop at Love's Travel Stop in Sonora, TX, after leaving New Braunfels, TX. Gas prices were still decent. Restroom was clean. Always enjoy my short visit at Love's. Gas prices are highest in area by 40 cents a gallon. At truck gas area there was No water in buckets, no paper towels and both squeegees were bad. It's the worst maintained Loves we have stopped at!! read more

There's a DOG PARK!!! Caution: a small part of the bottom of the fence is open - a chihuahua/terrier sized pup could escape, so watch ur lil guy closely. Located at Love's truck stop/general gas station next to Subway. Plenty of parking and benches inside the park. Watch ur dog very closely because there are several openings in the fence at the bottom, and some dogs would be able to crawl underneath the entire fence since it doesn't hit the floor. read more

This gas station/convenience store is super duper awesome! For most of my life, there have only been disgusting/gross gas station bathrooms along my numerous I-10 journeys. I'm so glad that Love's opened this new location. There are plenty of gas pumps, clean bathrooms, and plenty of snacks. The service is prompt and friendly. Great location right off I-10. Easy to access on and off Interstate. They have plenty of pumps and truck parking in the back. It is completely separate from the car lot which helps avoid any congestion. The store was well stocked, clean and the employees were very friendly! Connected to the store is a Subway and Chesters Fried Chicken. It's very open and plenty of seating. The employees in this area were also super friendly. Often times it is hard to give a gas station five stars. Normally something is wrong or not clean. Not in this case. They definitely deserve the five star rating!! read more

Called in a road call for a broken air pressure pipe and mount when the mechanic came he didn't have da mount I told him it defeated the purpose of him, putting it on without the amount I told his boss so his boss told him to make a mount instead of going to get on the mount then broke off and the pipe as well waste of 800 dollars read more

A mini dog park in the middle of Texas! We were on a 2 day trip and randomly stopped here for snacks and restrooms and were pleasantly surprised to find they had a small dog park. Our pups had not been able to run around for days without a leash, so this was magnificent. I'll be sure to stop here anytime I'm passing through. Also, the restrooms were clean! read more

I was finally able to motor far from El Paso County, not violating border closures by going to MAGNIFICENT MEXICO or adjacent New Mexico, but helping my most favorite #1 daughter relocate in awesome AustinTX-USA. I still followed the CDC/local recommendations of social distancing, wearing a mask, and washing my hands. I really appreciated "pay-at-the-pump" and social distancing marked off inside the store/Subway restaurant. I absolutely enjoyed a relatively quick in-and-out despite the popularity of this full-featured auto & tractor-trailer stop. For me, I had spent much of the day exploring backcountry just North of I-10/290 between Austin and Sonora, but with the Sun setting and another 400miles/640kms to motor West on the well-marked/safe (the only hazard being other road users or excessive speed ) I-10. And it is best motored through the night! What's more, although the primary clientele are motorized, people like me who are biketouring could certainly take advantage of the same benefits as them! I highly recommend this important stop to everybody; it certainly has my coveted "iWheel of Approval!" read more

Staff was amazing...do NOT STOP HERE FOR FOOD! The "restaurant" side was awful. Every seat that was marked available was filthy, the drink machine was overflowing with ice & none of the drinks worked. I mistakenly ordered from Chesters chicken it all tasted like it was cooked last week & left under the heating lights since then & the gravy looked like water downed vomit. This place was a godsend. We blew a tire about a quarter of a mile away from this location. We didn't have a jack or tire iron to put the spare on so we walked over to check it out. They didn't happen to carry car jacks, but the workers were incredibly helpful and one of the employees jerry, I think his names was let us borrow his. A hero. If you have to stop, stop here. For fur parents- there is a nice, clean, grassy dog park, great if it's a hot Texas day. They have every coffee product you could think of, to include cold brew and nitro. There is practically an apple store with very charger/electronics you could ever need. And finally, the bathrooms very clean. For a long day of driving, this was a desert oasis gas station. read more

I love this Loves. The windshield cleaning fluid was fresh and strong, the wand was so long I could clean my whole windshield from one side of my car. This was a nice change from all the other stops along my route. Clean bathrooms too with nice warm water from the automatic sinks. Cashiers were friendly, smiling and helpful. Also on top of food and drinks this stop has anything you could need, from a change of clothes to a new charging cable. If I'm ever traveling this way again the loves at exit 404 will be my planned stop. read more

This is the fifth time we have eaten at this Love's since it opened. It was cleaner when first opened. Today there were very few customers. The Men's Room was clean. The male worker who had no customers could have been wiping the tables down; but he wasn't. We had to search for a clean table. There were NO forks if you ordered a salad from the Subway. I am disappointed that this establishment will become an eyesore if the managers are not more observant. read more

Incompetent staff in repairs. Front desk guy was an arrogant nitwit. First said he had a fuel filter then didn't. Said it's not in stock anywhere. I walked outside; made a call and had it delivered in 5 minutes. Acted like I was a bother when I had been waiting all night ( literally). I suggest anyone needing services to look elsewhere. Hopefully in time they fix their customer service and knowledge of obtaining parts. Then he put me in line to start the wait process from the beginning. I'm now 17 hours waiting. Travel stop is convenient. I imagine the dog park is owned by them too? What a nice surprise stopping for gas & a Subway sandwich lunch to encounter a dog park. Nice concept with picnic tables too. Would be nicer with shade of some sort in the hot Texas heat. Also would be amazing if irresponsible dog owners would pick up their dog's poop! This deters from a very welcoming effect. Oh & the garbage bins need to be emptied on a more regular basis too. All in all, my 2 4-legged fur babies could roam around from our long drive. read more

This is by far the worst Travel Stop I've been to. After driving over 2,000 plus miles I decided to stop for a break and shower and wash and dry my clothing. Only to find out that there is only one washing machine working and one dryer working. Both machines took my money and the manager refused to leave the office to assist me with this problem. I was told to call the 1-800 number after calling CSC which is the company that services the machines, I was told to report this to the manager. Thanks a lot for your customer service the next time I will keep driving instead of stopping at any Loves location again. read more
