There are a few nose-in parking spaces and the trailhead with some signs. The park extends from the road to the seaside and the trails are well worn. The view at the end is amazing and today was a warm and mostly clear day. Please don't stand too close to the edge while you get your selfies. And of course, never hike alone! It was good to see some small upgrades around the land, starting with a revamp of the parking area and more identifiable main signage to lead you into the park. The Trustees of Reservations segment of the land is now also more clearly delineated, though there is no additional admission charge or anything like that. The trails themselves maintain a timeless and spirited quality that encourages exploration and staying in the moment. The views are certainly something to behold, which I appreciate more now as an adult and needing to make the effort if/when I want to return to these surroundings.

Just a big beautiful lawn going out to rocks and the sea! It's a walk thru the woods to get to what they call the ocean lawn; one is via a hill and the other is flat. Trail is well kept and pretty easy to follow, and the fact the you have to walk thru it to get to the ocean lawn and "earn it" probably keeps the crowding down. Technically speaking the ocean lawn is only open fri-sun I think, at least when I visited. One of my favorite Trustees properties!

The landscaping is absolutely beautiful-all types of Dahlias planted along the park with other types of flowers as well. Such a beautiful pop of color with all those flowers. In addition they had a few statues along the way which paid tribute to their sailing past and present. This park is definitely a place the community comes to. It was nice to just take a stroll and sit and look out into the harbor. By the way when we visited there was plenty of street parking available, definitely a plus.

There are quite a few statues along the walk, including one that is a memorial to the wives and children of sailors out to sea. There's a nice, wide path to walk on and as we did, we observed many people walking together with their dogs, babies in strollers, jogging, kids on razor scooters, bikes, etc. The atmosphere was very friendly and the views were stunning. There are plenty of benches where one could just sit and people-watch or enjoy the sounds of the ocean. We enjoyed watching the drawbridge go up a few times so that boats could pass through to/from the harbor. This is some place we'd walk at frequently if we lived in the area.

Fisherman beach is a small beach but enjoyed by so many…read more I happen to stop here because I needed to take a walk and wanted a water view, sun and sand fairly close to my house. This beach made my whole day complete. There's parking, sometimes you'll see fisherman taking in their catch of the day. Most of all it's a special place and I how often you visit it like me that it will bring a smile to your face.

It was a VERY hot day and the return trip the sun was bearing down on me, I got over heated and it was a difficult walk back. There are only 2 benches to sit, and they're close together so I had to go a long way before I could sit. Plus a couple of stretches without shade. It was my own fault for going during a heat wave. I'll wait for some cooler weather before returning. I can't wait to see what's further out on this trail.
