It was a VERY hot day and the return trip the sun was bearing down on me, I got over heated and it was a difficult walk back. There are only 2 benches to sit, and they're close together so I had to go a long way before I could sit. Plus a couple of stretches without shade. It was my own fault for going during a heat wave. I'll wait for some cooler weather before returning. I can't wait to see what's further out on this trail.

Two dog parks, a huge playground where we had a picnic, horses, a very large cow and many smaller animals in the children's barn. Plenty of space to run around and very nice, clean restrooms. We went on a Tuesday, so there were no parking or admission fees. We will definitely go back in the warmer weather. What a Gem!

A beautiful large and windswept beach in the North Eastern suburbs of Boss-town up on the North Shore that is gorgeous and much less touristy and much more unspoiled than the more famous and curvaceous Revere Beach. I love both but if I had to pick a favourite I'd pick Revere. I definitely love coming here though and it reminds me a lot of Newcastle in the northeast of England.

I don't know if the type of vacation (hiking and camping) helped to self select the people but by the end of the week we had gotten really close as a group. SUP YO also picked amazing guides. They were fun, funny, knowledgeable, and basically one of the gang with guide authority. The owner of the company came with us on this trip. She was fun, did everything we did, never put on any airs, and I felt like she was "one of us.". All of the food, hotel, etc was taken care of. We even celebrated a birthday for one one of the hikers in the group! I am looking for more trips to go on with SUP YO and a group of us are planning to go in another trip or a weekend hike together again!!
