Ordered a ride on lawn mower was to be delivered had a 4 hour window received nothing. 2 hours after the 4 hour window WE called Customer service to find out we are not getting a delivery and need to reschedule not for the next day but the following day and again we are getting another 4 hour window at their discretion. We are now going to be on day 7 waiting for a delivery that is coming from a store that is 10 minutes from our home. We unfortunately don't have a way to get our mower home. The guy Jordan who sold us our mower was good but delivery sucks. No calls letting us know we waited for nothing to be delivered. Great customer service... FAIL read more

When people are working on home improvement or contractor projects, they need to think; to concentrate on measurement, details, and correct sizing. Loud piped-in music makes that extremely difficult. If I want tunes, I'll visit a bar or pub. I don't need that from Lowe's. read more

I waited 3 weeks for the delivery. I was told I would receive compensation for having to wait, but I had to wait till my order was delivered. So I waited, and waited. First i ordered with London, ky and they canceled delivery many times, so I canceled the order and ordered with danville, ky lowes. Danville lowes delivered the wrong products. I asked for compensation since my order was finally delivered. I asked for the amount of the delivery fee, and i will take care of the discrepancy from the delivery with Danville. I was given the run around. Was told i had to wait until my entire order was correct. Was told that they cant give me more than $60 for compensation. I had to cancel my landscaping team twice, which cost me $100. Now, I am scheduling a pickup for the entire order and a refund for the entire order including delivery fee. Delivered today, after my original order on april 28th. Pickup is tomorrow. read more

I typically looked at Lowes as a step up from Home depot, but no longer. Remember when folks said Walmart sold less then "normal quality" merchandise. We try one of Lowes Genie garage door openers. Installed it, can adjust as needed. Call Tech support,gave them the serial and the folks ask me did it come from Lowes or home dumpo? How would they know? Bought a 700 lb safe and was told they would deliver it and put it inside my house (20 ft inside). They delivered, I paid the delivery fee, and the driver did not know he was to put it inside my home. He said give him a couple days to find someone. More than a week nothing so called Lowe's. They said they do not deliver past the garage. I stated they might have told me that when buying the safe but they ignored me. I asked how could I believe anything told to me by them and had spent a good deal of money there with a 6' vinyl fence, a Generac and more after buying this new home. Too bad, they do not deliver and not their problem. Suggested they train associates better and that is on them. Described who told me and what he was wearing as a manager of that department. Not their problem. I gave them a scenario of how ridiculous that sounded with what if I go to any store and buy anything must I have the store manager or assistant manager check what I am buying to be certain it is all legitimate and honest. Was told the store manager was in a meeting, called back and told he was not in today, then ast manager's phone rang and no answer, then it rang again and someone answered (usually an associate) and it was the ast manager that was rude. I used to love Lowe's but I will spend my money anywhere but there again. One associate did try to help. She called around town trying to find someone to help me. But today I found someone on my own and it will be done in two days, the man is insured and of course I will be happy to pay someone to get it done. He gave me a small break on bringing it inside the house although he did not have to do so. Will do a review for him after it is delivered and I have all his information. But Lowe's is off my list and after all the money I have spent there it is sad they CARE SO LITTLE about customers, only the sales money coming into the store. read more

Bought a washer and dryer from this store and purchased a 5 year warranty plan. Had an appointment set up with Lowe's contract appliance company for 3/12 from 12-5pm. A lady from Elite appliance repair called and change the appointment to 4-6 on 3/12. They never called again or showed up. My wife took off from work and and lost work time to be there and this is how we were treated. Completely unacceptable! Do not buy one of these plans or purchase from this store. read more

This store in Danville Ky is terrible. Unfortunately it is the closest one to me which is still a 30 minutes drive from my home. It was terrible before the self checkout stuff. There are more employees wandering around avoiding work than there are people actually working. There are a couple of young ladies that actually do their job. The rest are pointless to even have there. The curbside and store pickup is either non responsive or slow. What a waste of time and money! Waited 40 minutes one time and 20 minutes the last two times using curbside. Those are just the ones I remember. And I still had to go into the store where there was only one person at the counter who was on the phone. So I had to wait and there was line forming behind me! If customers are being forced to go into the store, self checkout and self bag, then fire your slackers and lower the prices or pay us to do your job. Complete and utter BS! read more

Honestly, if I give it less than one star I would. Was in your store for over an hour trying to find out information about two products. Not only was I unable to find any associate at all for assistance when calling the store to find out when I would be able to find associates to assist me I am informed by the customer service agent that schedule is based on a computer when they think they will be busy. When speaking to the store manager, you could feel the lack of concern and sincerity. A little better customer service would not go amiss. read more

I feel obligated to let others know how awful of an experience I just had on multiple levels. First, I had Lowes come to my house to measure for inside french doors and was told it would be two weeks. The installer showed up today, ONE MONTH later, and doors were TOO LARGE. He took them back and I went to Horn's in Harrodsburg and oredered new ones that will be here next week, saving me money. Plus, they were more professional than Lowe's. Went to Lowes to get my refund and initially was told I had to call CPO (corporate). I reminded them that the doors were brought back to inventory this morning but when they checked they told me they had not. I called the installer, who confirmed he returned them, thus resulting customer service calling inventory AGAIN and confirming they were back in stock. They agreed to immediate refund of doors but said for installation refund had to be done through CPO. I immediately called CPO, explained my situation, and they said refunds always comes through the store. What a runaround! After having CPO talk to customer support, my installation refund was issued. Glad to know there are other options for home needs as this place has gone downhill. read more

I would give negative stars if I could. We contracted Lowe's in Danville, KY for a bathroom remodel, Lowes's sub-contracted to John Gabbard to complete the job. From the start communication was terrible, job took months to start. Within 6 months of completion the main floor tiles were loose and grout missing. You could lift the tiles off the floor, mud underneath had gaps and hadn't even stuck to the tiles. Reported to Lowe's in Dec 2018, took 6 months to repair. Entire floor demolished and re-tiled. They also repaired area in shower were grout was missing. Now the shower floor is coming apart... called Lowe's 2 months ago, still waiting for someone to repair. Numerous calls, Lowe's can't find anyone to come out and even look at it. John Gabbard no longer works with Lowe's so he won't repair his amateur crap work. What a nightmare. read more

BUYER BEWARE!! I have never been so disappointed as I was in the customer service or Samsung washer product that I purchased. In less than 60 days from the date of purchase my washer broke down and I called to complain and was directed to the Samsung warranty and had to wait 3 weeks before a rep came out only to tell me that the control unit was bad and a part would have to be ordered. I again called lowes who I have always felt was synonymas with a household brand name to be told they would not exchange the washer or make any attempt to correct the wrong. Now I am waiting an additional minimum of 6-8 weeks for a control board without a washer which is completely unacceptable. I even purchased the five year extended warranty to be sure that I would not be without and that has made no difference to Lowes. If this company were to care about its patrons as I have been for MANY years they would have exchanged the washer given the circumstance because they would have stood behind their products that they are selling.
