Do not have signing up about no dead heading and no car parking in the truck parking however. There are several trucks park in the red zone (fire truck and gasoline regulations about parking near pumps). And we are an oversized load and require 2 spaces to accommodate the load we are carrying. You allow a truck to park in a non existent space between us and the tractor trailer next to us. I have no issues bringing in DOT or the local fire and police authorities to handle the concerns we are currently having with Loves Management and uniform application of parking. We have been parked here all day awaiting permits and not one single employee or driver has been non understanding of our over dimensional load being parked double. Yet your manager will walk out here and insist he is just. His truck will fit easily into the car/truck parking in the front. He isn't carrying a load, doesn't have a trailer and literally doesn't have any of his DOT licensing displayed. So again how do you even know he is a commercial vehicle. Looks like a work truck to me. Police or don't police the parking lot but don't come out here and walk past 6 trucks parked in a red zone to come get involved if you aren't going to uniformly apply your own rules. read more

Clean and the cashier was so thoughtful she gave me a cup and napkins and when I looked confused about the cup she said "for the sunflower seed shells." And I was floored because of how considerate she was, and thought of providing me something FOR FREE that would help out without even asking. That's great customer service right there. As a truckers wife, I see some of the worst bathrooms, showers, and other accommodations. This was by far one of the most pleasant and well kept Loves I've ever been to. The shower, while it didn't get as warm as my husband likes (scalding) I felt like it was amazing. The shower room was clean and well maintained, the staff was friendly and helpful, and super accommodating. The shower room even had a nice spot to sit and put your things. There were plenty of hooks to hang our things. It was just an all around great expense. Keep up the great work, y'all! read more

This is a big shout out to Sarah!! Sarah works inside Love's at Chester's chicken. I am a big fan of the fried chicken liver. I've gone to a few locations and no one makes them like Sarah. Crispy, crunchy outside, and soft on the inside. The honey mustard dipping sauce she suggested was a hit. Great customer service from this young lady. Love's Travel Stops are the best travel centers we stopped at during our two week camping roadtrip with fantastic friends!! All of them were easier to get in and out of while pulling a trailer. This particular location has a Chesters Fried Chicken shop. We tried their fried chicken, and it was yummy. The store looked terrific. Very clean store with really clean restrooms. Always a plus!! I am also a fan of their many private brand products which are quite affordable. Gasoline prices are reasonable. So why only 4 stars? Well, customer service was just A-Okay (3 stars). I come here because they always have very clean restrooms. They have done a great job with covid 19 issues. Gas prices are ultra competitive!!! It's a very busy place, but they handle it. The Ice tea is also too notch! They make it fresh all the time and it's really brewed. Always a pleasure stopping here when I am running up and down the freeway. read more

We got a flat on our 5th wheel trailer and stopped at the Loves Tuck Stop tire center. The manager came out and looked at it. Although he said they typically only work on tractor trailer trucks, he would send an employee out to the side parking lot so they could quickly jack it up and put the spare on. He said he'd send someone out as soon as they had an opening. We were there for 3.5 hours! After an hour, another customer said he had been waiting over 3 hours for them to charge his battery. That's when we called our roadside through our insurance. Just as our tire was fixed by our roadside (3.5 later) and we were getting into our truck, that's the one and only time the manager came out and asked if we needed their help. We felt like they were mocking us. It was a terrible experience. read more

If I'm on the road with my family, hauling our trailer somewhere, we like to stop at Love's Truck Stops. We have a big trailer and Love's are always easy to get in and out of. Their fuel is always competitively priced. This Love's has a Chester Fried Chicken and a McDonald's. Chester Fried Chicken makes some of the best fried chicken out there (sorry KFC and Popeyes ) It's the breading on the chicken. Love it! read more

Chesters Chicken, located at this truck stop is delicious! We regularly get the 6 piece Tender Snack, with one side and a biscuit and share it between me and the hubby. We like it dipped in the Frank's Red Hot Honey Stung sauce, then dipped in ranch dressing. So good. Usually, the cashier gives you the biggest pieces, and that is great! We've had her give us an extra one when they're not big. These are addicting! Tender and juicy. The Loves Truck stop is good too. The store is clean and they even have giant Snicker bars and Reeses cups (1/2 lb each x 2) during Christmas. I haven't seen the restrooms or showers, as we live local. read more
