My husband and I came to Lowes on a Monday morning to get some supplies. We asked Keith, who was in tools, where a plumping item was located. He told us which aisle it was and even offered to walk us to the item. We declined his offer and walked to find the item. Later, in another part of the plumbing aisle, Keith checked up on us and made sure we got what we needed. Yes, Keith provided us the right aisle number! What great service!!! Just bought a lake house in the area and needed to start fixing things up. Shopped several times in the last week and nothing but positives! Everyone seems so pleasant and professional! Walking to the back of the store I am greeted by every employee and asked if they can help me locate anything. Have a feeling their numbers are low only because the positive experiences aren't being reviewed. Unfortunately, most people forget to comment on the good but are very motivated to leave comments about something they feel was bad. DFS Lowes is the absolute WORST. Lowes has always been my go to for everything but after my resent experience they have lost my business. No one cares nor do they care whether they keep you as a customer. I have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars at Lowes over the years. NEVER order custom anything and have them install I waited 6mths for my doors and then they only deliver ONE. The delivery driver did not speak English and could not tell me why he only had one. Then I call the store and they seem amused that my other door is sitting right there in front of them. And why is it when you ask to speak to a manager you get put on hold for half of forever? Had to hang up and call back just to get a manager. Still waiting for the issue to be resolved. BEWARE of this Lowe's everyone, THEY ARE HORRIBLE! read more

I have spent thousands at Lowes here in Fl and in Tn over the years. Just finished remodeling my home and all appliances, flooring, hardware, etc was purchased at Lowes in Defuniak Springs. I was very happy with everything. Now I needed a riding mower. Went there, found a Craftsman which I have owned before on clearance. Waited over an hour to get all the info and picked out a Craftsman weed eater, gas can and fuel to boot. Would have been around $1700. They had trouble getting my new Lowes card up and running because I have a flip phone, yes, old school, I know, and they needed my email for a confirmation code. Some manager came up to help, immediately asked if I was taking the tractor with me. I said I would need it delivered but was happy to pay the delivery fee. We don't deliver clearance items was the response. Why not? I'm willing to pay the fee and I don't have a trailer and the mower wouldn't fit in my truck bed. We don't deliver clearance items a little firmer this time. I shrugged, said ok and started to walk out. A very curt OK was her response. I have a call in to Lowes corporate and will call the non 800 hard line Monday morning. If this isn't resolved in my favor someway, it will be the end of a long and till this point, happy relationship with them. Wow, I hate to slam a store I've spent so much money in, as it makes me pretty stupid for spending all the money. HOWEVER, about 15 months ago I bought a very expensive Kobalt Electric mower, and Trimmer. Over $550 for the pair. My main concern was the 40 volt battery, so I addressed that concern with the fellow working that department. He pointed out Kolbalt has a 3 year warranty (clearly marked on the box) and Lowe's backed it up. NO THEY DON'T........ myth, uninformed employee, or just a lie, I don't know, but I do know, Lowe's want to charge me $149 for a new battery......... and to me THAT IS INSULTING......... read more

DO NOT PURCHASE WARRANTY!! We have purchased everything we have ever needed from Lowe's. We are going to rethink it now. We just pushased a new fridge from them in November and already the ice make Is broken. That is not my problem with Lowe's. I called them for a repair. They set up appt with a company to come out. It was going to be a week. They said the company would call with a better time in the window of 8-12. We heard nothing. At 9am the morning of appt, I had to call the company. The man who answered said that they would be out between 12-4. I reminded him that my appt. Time was for 8-12. He responded he would be there at 12. No apology. He said the tech was coming from PCB. That is not my problem. I called Lowe's and this company is the only one offered! Affordable Tech Services out of Bonifay, Fl. Evidently this is the kind of service they offer! this is the worst store ever!! Their customer service sucks! If I ran my small business this way I wouldn't have any customers and we have more than 600! My last incident happened when I ordered a compact refrigerator on 7-10-20 and to this date have still not received it. I was told "Greg" was going to check with their other stores and call me back. HE NEVER CALLED ME BACK! I just called him again and be tells me the same thing and that he is (for sure) going to call me back this time. If he does not I am going to Destin (a 45 minute drive for me) and get one from Home Depot. I applied for a Lowe's credit card and they denied me my credit score is excellent I get credit cards with high credit limits I own my own home and they denied me that put a hard hit on my credit score now a month later they send me a letter telling me that I have been qualified for a Lowe's credit card I will never shop at Lowe's my new hardware store is Home Depot and we spend a lot of money there I am just very upset with Lowe's Home Depot was very happy to give me a credit card and have our business so FYI don't ever apply for Lowe's credit card it doesn't matter how good of a creditor you are they will not give you one will just hurt your credit score when they deny you read more

This has been "MY LOWES" for years and I love them!! I had a low credit amount available and they upped it so I could get the washer I desperately needed! I also ordered some hard to get Christmas decorations a couple of years ago and they searched high and low to get them for me, having them shipped in from another store!
