I went up there to Lowe's in Clinton North Carolina to buy a fire stick there were 34.99 on the app the lady that was up front I think her name was Lori she needs to be fired she told me to go ahead and order it on the app cuz they wanted to charge me $60 for the same exact item number that they had in the store and she would go get it for me so I punched it in and bought it and then she told me I would have to wait to the 18th which is Wednesday and I went around and around with all of them even the store manager Steve a horrible manager he needs to be fired Lowe's needs new people in there especially Steve and Lori that's my opinion I spent a lot of money in that store to be treated like shit I would sure like to talk to the district manager and let him know how I've been treated on the 14th which was Saturday trying to get a fire stick from that store the manager Steve had the fire stick in his hand and told me I would have to have it shipped to my house or come back to the store to pick it up Wednesday cuz he didn't have none in stock that's a lie he had it in his hand I showed him the same item number that he had in his hand that I've had to wait till Wednesday to get so I got mad and canceled it so they lost out on $60 which was online for $35 but the bottom line is when people buy stuff from that store we actually paying their salary and it's not right to be treated like I have been treated at that store that's not the first time I've been treated bad at that store read more

The outside lawn and looks horribly maintained. Employees at customer service are rude and don't belong working with customers. The managers are either propped up talking or not around the floor at all. The store needs different management. They're racist so they only hiring Afro American or Hispanics. Lowes has the sorryest customers service in cliton nc i've every seen. we bought a washing machine, they delivered and it had 2 big dents in it so they said they would bring another one out wednesday here it is friday no new washer yet. Looked on Website before driving 20 miles to store.arrived at 5:58 to be waved at from inside the store they were closed. I guess they closed early at 6:00. Other people were leaving the store saying they closed early. Even closing early without posting it .....it was still 5:58. When did you really close? The Clinton Lowe's is well stocked and neat. There are associates available to assist when needed, but they don't bother you. Their stock set is not as high end as Raleigh, NC, but it is sufficient for the many new and home improvement projects I have going. read more

These past few months I haven't had anything good to say about Lowes after an aweful experience with purchasing cabinets and countertops. I have seen a HUGE improvement in the store since the change management has changed. This is the worst Lowe's I have ever dealt with. You call the store and the person who answers the phone is rude and disconnects you. Not once but three times. Then you finally get someone to ask a question to and she is rude and hangs up on me in mid sentence. What kind of customer service training do these people have? Called around 8pm to ask if store had the size HVAC duct we needed. I didn't have internet service where I was, so I couldn't check online. After playing phone tag with 2 or 3 people and being placed on hold for 20 minutes I finally spoke to a person who said "no, we don't have that." Went home and checked online and it said there were 6 in the store, by then the store was closed. Went the next morning and found it on the shelf in plain sight. Laziness or just incompetence? Either way, poor service. They delayed my senior parents from getting their a/c fixed in August. read more

If I could no stars I would... this is just one out of many horrible experiences. I was in need of a shower door for a remodel. Found the door of my needs and the box looked like it had been ripped opened to a five year old on Christmas morning. After having no assistance I loaded the door to my cart and headed my way to the checkout line. Got checked out and still had no assistance on loading the cumbersome package. Made it back to the house to only find most of the parts were missing. Returned it to the store and find another door. Only two doors to this spec remained. The assistant opened one to find more pieces were missing. Third door.. opened it and said all pieces were in the also shredded box. So it's 11:22 pm the guy remolding came back to my house to put last piece of the puzzle to my bathroom up and guess what...... the rails are missing. This is getting pathetic! read more

Went to Lowe's in Clinton to grab a certain Christmas Tree they showed to have in stock. We normally shop in Fayetteville but unfortunately they didn't have it in stock. Coming to Clinton was worth the extra 10-15 min drive. Not only did we find the tree we were looking for but got the best customer service around. Had a gentleman take the time to show us the trees and features, after finding the correct tree he even took the time to load it in the cart. After checking out we proceed to cover the box with bags we brought as it was a rainy day. Coming up a little short and not being 100 percent prepared the same gentleman came over to help and provided the material to cover and protect our investment. Would not stand behind a sprayer we bought for yardwork that had a faulty spray lever. Customer service poor and the salesperson bordered on rude. A shame but of course, not too many places for customers to shop for like things in the area without traveling a long distance. Seems like they know they have you "over a barrel". read more
