Went in for some simple shark vac mop replacements, they weren't stocked on the shelves, but I could see where they should be. Figured it wouldn't hurt to ask, so a guy scanned and checked for me, reluctantly climbed on the ladder and got one box down for me. Left the rest of them up there.... Went shopping for gardening items and a patio set.. like everyone else in this pandemic.. and had a terrible experience. I have shopped with lowes numerous times and its always a problem. Not only at this branch either. The customer service sucks and you always get the "i work at lowes" so dont expect more from me attitude. On this occasion apparently my military ID was not good enough to verify that i was in the military. It is now required to register online with 'my lowes' even though I have shopped here plenty of times without needing it. Clerk and manager refused to help and suggested submitting a claim. They were rude and in the middle of saying something took a call without even saying excuse me. Poor customer service. A government issued ID is not enough to verify military service but membership with their MY LOWES is? Everytime i shop at lowes i always say i wish i went to home depot instead. I do not recommend LOWES in Crestview, FL. I just went looking for a pressure washer and an appliance extension cord. There was 2 pressure washers on the aisle, 1 TroyBuilt with a 3 star rating. and one on the top shelf missing parts. There was an end cap with the Greenwise brand with 2 or 3 different models. Not interested in that brand. There were at least 7 more models that are offered but not in stock. 3 people with red vests are at an endcap 1 aisle over and not once was I offered help. One of the actually walked right by me and then walked by again. So I give up on the pressure washer and head out in search of an extension cord for my fridge. I stop a red vest clad person (elderly man) and ask if he could help me with the choices? I picked up one that said A/C Extension cord. I ask if that would work for my refrigerator? I said it pulls 6.9 Amps. His response was, I don't knows. I ask if he worked in another department, he said No, I said, Maybe you should consider moving out of electrical. I went to ask someone in appliances, he tried to sell me a hard wire appliance cord. I said I want to EXTEND not replace. I left my cord in the cart in the middle of the aisle and left the store. On my way the my car and elderly woman walking toward the store and I kindly said, Good luck getting any help, here reply was, "Oh, I know, it's horrible". I'm going to the Defuniak Springs LOWES in the morning. The Crestucky LOWES can't hold a candle to the DFS store. read more

Very sorry customer service for a Lowes , Manager on down . Can not find anyone to assist you .When they do they are sarcastic Most of the time one ends up asking another customer for help. I was looking for screws an employee came after I went to the service desk and the young lady didn't know a star head from a phillips. The manager told me No one can call and complain to corporate all they do is call the manager. Go in Lowes for one item where you do not know its location you will be there 3 to four hours . Yesterday a employee told me find it myself when looking for a sander. I have called Robert Nibocks Office Lowes CEO lets see if anything makes a difference. I am very doubtful that it does. What is needed is A Home Depot to move in across the street. and a Complete manager change . Seems as if everyone in that store is downtrodden no one is cheerful nor helpful. read more

Ceramic tile floor Lowe's process for estimating and installation of ceramic floor tile is flawed and can result in significant increase in cost to the customer after the original estimate is agreed and signed. I hired Lowe's to remove and replace 2000 SF of flooring. Approximately 1200 SF was ceramic, the remainder carpet and glued down wood. All flooring to be replaced with ceramic tile. The cost of the job as per Lowe's estimate was $22,000. (All prices rounded off for convenience)Materials were $7500. That leaves $14,500 for everything else. Obviously a lot for labor to remove flooring and thin set. I agree it's a lot of work so understand the high labor cost. When the subcontractor arrived they did not scrape up all the thinset, saving many hours of labor. Instead they used Mapei floor leveler, over 100 % of the 2000 SF. Very expensive. I got a call from Lowe's Pro Services saying I owed an additional $5700, increasing the original estimate by 26%. Getting a call like that is hard on the ticker. Lowe's saved on labor, I paid more in materials. The signed agreement with Lowe's was an "Estimate". The estimate had no floor leveler in it. 90 bags of expensive leveler was required. Obviously not an accurate estimate. At this point it should have been modified rather than pass the $5700 supplement on to me. Lowe's does not work that way. I was not happy, but after explaining my problem to Tim Burns in Lowe's Destin, Fl flooring, he went to work for me. He talked to Pro Services and got the $5700 supplement reduced to $2000. I was happy with what Tim did for me. If Lowe's knew 100% of the floor needed to be leveled, why did they not include it in their estimate? Lowe's system has an estimator quoting the job to be done one way and a subcontractor doing it another. In this case significantly increasingly the cost of materials, passing it all on to me. Tim Burns at Lowe's looked out for me. I appreciate what he did to reduce the cost of the supplement. It was still $2000 (10%) over the original estimate. The Subcontractor installing the floor is very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend them. I write this review because this could happen frequently and it's not fair. read more

Besides the people working the registers, we enjoy shopping at this store. Everyone is friendly besides the people who check you out. I'm not sure what is up their butts but every time we've been to this store everyone else has been super friendly and helpful besides them. Would give 5/5 but I can't stand how rude the people who work the registers are and I mean every time. Good store though. read more

Who is running this place ?? Seriuosly !! We ordered an item in store to be delivered in store BY May 15. Lowes stayed the date NOT US!! The day of delivery we called to see when would be delivered and GOT NOTHING BUT BLAH ATTITUDE. IT IS NOW 7 DAYS AFTER THE PROMISED DAY OF DELIVERY AND STILL NO ITEM AND STILL A NO CARE ATTITUDE. This Lowe's in Crestview is awesome! We own a home in Crestview and have NEVER EVER had an issue finding someone to help, receiving refunds or exchanges. Unlike the other store (I won't mention their name) there is ALWAYS a Lowe's personnel on the floor to help. Their personnel go out of their way to explain products and how they work. They are great! Their mylowes program is AWESOME as well. I never keep my receipts and with Lowe's I never have to. Their store is clean, organized and friendly! Give your business to Lowe's!!! read more

I am giving an update to my previous review. Although sales associates are friendly as can be (the only reason I'm leaving 2 stars), there is much room for improvement on their delivery team. Not the actual team who bring in your items (they are great and very informative) but the team behind the phones. We ordered our stove three weeks ago (which has now since been cancelled) and after still not receiving a phone call to update us we call them to find out where and when will our stove be delivered (each week we were under the impression it will be on the truck at the end of the week). We then received a phone call after my notation of being upset came to view on the computer to find out they didn't even have any in stock at all!!! They were imported and were in customs CA and we would have to wait another THREE to FOUR weeks!!!! How do you sell a product that is not even in the country yet???!!! Thankfully Home Depot had quite a few (over 60) in stock and we will be receiving our stove from them in less than a week. On top of this, I had to cancel our warranty plan only to find out the only thing under warranty was the stove we were canceling. My washer, dryer, and fridge were not covered after we picked a plan for those items. I'm sure it was an honest mistake, but one that could have cost us dearly!!! I will however still shop here (making sure the item is in stock for sure), bc they do beat prices compared to HD and other home improvement stores. I just can't get over how they sell items they don't even have on hand, so much for quick delivery. Again, the staff was always friendly (although some lack responsibility to the customer by keeping them updated or owning up to their mistakes). The appliance guy who sold the items was the only one to own his mistakes (on another situation) and THAT we appreciated. read more

We bought a house eight years ago and we're excited to have a Lowes so close to us. We bought our decking, appliances and so much other things to fix up our house. We have never had a problem until it came time to purchase the stove. We have a gas range that needed to be replaced. It was that last piece in the kitchen to give me all stainless steel. I was so happy we finally would be getting exactly what I wanted. Then we went to Lowes. The appliance lady was good on selling me the stove and taking my number to give to the plumber. We had to involve a plumber due to it being a gas stove. We were told we would be called, the plumber would come out and then Lowes would contact us to set up the install. Sounds easy, right? No. Ten days. Called Lowes to see what was up, nothing. Went in. Talked in person finally they gave our information to the plumber. He came the next day, looked at everything told us what would be added and that Lowes would call to get delivery set. Nope. Ten days. Went in, the appliance department had no clue what was going on. So my husband talked to the and surprise! More cost when we were already assured we had paid everything. Talked to the manager who would 'call and yell at the plumber' for us. I told him I just wanted my stove installed! Went back in after the manager told me it was taken care of and no worries. Nope Next morning I have to go in and sign more paperwork, because the manager didn't tell me I needed more paperwork! Seven days until the plumber was given the contract so he could come and install. Then two more days until my husband could get off work to stay home and get it done. A month. Well, not quite. But almost a whole month until they could install a range! Because they couldn't communicate between the company and the plumber. And Lowes is saying it's completely the plumbers fault. I do know with that level of communications they will not be doing my roof, or supplying the materials for the job because I it was hard enough not having a stove for a month I don't want my house without a roof that long. Lowes has lost any business from me except emergency, can't run to FWB or Walmart business. read more
